Lynn stiffened.

Although he had no idea why Little One would say something so utterly mind-boggling in such an adorable tone, it was clear that trying to find a solution from her was as reliable as expecting a little girl to save the world.

Lynn shook his head violently, casting aside all that exasperating frustration. Because there was no longer any need for hesitation.

“Crushed is crushed, it’s fine—we have other solutions!”

In that moment.

Lynn snapped back to calm, gritted his teeth, and decisively pulled out the skill enhancement scroll he had been saving from his System Space. Sure enough, his earlier decision to hold onto this had been incredibly wise. If he hadn’t been smart enough to keep this card in his pocket, he would be completely at the mercy of fate right now!

“Use! Limited-Time Curse Removal!”

In an instant.

Lynn crushed the scroll in his hand. As blinding silver light erupted, the fragments dissolved into countless streams of radiance that surged into his body. His ears immediately rang with the System’s notification.

[Ding! You have used an Enhancement Scroll on your ability “Limited-Time Curse Removal Ability.” Your Limited-Time Curse Removal Ability has reached +3.]

[Limited-Time Curse Removal +3]: You can temporarily remove curses attached to a target. Number of uses increased to 4, duration increased to 26 hours, cooldown remains 13 hours.

Finally.

As the silver light converged, he had gained the boost needed for a fourth use.

In that moment.

Without any more hesitation, Lynn gritted his teeth and slammed all five of his tentacles onto the ground.

“Limited-Time Curse Removal! Activate!”

Whoosh—

Blinding white light exploded from him, spreading outward across the Godweaver Head’s entire body. After everything he had been through, after all the growth he had achieved, he was no longer like before—passing out from mental exhaustion after using the removal ability on a Root-level entity. This was thanks not only to his vastly improved Constitution and mental energy but also to the continuous enhancement of this skill.

In an instant.

As the silver radiance enveloped her, the long, chaotic tentacles that had been randomly stabbing at the puppets on the ground froze stiffly.

As the silver light completely covered the Godweaver Head.

Lynn heard the System’s notification.

[Ding! You have removed 35% of the curse from the target Godweaver Head!]

A wave of dizziness and stars clouded his vision, and his mental energy plummeted sharply. But Lynn knew the result was gratifying. For a Root-level powerhouse like Wushen Auntie, even a partial curse removal would definitely allow her clarity to overwhelm the chaos in her mind, freeing her from her madness.

“Mommy—!”

Little One jumped down from the Godweaver Head’s tentacles in curious surprise, gazing up at her mother as she gradually emerged from the silver glow.

Slowly.

Those massive, malice-filled eyes grew hazy, the crimson hue in them fading away.

Gradually.

As the wild tentacles retracted, her gaze drifted blankly toward Little One on the ground.

“Daughter?”

Little One’s eyes instantly lit up (✪ω✪) as she rushed forward, extending her long tentacles to embrace the Godweaver Head, looking up and saying:

“Mommy—finally—you’re back—”

Still that innocent voice.

The Godweaver Head blinked her dry eyes forcefully, her expression clearly dazed. But when her gaze fell on Lynn, who was clutching his head and panting on the tentacles, her eyes snapped back to partial clarity.

“Lynn?! Why are you here?!”

Her eyes were filled with surprise.

Clearly, the memories from her chaotic period hadn’t fully returned yet.

Lynn immediately leaped down, looking up at the mountain-like Godweaver Head, breathing heavily:

“No time to explain, Auntie! How are you feeling now? Big Brother Titan has already joined the battlefield, but he’s still in a state of madness. We urgently need you to join us and help end this war once and for all!”

The Godweaver Head’s gaze swept over the countless puppets before her, and the memory of what she had just done flooded back to her. She rubbed her temples forcefully, grabbed one of the puppets, and said with a dazed expression:

“So the curse has already taken hold... I vaguely remember you calling out to me. I didn’t hurt you, did I? When I go mad, I’m a really bad woman.”

A hint of guilt flickered in her eyes.

Lynn shook his head quickly, adjusted his monocle, and said firmly, “Don’t worry, Auntie! Little One and I are both fine. You didn’t do anything to us!”

Little One nodded emphatically, (✪ω✪) leaning in, her two tentacles pressed together like she was praying: “But besides me and Doctor Brother—everything else got stabbed through though—”

“Ahahaha! Little One hit the nail on the head!”

Lynn burst out laughing, then immediately sobered up, adjusted his monocle seriously, and said: “But that joke is not funny!”

Clearly, with his mental energy depleted, the Clown Curse was making his behavior a bit erratic.

The Godweaver Head didn’t dwell on the topic. The dense tentacles on her hair slithered and writhed noisily, her eyes once again brimming with malice as she bared her sharp teeth, speaking viciously:

“Fine. I’ll apologize to them another time.”

“Now, son-in-law, you can tell me: Who bullied you? Did they make you suffer? Did they imprison and torment you cruelly? Don’t worry—Auntie will get your revenge for sure!”

Her tentacles pointed sinisterly at the row of puppets, each one larger than Lynn himself.

“Which one? Is it this one?”

She wrapped a tentacle around the massive, enraged Brain puppet, pulling out a knife to slice it up.

Lynn quickly stopped her, his eyes wide as he rushed over, urging his auntie to cool down. He pointed frantically at the mechanical dragon puppet not far away and said:

“No, no, no, Auntie! That’s Father-in-law’s puppet you’re holding! The one that bullied me is this one! Please don’t stab the wrong one!”

Ptoo—

The moment he finished speaking.

The forty-meter-long blade brushed past Lynn and plunged down with a wet thud, stabbing straight into the mechanical dragon puppet’s head. Lynn’s entire body bristled with shock.

Ptoo—Ptoo—Ptoo—

The knife kept rising and falling, like it was doing something bizarre, stabbing the puppet again and again, sending cotton fluff flying everywhere.

So brutal!

This was absolutely brutal!

The massive head’s expression twisted into a vicious, malevolent grin. Clearly, even in her lucid state, the instincts deep in her bones couldn’t just be changed overnight.

As she stabbed, her dense tentacles danced across the air, carving one terrifying, sinister rune after another into the void, crackling with evil and venomous energy. It was obvious that the Godweaver Head was preparing a host of even more vicious voodoo rituals.

She said darkly, “Pretty powerful, huh? Only a little weaker than the old man in his normal state. But his Origin seems to have been damaged, and his resistance to curses is significantly lower than other Root-levels. Looks like he’s not a deity dragged down from hell.”

“Since that’s the case... you’re really unlucky to run into me. Hehehehehe—”
