Chapter 4521: A Big Achievement?
Chapter 4521: A Big Achievement?
"These are still High-Level Primarch Grade resources. Besides, it will be difficult for your power to use them since you need to get out of here or out of the Lower Realms."
"You may be right." Davis nodded, "But I still reject it. Barakiel is a valuable commodity to me. If he doesn’t cooperate, I’ll see to it that he can be harvested again and again until he can no longer pass his own heavenly tribulation. After all, if I kept healing him and regenerating the blood essence again and again, he is bound to fail in his own tribulation and die."
Rath Heavenshade was stunned, his heart trembling. He no longer doubted that getting caught by the Divine Emperor of Death wouldn’t end well for anyone who wanted to harm him.
Still, he noticed a discrepancy.
"Wait, if you can endlessly regenerate his blood essence, then-"
"Not endless." Davis corrected him, "There’s a limit to how many times one could regenerate blood or soul essence that have already been healed by the same foreign power due to mysterious and indecipherable karmic aspects. Still, the reason I don’t want to give you blood essence is that it could be used to track Celestia. Am I wrong?"
"..." Rath Heavenshade was stumped, "I promise I didn’t have such intentions."
"I know you don’t. That’s why I’m still talking."
Davis smiled, "Now then, that’s the end of it. Perhaps if you can find another King-Tier Five-Clawed Imperial Dragon, I will be able to help you. Our galaxy doesn’t have a problem with killing and enslaving the beings of other galaxies, no matter the reason, right?"
"That’s right." Rath Heavenshade nodded, "The other galaxies, except the Divine Phoenix Galaxy and the Seraphim Galaxy, are all hostile to us, but that doesn’t mean their denizens will not kill and enslave us at a heartbeat, so it’s wise to make the first move instead."
"Seraphim Galaxy?" Davis raised his brows.
Wasn’t the Seraphim Galaxy the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy before? Did they actually have two galaxies in their command?
Davis asked, but Heavenshade shook his head.
"I’m not sure. But the current Seraphim Galaxy is one of the eight galaxies. The Celestial Spirits and the myriad of races there worship the Seraphim Race, so they are de facto rulers of that galaxy. Other than that, the Seraphims are small in numbers, so I don’t think their influence extends beyond their own Greater Realm. Their Upper Realms and Lower Realms should be quite wild and chaotic."
Rath Heavenshade smilingly shook his head before his face lit up, "Actually, I have seen a few Seraphims here. They are extremely powerful."
"What!?"
Tia and the others were flabbergasted. Davis was also surprised.
Their hearts churned. If they weren’t heading to support Isabella and the others, they would surely be excited to find these Seraphims.
They were said to be heaven’s chosen race, after all. They had to see just what kind of majestic appearance and temperament they had.
Suddenly, Rath Heavenshade gave an odd look at Evelynn.
Davis was about to ask just who and all were in this Shard Region, but he also noticed Rath Heavenshade’s gaze.
"What’s up? You find my first wife beautiful?" He asked, his voice probing.
"No, no, no..." Rath Heavenshade raised his hand and shook, "Lady Evelynn is indeed beautiful, but I noticed something peculiar about her that connects to another hooded woman I have seen from a distance. When she attacked, the enemy was sealed and exploded as her forehead shone with a blue light and crimson light, which is a technique I imagine that comes from Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnids. If I’m not wrong, she was traveling with the Seraphims."
"Oh?" Davis and the others raised their brows.
They instantly figured it must be Viridia.
"Was there another hooded man with her?"
"I think so. Those two feys were traversing with the Seraphim group. They were so powerful, managing to take down a massive threat a month ago. It was a colossal lifeform, the Space Swallowing Heavenly Whale, a Realm Calamity. When it opens its massive mouth that spans over hundreds of kilometers, all lifeforms in front of it would have no choice but to flee!"
"...!"
Davis and the others knew exactly what it was.
Since it was a Realm Calamity, as long as it grew to the Peak of the Exalt Stage, it was capable of swallowing an entire Upper Realm, as long as it took millions of years to eat it. It was not an imminent threat, but still a threat nevertheless, since its devouring power was off the charts. Once caught within the suction of its mouth, even a powerful Exalt could forget about leaving and become trapped in an endless realm of space within its body.
Tia, Evelynn, and Myria looked at each other with raised brows.
For Azariel and Viridia to have hunted down this Realm Calamity, they guessed they must have wanted to feed it to Stella upon their return.
After all, the Space Swallowing Heavenly Whale’s corpse was extremely useful to a Void Dust Tree. The benefits should be heavenly. Other than the boost to her abilities, the energy contained within it might even allow her to cross a cycle instantly, even while considering her massive energy reserves!
"Are they from a Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan from another galaxy? In that case, I think this information should be helpful to you."
Rath Heavenshade offered the information with no strings attached. It appeared like he wanted to form a good trade relationship while here.
Davis walked towards him, his expression unreadable.
"..." Rath Heavenshade wondered if he had offended him earlier.
However, Davis placed a hand on his shoulder and nodded, "I owe you one. Where were they last seen? Can you take me to them or the place you’ve last seen them?"
"..." Rath Heavenshade was dumbfounded, but he nodded, "Of course, they should still be somewhere in this Shard Region, as we got the entrance and exits of this Shard Region monitored."
"Great."
Davis felt truly thankful. If he had hurried, he might’ve missed Azariel and Viridia here. Fortunately, Rath Heavenshade was perceptive and had information on his children. He was grateful for this coincidence.
Furthermore, he couldn’t help but feel some pride.
It seemed like Azariel and Viridia already had their own great stories to tell, for them to have hunted down a big predator like that. As far as he knew, the Space Swallowing Heavenly Whale was not an easy target to kill even for supreme geniuses.
"Also, I think we should hurry since the Space Swallowing Heavenly Whale was a giant lifeform that anyone in this Shard Region could see from where they are standing. Perhaps it is the strangeness of the space here that allowed us to see it no matter where it was. Regardless, everyone witnessed and knows that they have hunted down the Space Swallowing Heavenly Whale, so they’re probably hunting them as we speak, especially the spirits from the True Void Galaxy and Atlas Family from the Void Autarch Upper Realm."
"Oh, that’s interesting..."
Davis’s lips curled into an amused smile.
They wanted to hunt Azariel and Viridia? He wondered what kind of trail of corpses they left behind in their path.
