Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!
Chapter 781: The Script of Titan and Fallen Angel
And it was almost at that very moment.
"Not good—!"
The Godweaver Head's pupils instantly dilated. She recognized the music box in the Fallen Angel's hand almost immediately and shouted urgently:
"Watch out for that music box—the old man and I encountered one in the Wasteland before—don't listen to the sound of that music box—"
And under this urgent warning.
Countless tentacles burst forth from beneath her neck in an instant, without any hesitation hurtling toward the fallen angel in an attempt to stop her actions.
The Colossus's Brain also reacted in that same instant, her petite body transforming into a streak of crimson lightning, shooting toward the music box in the Fallen Angel's hand with unimaginable speed.
But everything was already too late.
The Fallen Angel's gaze suddenly turned savage.
She leaped backward violently, her wings flaring wildly behind her, and the music box in her hand was activated in that very instant."Too late!"
In a flash.
The mysterious mechanical clown's eyes within the music box glowed with a faint red light. Accompanied by a crisp clicking sound of a winding key, it suddenly revealed a bizarre expression that was neither a smile nor a cry, its two mechanical arms beginning to tap rhythmically.
Almost in that instant, waves of melodious and pleasant music began to emanate from the music box.
"Ting-ting—ting-ting—"
Extremely crisp. Extremely ethereal.
Yet although it was an utterly pleasing sound, the moment it rang out in that silent hall, the Godweaver Head's expression changed drastically.
And almost at the same time, whispers of laughter and weeping seemed to echo through the minds of every living being present.
The first to be affected was the silver-haired girl. Almost the moment that pleasant melody sounded, her pupils suddenly went vacant. The chains wrapped around her body glowed red in the music, then abruptly pierced into the ground, forcibly binding and suppressing her petite form in place.
Crimson currents surged through her entire body, and the agonizing pain of being split apart flooded over her like a tidal wave.
She threw her head back and let out a piercing, prolonged shriek.
This was the melody of Curse Deepening!
A torture straight from the most horrifying depths of hell!
"Ahahaha—haha—"
Even the Godweaver Head could not escape the influence of the melody. Her eyes blazed with intense red light, her expression rapidly shifting from urgency toward the edge of madness, her mouth twisting into a manic grin as chaos churned endlessly in her gaze. The pathological malice was practically about to burst forth.
As for Sir Aiwen, his rank restrictions caused his mind to go completely blank in an instant. He stood there in a daze, his memories beginning to drain away at an inconceivable speed.
"D-damn it—"
The Godweaver Head's eyes flickered wildly between chaos and clarity, her gaze nearly insane. With the last shred of reason, her countless tentacles lashed out uncontrollably, striking the Fallen Angel's body with savage force. The music box fell from her hand and clattered to the ground, but the melody continued to reverberate throughout the hall.
Still, it was impossible to stop the maddening interference the melody inflicted upon them all.
Meanwhile, the quill at the center of the anomaly immediately began scribbling at an unimaginable speed.
[The melody of the music box has deepened the curses of all living beings present. The Fallen Angel originally intended to take this opportunity to repair and activate the Magic Circle, but the immense rage and the deeper malice brought upon her by the curse's amplification changed her mind. She has decided to charge out of this temple and personally unleash her revenge and slaughter across all of Nightfall City.]
[She did not continue using the music box's Authority to suppress those Root-level entities. Whether intentional or not, at this very moment, she indeed did not do so!]
The quill wrote on without pause, continuously reinforcing that logical point, forcibly steering her course.
And as its Authority deepened.
The text on the parchment grew increasingly blood-red, even seeming to come alive as it began to subtly spread.
And just as it had written.
In the underground hall, with the music box knocked from her hand and falling to the ground, the anger and malice in the Fallen Angel's eyes deepened further. She seemed to subconsciously ignore the music box. Her massive wings suddenly spread wide, and without any hesitation, she flew toward the passageway leading to the outside.
At this moment, her mind was consumed by the urge to vent her bloodlust and destructive impulses. And this very obsession, this fury, also made her subconsciously abandon the thought of restarting the Magic Circle.
"Every living thing in this city will die, and I will make you watch it happen with your own eyes, make you understand just how foolish your actions truly are!"
Her behavior had been forcibly redirected at the subconscious level.
She didn't even notice it herself.
In an instant.
With rolling gales, her enormous wings beat powerfully as she charged madly out of the hall, wreathed in black mist.
Out in the plaza above, all the Night Doctors wore pallid faces. From deep within the entrance to the underground hall, that sinister and terrifying aura grew heavier and heavier, as if something utterly dreadful was surging toward them.
[The Fallen Angel remains consumed by rage. Though she briefly felt confusion about her own actions, she was quickly dominated by the malice and bloodlust within her heart, causing her to accelerate her departure from that hall, intending to bathe the entire city in blood with even greater ferocity.]
[And at the helipad outside the city, the Titan Giant God, who had fallen into slumber due to the curse, has finally begun to show signs of awakening after sensing the peril his wife and daughter now face. Having detected the ominous presence within Nightfall City, his battle with the Fallen Angel will soon erupt in this very capital of the Night Doctors!]
The quill wrote at breakneck speed.
And even the entire room it occupied was faintly stirring with crimson breezes.
There was no doubt about it—it was trying to lure the Fallen Angel out of the range of her Authority, then use the Titan Giant God outside the city to provoke this great battle, ending this Cataclysm with the power of a Titan.
And as it wrote.
Outside the city, the Titan Head, who had been snoring like thunder, gradually grew still. His brow slowly furrowed, his eyelids twitching slightly.
A terrifying, violent power radiated from him even in sleep, causing numerous warships around him to explode in crackling bursts of electricity.
Meanwhile, White Night atop the High Tower could see the commotion outside the city from afar.
His face was deathly pale.
"N-no... this is bad..."
He vaguely sensed something was wrong. The tower beneath his feet rumbled and trembled, and that dark force from the underground temple seemed to be steadily surging toward the surface. Though he didn't know what it was, even a fool could figure it out now—it had to be some terrifying entity that Sir Aiwen and the others were fighting against!
And that Titan Head outside the city also seemed to be awakening.
If this became a war...
He spun around wildly, gazing out at the colossal city standing beneath the night sky, his entire body trembling and pale.
