In the pitch-black deep-blue sea, one light after another flickered and passed by, the lead light bright and splendid, like a long ribbon cutting through the dark waters.

The one behind looked much plainer, like a giant bubble, rapidly pushing through the sea towards the front, its speed even faster than the previous one, slowly closing the distance.

Li Xizhi raced ahead, powered by the wind, his escaping light increasingly deviating, creating a dazzling ribbon of color. The Escape Skill he cultivated was the Fourth Grade "Morning Glow Imperial Travel," with immense speed.

The "Long Misty Twilight" he practiced was known for its swift speed. Only with various enhancements could he maintain a certain distance from Dongfang Heyun, preventing from being immediately caught up.

Li Xizhi gradually shifted his direction, giving Dongfang Heyun a chance to close in significantly. The youth raised his eyebrows and could already see the colorful light ahead.

Dongfang Heyun, not understanding why Li changed direction, wouldn't let go of this opportunity: he pinched a azure bead from his hand and threw it fiercely toward the other's back.

Li Xizhi, up ahead, pulled out a Talisman, ready for battle. His arm had quickly reattached, slightly stiff but usable, which slightly surprised Dongfang Heyun:

'This boy has actually resolved my Mana so quickly!'

With his palm as a blade, Dongfang Heyun's strike was not just a cut but had Mana that should've rapidly infiltrated the wound, not only disrupting Li Xizhi's Mana circulation but also preventing his wound from healing.

If it weren't for the several beams of golden light hidden within the Feather Clothing, a single strike would have shattered the severed arm, never giving him the chance to reattach it. Now, it's marginally usable.

'What Precious Medicine has he taken?'

Li Xizhi only pulled out a Talisman to defend himself, equally unconcerned about the golden light from the Feather Clothing. As for why his severed arm could quickly reattach, it was naturally due to the Talisman Qi he received.

He was imbued with the Talisman "Colorful Cloud Thoroughfare," able to resolve other's Spells. As the colorful light circulated, the pale blue Mana left in the wound quickly melted away, flesh binding to flesh and emitting strands of rosy clouds.

As he was slowly getting accustomed to his arm, Dongfang Heyun's silently advancing Spell hit the Talisman, causing several thunderous noises. The shockwaves spread, and Li Xizhi grunted, his aura stumbling and the rosy clouds beneath his feet slowing down.

Dongfang Heyun closed the distance in an instant but saw Li Xizhi once again casting a spell.

The intrigued youth watched, seemingly waiting for him to cast newer spells, but the few spells in Li's hand seemed familiar, as if they had been used previously.

In such precious time, Li Xizhi unexpectedly arranged his right hand above, left hand below, each hand stretching out a finger to touch, casting a clone technique.

'Seeking death.'

He moved steadily and elegantly, not showing any signs of doubt or concern, letting Li Xizhi up ahead do as he pleased while casually extending a hand towards his back.

"Pu!"

Li Xizhi coughed up blood, actually taking the full brunt of the strike. A golden-blue palm imprint appeared on the back of his Feather Clothing, as surging golden light once again sprayed from within, rushing towards his face.

This time, Dongfang Heyun was prepared. He pushed with force to shatter the golden light, but this slight pause allowed the surrounding waters, dyed by the mist, to turn a colorful hue.

Meanwhile, Li Xizhi took advantage of this brief moment to let light burst forth from beneath his feet, his body dissipating like colored mist, leaving behind three dazzling trails in the air.

"Golden Rain Amidst the Clouds!"

His refined clones separated in an instant, each leaping different ways. Soon the area was filled with stunning lights moving every which way, using the Rainbow Mist to obscure their tracks and darting in all directions.

Over a dozen yards away, Li Xizhi's figures formed in all directions, their movements synchronized, each throwing a sleeve that scattered light slowly through the air like smoke or cotton, riding the rainbow light into the distance.

Dongfang Heyun nodded slightly, showing a tinge of admiration:

'First enduring a palm strike to cast a spell, using the golden light emitted by the Feather Clothing to blind my sight, then filling in his tracks with the Rainbow Mist to prevent me from distinguishing the clones from the real body, as he escapes in all directions...'

In just a moment, Li Xizhi, bearing his injuries, unleashed three spells in succession, turning into over a dozen lights flying in different directions. Dongfang Heyun stood still, swept away a swath of Rainbow Mist with his sleeve, and shook his head slightly.

"Such a pity."

Li Xizhi calculated everything precisely, but failed to realize that Dongfang Heyun's Mana had already attached to the Feather Clothing with that palm strike like bone-piercing worms, allowing him to determine Li Xizhi's true escaping direction, even without having time to discern the authenticity of the clones.

'He's already taken one of my strikes, and a connection has been made. Though he disperses like a heavenly maiden scattering blossoms and escapes in every direction, it's all in vain.'

He closed his eyes slightly, sensing the distant Mana fluctuations. Gliding over the sea for several miles, his body dissipated and reassembled like mist, as the surrounding sea water once again began to freeze into frost, emitting small, crisp noises.

The sea roared, and his figure transformed into mist, dispersing and reassembling, materializing in front of the colorful light, blocking its path completely.

Gently flicking his sleeve, Dongfang Heyun reappeared in front of Li Xizhi, who possibly due to the severe injuries, had become less sensitive and continued to fly forward without awareness.

"Eh?"

Dongfang Heyun's normally gentle and elegant expression shifted, a smile appearing on his face. With a gentle wave of his sleeve, the "Li Xizhi" in front of him scattered into drifting colorful lights.
