"Daddy, Mommy, where are we going now?"

"To the amusement park, do you like that?" Li Mingxi asked her.

Xinxin was puzzled, "What is an amusement park?"

Xiao Lang and Li Mingxi were a bit dumbfounded; she had never been to an amusement park?

Li Mingxi smiled and said, "It’s a place with lots of fun things for kids to play with."

Xinxin’s eyes lit up, "It must be lots of fun."

"Yes, it is."

"Thank you, Daddy and Mommy."

Li Mingxi hugged her, "No need to say thank you anymore. Aren’t we your daddy and mommy today? Anything we do for you is just right."

Xinxin was sensible, "But I still want to say thank you."

Li Mingxi couldn’t help but ask her, "Why did Xinxin want us to be your mommy and daddy for a day?"

At the mention of this, Xinxin seemed a bit sad.

"Because I really miss my mommy and daddy, and I really like uncle and auntie, so I hope to be your child for one day."

Li Mingxi just smiled and said nothing more.

She thought, if she and Xiao Lang got married, they could indeed adopt this child.

"I’ve seen this place on TV!" she said excitedly, "So this is the amusement park!"

Li Mingxi and Xiao Lang each held one of her hands, leading her inside.

"What does Xinxin want to play?" Xiao Lang asked her.

Xinxin shyly shook her head, "I don’t know."

"Why don’t we go on the roller coaster?" Li Mingxi suggested, she loved thrilling rides the most.

Xiao Lang’s face stiffened for a moment, but it was fleeting and Li Mingxi didn’t notice.

"Alright, let’s do that." he agreed.

Xinxin nervously said, "It seems scary."

"Are you scared?" Li Mingxi asked her.

Xinxin immediately straightened her little body, "Not scared!"

"So brave!"

Li Mingxi urged Xiao Lang to buy tickets, and after they got the tickets, they went in together.

Xinxin was no longer afraid, rather she was quite intrigued.

Even when the roller coaster rushed down from the highest point, she wasn’t scared.

Li Mingxi held her hand, screaming together, laughing happily.

Xiao Lang, however, remained silent.

Once they got off, Xiao Lang crouched by the trash can and retched.

Li Mingxi contemptuously looked at him, is he really so faint-hearted?

Xinxin anxiously patted Xiao Lang’s back, "Daddy, are you okay?"

Xiao Lang shook his head, "I’m fine, just a bit car sick."

"What is car sick?" Xinxin curiously asked.

Li Mingxi took her hand and explained to her what being car sick meant.

Xiao Lang composed himself and walked over to them as if nothing happened.

"Let’s go, we can try other things now."

After trying two more activities, Li Mingxi suggested, "Why don’t we go to the zoo?"

The zoo was right next door, they could reach it once they went out.

"Great, I want to see little monkeys, and peacocks, and tigers!" Xinxin cheered in agreement.

Xiao Lang didn’t want to stay at the amusement park either, those games were too childish.

Having reached an agreement, they headed to the zoo.

Once at the zoo, Xinxin was even happier.

Seeing the little monkeys, she imitated monkey movements, scratched her head, scratched her bottom, making Li Mingxi laugh out loud.
