Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1553 - 1594: Caring
Atlas Shaw also smiled and said to Old Man May, "Then I’ll return to the Tavern first, but I fear I will disturb your residence again tomorrow."
After all, Ivy and Mabel, they are all here.
Old Man May said, "That’s certainly no problem. Speaking of which, there was a dinner meeting before that I was supposed to attend, but due to a friend’s situation, I couldn’t make it. So I didn’t get much chance to chat with Mr. Shaw. I’ve watched a lot of your films and admire your acting skills. Perhaps there will be opportunities for cooperation in the future."
"Perhaps." Atlas Shaw smiled gently. He had originally chosen to retire from acting because of Ivy’s disappearance, and now that Ivy has been found, about his retirement... maybe he’ll choose to start again once Ivy’s treatment is thoroughly complete and she has fully recovered her health.
However, what is somewhat different from before is that, previously, he always wanted to play different characters, different lives, hoping it might bring more interest to the act of living. But now, after experiencing Ivy’s situation, he seems to gradually understand some of life’s significance.
Even today, at the moment he found Ivy, when that small figure leaped into view, his excitement was unprecedented.
He remembers clearly even the beating of his heart now.
Perhaps, for him, life means encountering important people and being able to stay beside them, savoring the ups and downs together.
Atlas Shaw turned around, ready to leave. But before departing, he seemed to think of something and looked back at Jeremiah May standing not far away, saying, "Young Master Jeremiah, thank you so much today for bringing Ivy over to ask for the poster."
If it weren’t for this, he might have seen Ivy a bit later.
Jeremiah May’s face suddenly became a little uneasy.
Atlas Shaw smiled and then left.
Jeremiah May watched Atlas Shaw’s back and couldn’t help but think about what he had seen at the police station—that, despite the little girl being dazed, having forgotten the past, she still, subconsciously, remembers Atlas Shaw?
That’s why, the first time she sees Atlas Shaw on a television screen, she reacts like that. What exactly was the relationship between the little girl and Atlas Shaw before?
How deep were the emotions that, under such circumstances, she still remembers Atlas Shaw?
Even Jeremiah May didn’t notice that, at this moment, he actually cared about this answer.

Kyle Kinston, holding his daughter, and Mabel Quinn arrived at the guest room. The May Family’s guest room was spacious and nicely arranged. Once the little girl was carried into the room, she did not cry or fuss but only hung her head, sucking on her finger, dazed.
Seeing her daughter like this, Mabel Quinn couldn’t help but feel a bit sad. Her daughter would only suck her finger like this when she was under three years old; once she grew older, she never did this anymore.
"I’ll take her for a bath first," Mabel Quinn said. In the room, Old Man May had already instructed the servant to prepare robes and brand new clean pajamas, even considering the details.
"Let me do it." Kyle Kinston said, "You are pregnant now, so it’s not convenient for you to do these things."
"It’s okay, I’m still early in pregnancy, and... the baby in my belly is very well-behaved. Upon arriving at the May Family, it hasn’t caused any fuss; it must know we’ve found its sister." Mabel Quinn said.
