Chapter 267: Arriving On Time, If Not Sooner Than Needed!

Celia: “Sorry, sorry; I should have been here for this.” She said with a remorseful tone and expression.

Guanyu: “Regardless, you’ve returned sooner than any of us expected, Celia. There is no reason to feel so guilty.” She said with a coaxing, wifely tone, taking Celia’s hand and planting a kiss on the back of it.

Celia: “(/ />/ A /</ /)”

Everyone Else: “…”

Damn woman, always needing to make sure that we know who has Celia the most. It is just Celia’s luck that she is able to easily handle even the most yandere of women. How many of us aren’t yanderes? Hm… that might be a pointless thought exercise. To Mortals, the average Higher Being is ‘quirky’ at best, and terms from them cannot hope to properly describe us.

Anyway, Celia returned, with Aelia by her side. It would seem that her little extermination went well; although, the finale of that required her other self’s help. I didn’t bother to look in on it, either, as I’d prefer to not have my eyes and mind defiled. Upon returning, Celia snapped her fingers, using some of her Mana, Divinity, and Pure Mana to stabilize Home. But… where are the people we invited?…

Runeth: “Celia, did you pause the teleportation process?” She inquired with an unsure tone.

Celia: “Pause? No, I helped it finish.” She replied with a shrug.

Vulely: “…No one has arrived.” I added with a worried tone, not wanting to be responsible for a mass death event.

Celia: “Unfortunately, due to Home not being able to stay stable from so many teleportations, them all occurring at the same time…they ended up dying.” She nonchalantly answered.

Everyone: “( ? _ ? )”

Celia: “It’ll be fine, worry not! I made it in time to save their Souls, I simply need to remake their Vessels. Of course, they shouldn’t have felt their ends, so there isn’t any good reason to tell them about this. Isn’t that right, you all?” She clarified with a bright smile.

Thankfully, we’ll never die, which means…no one can reap us for the sin of killing literally every single (Humanoid) living being in existence. Recreating Vessels for the Mortals will be easy; however, the same cannot be said for the Higher Beings, who also got accidentally killed. Hopefully, this won’t cause the wedding to be delayed for too long.

Whoosh!

Celia: “The Mortals have arrived; do please mingle with them until the Higher Beings can make it here as well.” She suggested with a light tone, before walking off with Guanyu holding onto her arm.

Vulely: “…”

For the first time ever, Mortals set foot in Home. The maids (random residents of Home having fun, or maids that we already employed) tended to them; and some of the wives, family, friends, talked amongst the newcomers. Our wife is such a damn showoff, reviving the Mortals within seconds, as if doing such a thing is stupidly easy. Ah, it truly is possible to fall even more in love with Celia!
