Chapter 2685: Long Time No See, Long Time No See

When she opened the cabinet, she inevitably saw many gifts.

Most of these were from Sylvan Cheney. He had given her clothes, shoes, combs, bracelets... but now they were all locked away in the cabinet. Just like those gifts from Landon, she couldn’t take them with her. She planned to donate them all when she left, to do some good.

She never threw away the Yellow Immortal Rose that Will Caddel gave her, and whenever she saw it, her heart was filled with emotion.

Since that incident, he never called her again, and she didn’t inquire about where he went or what happened.

In her plans, she originally thought she could work steadily at ZR, supporting herself and Little Clementine.

This kind of ordinary stability, how wonderful it was.

Unfortunately, the person who filled her dreams also personally shattered them.

If that’s the case, it’s better not to have given her hope from the start.

It was still raining outside as Jasmine Yale changed her clothes, then opened her umbrella again and left the community.

She didn’t expect to encounter an old acquaintance in the community.

Yukon Carbon’s Mercedes was parked at the entrance of the community, and he himself stood under the eaves with a black umbrella, looking down at the water droplets splashing on the roadside.

Upon seeing this familiar figure, Jasmine Yale couldn’t help but stop and take a closer look.

It was him.

Yukon Carbon looked just the same, his complexion gentle, wrapped in a black trench coat that accentuated his tall figure. He stood silently, as if waiting for someone.

He kept his head down, his gaze was silent, without sorrow or joy.

Regardless, Jasmine Yale was surprised for a moment; she hadn’t seen Yukon Carbon for a long time.

"Yukon!" Jasmine Yale walked over.

Yukon Carbon raised his head, a flicker of pleasure in his eyes: "Jasmine."

"The wind is strong outside, why are you standing here? Why didn’t you call me?"

"I also just arrived, and hadn’t yet figured out how to call you, afraid you might be surprised."

"Why worry about that? No matter what, we’ve known each other for so long." Jasmine Yale looked at him, "Are you cold? Why not come to my place to sit for a while?"

"No, this time I drove down specially from Old York."

"Ah? You drove here? That must have taken a long time. Why didn’t you take a flight?"

"I wanted to bring you a few fun little companions." Yukon Carbon curved his lips, a mysterious smile in his eyes.

"Fun little companions? What fun little companions?" Jasmine Yale was intrigued.

"Get in the car."

Yukon Carbon opened the car door.

Jasmine Yale sat in the passenger seat, and as soon as she got in, she heard a "meow."

Then, she immediately spotted Sweet Kitty in the small nest! Beside Sweet Kitty was a tiny kitten!

"Sweet Kitty!" Jasmine Yale was excited, reaching out to hold the cat, "Sweet Kitty, it’s really you! Do you still recognize me? I’m Jasy, your Jasy."

She stroked Sweet Kitty’s soft fur, her face and eyes filled with delight.

It’s been such a long time, such a long time.

Her Sweet Kitty had gained a lot of weight, lazily stretching out its tongue to lick Jasmine Yale’s hand as if it still recognized her.

Yukon Carbon laughed: "It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? Did you miss it?"

"Yes, I did." Jasmine Yale was very excited, "Yukon, thank you for bringing Sweet Kitty here. You drove for so long. I haven’t seen it in ages, and of course, I haven’t seen you in ages either. Seeing you both reminds me of the carefree days when I first arrived in Cakago."
