Building Interstellar Empire With Universal Synthesis
Chapter 289: Origin God
Chapter 289: Chapter 289: Origin God
The cracks of blinding white light spiderwebbing across Neo’s chest did not bleed blood. They bled raw, unshaped time and fragments of shattered cosmic laws. The sheer conceptual weight of a billion harvested Grand Realities, gathered across uncounted aeons by the roots of the tree, poured through the open doorway of his chest like a collapsing sky.
Inside his soul, the ten thousand foundational universes of Multiverse Prime groaned under an unimaginable tidal wave of foreign mass, while the newly assimilated realms of stasis and inversion spun at a frantic, terrifying velocity to keep the furnace walls from caving in.
?Around the bone balcony, his three wives fought with everything they possessed just to keep the peripheral currents from tearing the platform apart.
?Zestia’s crimson armor cracked along the pauldrons as she intercepted another descending pillar of compressed omniversal debris from the canopy above.
The blazing wheel of her spear slowed to a visible blur, each rotation requiring enough martial strength to lift a cluster of galaxies.
?"The density of this sludge is absurd!" Zestia roared over the deafening thunder of the chasm, "These are not hollow husks like the leaf we touched outside! Every drop in these waterfalls carries the full, crushing weight of an Omniverse at the exact peak of its existence! Hold your ground, Neo! If your furnace blows out now, I will never forgive you!"
?To the left, Noir sank to one knee on the petrified bone, her six midnight wings stretched wide like a battered sail against a cosmic hurricane. Her tide of primordial night was being pushed back inch by inch by the sheer volume of black entropy sap rushing from the lateral arteries. Dark blood trickled from the corner of her pale lips, yet her cynical smirk refused to fade.
?"My abyss was meant to swallow stars and gods, not the entire history of the Gigaverse at once," Noir gasped, her slender fingers clawing into the bone floor to keep from being swept away. "Whatever is buried at the bottom of those roots is starting to come up through the pipes, my love. I can feel the cold of the original dark pressing against my wings. Drink faster, husband, before your queens are drowned in the overflow!"
?Behind Neo, Moon did not speak aloud, for every ounce of her breath was dedicated to maintaining the silver mandalas of the heavenly Dao. Her pristine white robes were soaked in luminous sweat, and the petals of the silver lotus beneath her feet were fracturing one by one like delicate porcelain under a hammer.
Yet her glowing hands remained pressed firmly against Neo’s shoulder blades, acting as a spiritual lightning rod that distributed the maddening screams of the thousands of calcified Sovereigns safely into the floor beneath them.
?"Do not fight the weight of the billion realms as if they are foreign invaders, beloved. They are all shards of the same mirror. Look past their broken shapes. Look past the rot of the sap. Find the single thread from which they were all spun." Moon said.
?Neo heard her voice through the deafening roar of a quadrillion dying stars. His boots sank ankle-deep into the petrified bone as he gripped the hilt of the Sunbreaker Blade buried between his feet.
?Inside his Divine Crucible, the golden flames of Universal Synthesis were being smothered by the sheer, suffocating volume of the First Root’s treasury.
For the first time since his ascension, colliding opposing laws was not fast enough. For every two Grand Realities he smashed together to ignite a new spark of genesis, ten thousand more flooded through the breach, threatening to freeze his furnace into a solid block of dead, unmoving matter.
?From the center of the closed black lotus of singularities, the voice of the Consciousness thundered through the maelstrom.
?"You falter, Supreme Creator!" the Consciousness cried out,. "Your talent is magnificent, and your furnace is brighter than any Sovereign who ever walked my branches! Yet you are still using the laws of the shards to process the weight of the whole! Creation, stasis, inversion, and erasure are all children of the fracture! A child cannot swallow its own parent! Yield your pride before your soul shatters, and let me guide you gently into the dreamless sleep!"
?Neo gritted his teeth as another massive wave of black sap slammed into his chest, forcing him down to one knee beside his buried sword. His vision blurred as the memories of a billion strangers, a billion supreme architects who had built glorious kingdoms only to watch them turn to ash, flooded his mind.
He felt their despair. He felt their exhaustion. He felt the overwhelming temptation to simply close his eyes, let go of his identity, and allow everything to return to the quiet, painless perfection of the Unbroken Absolute.
?Then, amidst the sea of ancient despair, Neo looked down at the very bottom of the black torrent pouring from the roots.
?There, buried beneath aeons of harvested Omniverses and rivers of liquid erasure, he saw a single, microscopic scar of colorless light.
?It was not a law of magic. It was not a concept of time, space, life, or death. It was the first impulse. It was the silent, nameless heartbeat that had echoed within the Unbroken Absolute the moment before it decided to shatter itself. It was the urge to become.
?"Moon is right. I have been using Universal Synthesis to smash the branches together, trying to build a bigger fire out of dead wood. I was still treating creation and erasure as separate tools."
