Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)
Chapter 193: Angel Knows Her Wife
Now Angel was half-naked, pacing around the kitchen, trying to process what her wife had just spilled out.
April had to call Katie to tell her that she was going to be coming in late, and she made Angel grab chocolate ice cream from the fridge and handed it to her.
April was busy eating ice cream, watching her Alpha wife pace right and left. Her spoon scraped the plastic tub, making a small rhythmic sound while Angel wore a path...
"Papi, you want to stop and sit down?" April said, trying to stop the Alpha. She was still thinking about her health. She set her bowl down on her lap, her eyes tracking every frantic turn Angel made.
"How is this possible? I can’t fucking believe it... They knew what I went through in there, and when I returned, they acted like nothing happened. I came back from a four-year-long holiday..." Angel still paced around. Her chest rose and fell in fast, shallow hitches, her hands gripping her hair as she turned at the edge of the counter. She thought that her Alpha mother and Madam had no clues, but they actually did.
Then Angel stopped and sat down on the chair beside April. She faced her wife. Her knees knocked against the edge of the wood, her whole body rigid as she leaned in close.
"Why did you not tell me that you knew about the military?"
"I did say I was here if you were ready to talk about it..."
"Yeah, for my mom’s death, not the military. And you even acted like you did not know about the military." Angel’s voice rose, her throat tight with confusion while her pulse beat hard against her neck.
"I did not know about the beatings... I’m sorry I did not tell you." April reached out, her cool fingers lightly touching Angel’s bare knee.
"I’m not angry at you, Bebe. I am angry at them... those people who sent me there. They are going to pay for every..."
Before Angel could finish her sentence, April put a spoonful of chocolate ice cream into her mouth, shutting the Alpha up. The cold sweetness hit Angel’s tongue instantly, freezing the rest of her sentence right in her throat.
"Looks like Lucy May is going to love chocolate. I just can’t stop eating this ice cream... I need you to buy more chocolate ice cream and candy bars before I get home," April said, eating her ice cream. She scooped up another bite without missing a single beat, her gaze softening as she watched Angel swallow hard.
"Okay, I will buy more ice cream and fruits."
"No, no, no... Angel, you have been bringing so many varieties of fruits lately, and I am tired of them. I ate papaya for dinner last night and then strawberries as a side dish this morning. I don’t know why you keep bringing fruit and veggies home. We are not vegetarians..." April said, even her eyes looking at the fruits sitting on the counter. She pointed her spoon toward the bright bowls stacked high by the sink.
"Well, I got free coupons from the twins, and Grandma Lucinda said fruits are healthy for you and the baby..." Angel shifted in her seat, her shoulders pulling back as she defended her choice.
April stared at her wife like she could see through her. She tilted her head, her eyes narrowing in a quiet, knowing look.
"Recently, Katie has been complaining about you bullying her wife."
"Whatttt, which one?" Angel’s eyes went wide, her posture straightening instantly.
"I said wife, not husband. Did you really use her poems against her?"
"She teases and bullies me as well. I’m just giving her a taste of her own medicine." Angel huffed, folding her arms across her bare chest with a defensive scowl.
"You have to stop that Papi. Katie doesn’t like it when Sabrina gets grumpy. It upsets her to watch her Alphas sad. When one is not being themselves, Katie doesn’t think straight. It really worries her, and she is my partner in business and friend. So stop." April set her spoon down with a soft click, her tone firm and steady.
"Fine. I will give her her book and stop using it to get free things, and inform Katie to talk to her wife to stop teasing and be nice to me. She is never nice..." Angel grumbled, crossing her ankles under the chair while her chin rested against her chest.
"Sweetie, you are never nice to anyone unless it favors you. You are only nice to me because you love me."
"Are you trying to say Sabrina does not love me? I am her best friend. No, Carlos is actually my best friend. She is just an extra... third wheel."
April rolled her eyes. She was done with the ice cream, so she had to go to work. And she had also successfully gotten Angel’s mind off the district. She had a sense that the Alpha was going into a wrong corner, so she had to bring her back. She slid the empty tub toward the middle of the table, her breath evening out as the heavy tension in the kitchen finally faded away.
"Come on... put on your clothes and drive me to the store..." April said. She held her wife’s hand to assist her in standing up from the chair she had been sitting on for almost three hours.
Angel slowly pouted softly. She repeated that sound. Her bottom lip pushed out into a dramatic, exaggerated frown while she stayed glued to the seat.
"What is it, Papi?"
"What about the thing we were going to do? Don’t tell me I stripped for nothing..." Angel pouted, hoping she would get it. She gestured down at her bare legs and shirt lying discarded on the floor.
April smiled at her, then she made a serious face. She straightened her spine, her expression locking into a strict, unwavering mask.
"No morning sex, baby. You tried to lie to me, and you broke one of our rules. Do you really think I will let you escape the fact that you visited your uncle’s restaurant and let one of those nuns touch you? I will be waiting outside..."
April walked towards the door while Angel picked up her shirt and pants, running after her wife, she scrambled to pull her bottoms on while moving, almost tripping over her own ankles.
"I swear, I closed my eyes throughout the session. I did not look at the big titties or any exposed part. She even wore gloves before touching my body..." Angel yelled out as she burst through the front door right behind her wife, waving her long-sleeve shirt wildly in the bright morning light.
