Chapter 1552 - 1593: She’s Nannan, Not Ivy

But the little one frowned slightly, "I’m Nannan, not Ivy."

Kyle Kinston pondered for a moment and said, "Alright, Nannan, I am your daddy, and she..." Kyle pointed to Mabel Quinn, who was sitting on the sofa nearby, "She is your mommy. Would you like to sleep with us tonight?"

The little one remained silent, as if still digesting their words, and seemed to not understand why her mother had become her godmother and why another person was now her mommy, and also a daddy appeared.

The pair of beautiful phoenix eyes were filled with confusion, yet these two people in front of her didn’t make her feel unwelcome; instead, there was an irresistible urge to get close to them.

It was as if her body’s instincts were telling her that these two would be good to her.

"Okay." The little one nodded her little head after a moment, then blinked, "Daddy? Mommy?"

"Yes, I am your daddy, and she is your mommy," Kyle said.

The little girl’s small head turned to Amelia Foster, seemingly unable to process everything all at once.

Amelia quickly said, "Yes, they are your daddy and mommy, your biological parents. From now on, don’t call me mommy; call me godmother, okay?"

The identity of godmother was already unexpected for her. She truly never thought that this child’s mother would acknowledge her this way and grant her such a role.

But the little one didn’t respond, just kept blinking her eyes. Obviously, her little mind was very confused at the moment.

"Alright, let’s leave it at that for today. Some titles can be gradually corrected over time." Atlas Shaw spoke up, "Nannan must be tired today too; better take her to rest early."

"Sounds good," Kyle said, then picked up his daughter as Mr. Mei arranged for the servant to lead the Kinston couple to the guest room.

Before leaving, Mabel Quinn thanked Amelia once again, making Amelia feel at a loss once more. But as she looked at the little one in Kyle’s arms, Amelia knew that from now on, she would no longer be this child’s mother, and she couldn’t cuddle this soft little body to sleep every night.

This child would receive the best treatment, and maybe soon, the child wouldn’t be in such a muddle but become a healthy, smart kid.

But... why did she still want to cry? She should be happy, as this child would have the best of everything with her biological parents, far better than staying with her, but her heart was filled with reluctance.

"That day during the day, you were the one holding Ivy at the mall, right?" A voice suddenly sounded next to her ear. She looked up to see Atlas Shaw speaking to her.

Once a person who could only be admired from afar, now stood so close to her. Amelia Foster was taken aback momentarily, and then she nodded.

"Thank you for being so good to Ivy," Atlas Shaw said. "If you need any help in the future, just let me know."

"No... no need to thank me. Maybe it’s fate, and besides, I genuinely wanted to be good to her," Amelia said, then greeted Mr. Mei and stepped out of the main house.
