Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!
Volume 10. Chapter 266: The Accidental Rumbling… (Chapter 1167)
Chapter 266: The Accidental Rumbling…
The entire planet shook…well, Home wasn’t a planetary place. If you took a flat-earther here, and didn’t tell them about it…they’d assume that they were right all along. Home is a long plane, flat in some areas, which is made from Divinity (and according to Celia, Pure Mana as well); so there aren’t any planets, solar systems, etc. No actually knows how, why, or when it came into existence, so most things about Home are still unexplored.
No one really cared to look into Home’s history, though. When the majority of those living here are…to put it in a better light, retired, there wasn’t any reason for them to do that. This Realm, Dimension, whatever you want to call it, is absolutely perfect, and was prior to Celia (practically) taking it over. It was already desirable, and is now even more so. Unfortunately, we overlooked this fact, and it would seem that literally every person that got an invitation…accepted it.
Mena: “Having our home be destroyed on the day of the wedding…is just absolutely horrible!” She exclaimed with a scared, as well as sad tone.
Vulely: “Don’t be so absurd, dear. The shaking won’t last forever.” I replied with a coaxing tone, rubbing my daughter’s head.
Mena: “…How do you know that for sure, Mom? This shaking is…if it happened on a planet like earth, it’d be ripped apart!!” She continued expressing her anxious, unnecessary fears, tears in her eyes.
Vulely: “( o_o)”
Why is my daughter being so dramatic? Look, Guanyu isn’t acting like anything bad will happen; she’s as calm as can be! While the shaking (can’t call it an earth or planet quake…) was loud, as if Home was inside of a tornado, felt like it as well, this couldn’t ever possibly be our end. For one, we could always just leave Home, if it was to be destroyed.
Mana and Divinity swirled in the air, a violent clash between those two differing, magical resources. We took into account what would happen when every person that was given the forced invitations would be teleported here; it would have gone just fine. Foolishly, we didn’t bother running the numbers on if everyone showed up…
Guanyu: “Mena, there is no reason to be afraid. Home is just currently being…incidentally assaulted, and isn’t in the process of unfolding on itself.” She said with a similarly coaxing and motherly tone, rare for her, so it was very effective on our daughter.
Mena: “O-okay. But…how long can it withstand this battle?” She asked with a (now) mostly curious tone.
Guanyu: “Hm…the shaking is annoying, but it could easily last several years like this. There is no immediate threat, is what I mean to say, dear Mena. Anyone with control over Pure Mana can fix this; Celia would be best at doing so. However, she is helping Aelia out at the moment.” She answered with a confident tone.
Mena: “( @ _ @ )”
