So, little Jasper Howards finally begrudgingly showed a bit of gentlemanly conduct, agreeing to play with little Katherine Quinn. As for Katherine’s fondness for playing house, little Jasper gave a disdainful smirk but had no choice. After all, his mom was beside him, occasionally waving her fist, the threat clear as day.

"How is it too far? I thought about this ever since we were pregnant," Alice said.

But for Ivy’s future partner, there might have to be a connection by fate! Thinking of this, Mabel’s eyes dimmed slightly.

"What’s wrong?" Alice asked.

"I was just thinking, sometimes no matter how much we adults plan, it still depends on the children’s wishes. If they are destined to be together, I’d be more than happy. If they can’t, fostering a sibling-like bond would be nice too, so when we grow old, they can support each other," Mabel said. She didn’t mention the Kinston Family’s Blood Curse directly but gave Alice a heads-up so her expectations wouldn’t get too high.

"Of course," Alice nodded naturally, not planning to forcibly pair the kids together like in feudal times.

"By the way, now that you’re with Kyle Kinston, when do you plan to change your daughter’s surname back to Kinston, or will she remain a Quinn?" Alice asked.

Today, Mabel and Kyle had brought their daughter along for the visit, and that’s how Alice came to know they were officially together. They would hold a wedding soon.
