Mabel Quinn chuckled, "Isn’t your husband the same way? If you have another daughter, she’ll definitely be a beauty."

"I wish!" Alice Conley said. "But I just haven’t gotten pregnant. The hospital checks are all normal. I’ve tried all those positions that are supposed to help with conception, and I’ve almost worn Dorian out."

"..." Mabel Quinn was speechless. After all these years, her friend still spoke so candidly!

"I really want a daughter. They say daughters are a mother’s little sweetheart. I’m just missing a little sweetheart now," Alice Conley sighed. As for sons, they’re only there to challenge her intelligence!

At this moment, in the study, Dorian Howards was looking at the document Kyle Kinston had just sent him from his phone. It detailed the recent activities of his cousin, Francine Howards. The documents included quite a few photos, some of which showed Francine meeting Alessia Quinn at a nightclub.

Initially, Kyle had someone keeping an eye on Alessia, but unexpectedly, Francine showed up. Once it was discovered that Francine had appeared in front of Alessia, Kyle naturally had someone investigate Francine as well.

He would not let Mabel experience even the slightest danger again.

"This is Mabel’s cousin, Alessia Quinn. She’s never had any good intentions towards Mabel. Do you think the situations in these photos are just coincidences? Did Francine and Alessia just happen to meet?" Kyle Kinston asked.

Dorian Howards’ face was already clouded over. He thought previous incidents had taught his cousin a lesson, but apparently, she’s still unwilling to give up. As for Alessia, he had seen the news before and roughly knew what had happened.

"I’ve let her go several times. If she tries anything against Mabel again, then she can’t blame me for not holding back," Kyle Kinston said. After all, Dorian was his long-time friend, so he gave him a heads-up.

Dorian understood Kyle’s intention. Clearly, Kyle was giving him time to stop her. If he could prevent his cousin’s actions, then things might not escalate to the worst point.

"She’s being too stubborn. I’ll handle it," Dorian said. "But... if she really does something... can you spare her life?"

Thinking of his cousin’s obstinate behavior, Dorian couldn’t help but add another comment.

"If someone repeatedly tried to harm Alice, would you spare their life or cut to the heart of the matter?" Kyle Kinston countered.

Dorian was left speechless. In his heart, he knew the answer. If it really came to that, he would probably stop at nothing to eliminate the threat, not leaving any chance for another incident that he would regret for the rest of his life.

He understood that with Kyle’s character, coming here to talk about this was already a significant concession.

"I understand. If she can’t be dissuaded, then Francine will have brought it upon herself," Dorian said.

Kyle Kinston patted Dorian Howards on the shoulder. "Alright, let’s head downstairs. Mabel and the others have probably been waiting for a while."

Dorian finally sighed, closed the computer, and got up.
