Little Clementine was very obedient. Jasmine Yale told her not to take it, so she didn’t take it and held her little rabbit obediently.

As night fell, Butler Santana returned.

"Miss Yale, everything has been handled. The money and clothes have been donated to the charity," he said.

"Thank you," Jasmine Yale replied, "I’ll take Little Clementine for a walk tonight."

"I understand, Miss Yale," Butler Santana said, with a look of great reluctance in his eyes, not knowing how many more times she could see Jasmine Yale and Little Clementine.

After dinner.

Jasmine Yale pushed Little Clementine out, taking her to the nearby park, shops, streets, malls... with great patience.

Little Clementine had been here many times, but each time she still blinked her curious big eyes, looking around, never growing tired of it.

"Baby, we’re leaving here, and it’s unlikely we’ll come back. Will you miss this place? But you’re so young, you probably won’t remember it," Jasmine Yale said softly to Little Clementine, sighing.

Just like herself, when she was very young, she was also the Little Princess of the Ximenez Family and had lived a particularly beautiful life, but unfortunately, she had no memory of it.

Too young to remember.

The evening breeze was cool, carrying a few gentle touches in the air, with the scent of flowers and dry grass, mixed with the smell of dust.

Jasmine Yale pushed Little Clementine along, seemingly tireless.

She had walked many roads countless times, familiar beyond familiarity.

It seemed that each walk reminded her of her feelings at the time... such as being happy when she received scholarships, or feeling upset when she quarreled with classmates, but those memories had passed and would no longer concern her.

She was returning to Willow Wave City, the place where she grew up, with Green Peak Village, green waters, and the most pristine purity.

She planned to raise Little Clementine in that unspoiled place, giving her a childhood free from worries, rather than being caught up in adult disputes.

Thinking of this, she recalled Little Chale.

Little Chale was not at fault; he was only wrong to be born into the Cheney Family, having to bear what was never meant for him.

She remembered the time Yolanda Fern pressed Little Chale at the Ferris wheel, almost causing him harm with a knife.

Her heart pounded suddenly.

She did not want Little Clementine to endure such harm again.

Little Clementine was a little girl; she hoped she could be safe, healthy, and happy.

Never again caught in the Cheney Family’s conflicts.

Little Clementine remained cheerful, showing no upset emotion. Wherever Jasmine Yale pushed her, she looked there, excited, like a little angel.

Jasmine Yale didn’t buy her too many things, but took her on the small train and climbed the sand pit.

The whole time, she was accompanied solely by Little Clementine.

Little Clementine liked handsome boys, so Jasmine Yale held her to take photos with handsome boys. Seeing Little Clementine’s innocent and cheerful smile, she felt content.

That night, she spent time only with Little Clementine, thinking she had plenty of time to be with her in the future.

Back home, Little Clementine was tired and fell asleep.

After bathing, she wore pajamas and sat on the balcony, cross-legged, doing nothing, just sitting high above, watching the vast, ethereal night sky over Cakago.

The stars were shining, and clouds were ethereal, making the night feel pure and tranquil.

Years ago, she came to Cakago alone, and now leaving Cakago, except for Little Clementine, she was still alone.
