Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife

Chapter 1418 - 1458: Stop Dreaming

When the two of them stepped out of the room, Kyle Kinston’s voice rang out leisurely, "Actually, sometimes leaving someone alive can be more painful than death. If that time comes and you really want me to spare her, I can do it, but for the rest of her life, she’ll be a ruin. I won’t allow her to have another chance to harm Mabel."

Dorian Howards felt a pang in his heart upon hearing this. He knew these words from Kyle were spoken for his sake. His only hope now was that he could really persuade Francine.

Kyle Kinston and Mabel Quinn only left Dorian Howards and Alice Conley’s home after having dinner. Naturally, during dinner, Kyle and Dorian tactfully avoided the unpleasant topics. After dinner, Alice and Mabel reluctantly said their goodbyes, but Alice was happy thinking that after the wedding, she would return to Falling City permanently. The two best friends would be able to meet often instead of mainly interacting online as before.

However, when the time came for farewell, the two little ones waved goodbye and said "bye-bye" and "see you" quite straightforwardly, without showing signs of reluctance, much to Alice’s regret.

Although fostering a sibling-like relationship between the two little ones was nice, Alice still hoped they might become in-laws one day, which would be even better.

Looking at the adorable little Ivy, Alice couldn’t help but drool a little. She was so soft and lovely, even cozy to hug, practically the perfect daughter. Unlike her son, who always looked repulsed whenever she stole a kiss. Jasper would always reluctantly allow her to give him a peck.

And to have her son kiss her voluntarily? That was even more of a rarity.

"Don’t you think it would be wonderful if our little Jasper and Ivy could become a couple?" Alice mused dreamily. "Then, Mabel and I would be in-laws. Wow, we could plan the kids’ weddings together, and when we’re old, we could get a big house and live together..."

Imagining it, it’s such a beautiful vision!

But Dorian Howards quickly doused her dream with cold water, saying, "Stop dreaming. It’s impossible."

"Hey? Why is it impossible?" Alice asked, puzzled. "Mabel and I are best friends, and you’re good buddies with Kyle Kinston. These two kids are only half a year apart, it’s totally possible, isn’t it?"

Dorian, on the other hand, knew that if nothing unexpected happened, Katherine Quinn would likely inherit the Kinston Family bloodline curse, which could only be resolved by finding her life partner, who would usually be the Kinston Family member’s other half.

As for the likelihood of their son being Katherine’s life partner, it was very, very slim.

Before Dorian could come up with an excuse to answer his wife, little Jasper Howards appeared out of nowhere, his delicate features clearly showing disdain—not toward Katherine, but toward his mom’s beautiful visions.

He had spent the whole afternoon playing house with Ivy. If he had to play house with her every day in the future... just thinking about that possibility made little Jasper shiver.

Even though he was only six, he understood things about the Quinn Family, marriage, and matchmaking quite well. It meant he would have to stay together forever like his parents, even sleep on the same bed at night.