?Neo slowly rose back to his feet against the crushing weight of the billion realms. The cracks of white energy across his chest stopped spreading.
?"The Unbroken Absolute did not create the Gigaverse by dividing its mass. Mass is an illusion. Laws are merely costumes. Before there was wholeness, and before there was the fracture, there was the will that chose to transition from one to the other. That will is the true source of all existence."
?Inside his Divine Crucible, Neo stopped forcing the Seventh Omniverse and the Inverted Omniverse to collide. Instead, he opened his arms and commanded the golden flames of his furnace to dissolve themselves entirely.
He let go of his authority over fire, over starlight, over time, and even over the concept of synthesis as a separate act.
He stripped every law inside his soul down to that single, primordial impulse he had glimpsed at the bottom of the roots: the absolute authority to define the beginning of all things.
?The golden flames in his chest vanished. In their place, a singular point of transcendent, iridescent light ignited. It contained every color that had ever existed and every color that had yet to be born, yet it was as calm and clear as still water.
?It was the Origin Law.
?The moment that iridescent spark bloomed within Neo’s heart, the crushing tsunami of a billion dead Grand Realities ceased to be a burden.
To the Origin Law, a billion Omniverses and a single grain of sand held the exact same weight, because both were merely downstream echoes of the beginning.
?"What is that resonance? That is not the friction of the shards. That is not even the slumber of the Unbroken Absolute. That is the pulse that woke the Absolute in the first place! You have reached past the fracture and seized the Origin!"
?Neo placed both hands on the hilt of the Sunbreaker Blade and pulled it effortlessly from the petrified bone. The liquid metal of the sword no longer glowed with simple gold; it shone with the unfathomable, iridescent majesty of the Origin Law, humbling the very fabric of the Gigaverse around it.
?"You asked me to prove that my dawn could carry the weight of eternity, First Root. I will do more than carry it. I will give it a new beginning."
?Neo swung his blade in a single, sweeping arc across the chasm.
?He did not unleash an attack. He unleashed the Origin Law.
?A silent wave of iridescent light rippled outward from his sword, passing harmlessly through Noir, Zestia, and Moon. Where the wave touched his wives, their exhaustion vanished instantly, their wounds healing and their divine cores expanding as the touch of the Origin permanently elevated their authorities to a higher plane of existence.
?Then, the wave struck the converging ocean of black entropy sap.
?There was no clash, no friction, and no resistance. The black sap did not fight the Origin Law, because erasure could not oppose the very source that permitted the concept of an end to exist.
?In a single, breathtaking instant, the millions of titanic waterfalls of black sludge turned into roaring rivers of iridescent, primordial genesis. The suffocating cold of the chasm transformed into the warm, fragrant breath of the very first spring.
The surging tide reversed its course, rushing backward up the countless arteries of the trunk and flooding through the entire body of the Aeonic Gigaversal Tree.
?"Look at the walls!" Noir breathed, her six midnight wings lowering in awe as she watched the transformation.
?As the iridescent tide of the Origin Law swept through the trunk and out into the colossal branches, the petrified bark woven from fossilized timelines and screaming Sovereigns dissolved like morning frost under a rising sun. The thousands of trapped Supreme Creators did not dissolve into mindless fuel.
Washed by the Origin Law, their broken egos were healed, their stolen omniversal sparks were restored, and they were lifted out of the wood as radiant constellations of living gods, bowing their heads toward the center of the trunk in eternal gratitude before ascending into the canopy.
?Outside in the boundless expanse of the Gigaverse, the terrifying monolith that had eclipsed the cosmos underwent an apotheosis. The dead, gray wood of its infinite trunk transformed into living, translucent crystal veined with flowing rivers of rainbow starlight.
The jagged branches smoothed into sweeping celestial highways that connected the distant sectors of the ocean.
?And across the endless canopy, the millions of withered, gray husks of the dead Omniverses drank the surging sap of the Origin Law. One by one, and then all at once, a billion dead Grand Realities burst back into glorious life.
Their internal multiverses ignited with brand-new stars, fresh timelines, and limitless potential, turning the dark predator of the abyss into a blazing, unfathomable Tree of Eternal Origin that illuminated the entire Gigaverse.
?Inside the central chamber, the dark lotus of singularities opened one final time before dissolving into harmless motes of light. The misty figure of the Consciousness floated down before the balcony, its form now radiant and whole, no longer burdened by the sorrow of unmaking.
?"For uncounted aeons, I guarded the ashes of the past, believing that the only way to save existence was to end it," the Consciousness said, sinking to its knees in profound reverence before Neo. "You have shown me that the beginning is not a memory behind us, but an eternal law before us.
My vigil is finished. Hail to you, Neo, the Sovereign of the First Spark.
Hail to the God of Origin."
