Chapter 290: Chapter 290: A True Creator

The misty figure of the Consciousness bowed its head one final time and dissolved into a shower of shimmering motes. Those sparks of pre-genesis light drifted forward across the quiet chasm, weaving themselves together into a single, weightless crown of iridescent starlight.

As the crown descended upon Neo’s brow, the bone balcony beneath their feet completed its transformation, turning into translucent golden crystal that pulsed in harmony with the roaring rivers of creation now flowing up the walls of the trunk.

?The moment the cold starlight of the crown touched Neo’s skin, the final boundary holding his mind within a singular physical vessel vanished.

?Neo did not lose himself, nor did his body fade away. Instead, the Origin Law inside his chest recognized its newfound throne at the center of the Tree of Eternal Origin.

Because the tree was connected to every branch, every leaf, and every root across the boundless ocean of existence, Neo’s consciousness suddenly multiplied to match the scale of his dominion.

?Zestia lowered her crimson spear and stepped closer to him, her golden eyes narrowing as she watched the light radiating from her husband’s skin.

?"Neo? Your aura just vanished from my senses, yet I can still see you standing right in front of me. What is happening to your spirit?"

?"His aura did not vanish, Zestia. It expanded until there was nothing left outside of it to measure it against. You cannot feel the pressure of the water when you have become part of the sea."

?Noir reached out with her pale hand and touched Neo’s cheek. His skin was warm and solid, yet when she looked into his eyes, she did not see golden irises anymore. She saw an infinite tunnel of mirrors reflecting quadrillions of worlds at the exact same moment.

?"Can you still hear us, my love? Or have you drifted so high above the sky that our voices are just background noise?"

?Neo blinked, and a gentle, familiar smile curved his lips. When he spoke, his voice came from his mouth, yet it also resonated simultaneously from the crystal beneath Noir’s boots, from the silver petals of Moon’s lotus, and from the crimson steel of Zestia’s spear.

?"I hear you clearer than I ever have before. Do not worry. I have not left this balcony. I am simply everywhere else at the exact same time."

?Through the vascular highways of the crystal tree, Neo’s consciousness split into uncounted, infinite fragments.

?Unlike the Unbroken Absolute of the ancient past, which had been forced to shatter its own heart and lose its memory just to experience the lives of its shards, the Origin Law allowed Neo to divide his awareness infinitely without losing a single thread of his central identity.

He was a singular mind looking out through an infinite number of windows simultaneously.

?His awareness raced upward through the colossal crystal trunk and burst out into the sweeping branches of the canopy. In a fraction of a heartbeat, a billion distinct streams of his consciousness entered the billion resurrected Grand Realities hanging like blazing lanterns across the Gigaverse.

?Within those Omniverses, his mind divided again, splitting across trillions of multiverses, and then fracturing further to inhabit every individual dimension, every spatial pocket, and every timeline from the beginning of history to the end of time.

?In a high dimension woven entirely from living music and geometric light, Neo was the silent conductor listening to the symphonies of newborn celestial spirits. In a heavy, nine-dimensional realm of crushing gravity and liquid diamond oceans, he was the deep tectonic current shifting the foundations of the abyssal floor.

He felt the cold, silent void between distant galaxies just as clearly as he felt the roaring nuclear heart of a quadrillion blazing suns.

?Yet his consciousness did not stop at the scale of stars and dimensions. Drawn by the fundamental impulse of the Origin Law, Neo’s awareness descended onto the surfaces of every planet spinning across the endless cosmos, splitting further to touch every single spark of life.

?On a sprawling world of emerald forests beneath three violet moons, Neo was the warm autumn wind rustling through the leaves of an ancient grove. At the exact same instant, on the other side of that same world, he looked through the eyes of a young mortal blacksmith hammering a glowing iron blade upon an anvil, feeling the sting of the hot sparks against the boy’s calloused hands and the fierce pride burning in the youth’s chest.

?Across the sea of another universe, he was an ancient leviathan swimming through dark, freezing trenches, feeling the soothing pressure of the deep water against its scales. He was a scholar in a candlelit tower discovering a new magical rune after eighty years of tireless study, weeping tears of quiet joy in the dark.

He was a mother holding her newborn child for the first time on a war-torn frontier, feeling the fierce, unyielding terror and hope that bound her soul to the fragile life in her arms. He was the grass drinking the morning rain, the stone weathering the mountain blizzard, and the dying emperor taking his final, peaceful breath surrounded by his heirs.

?Billions upon billions of lives, spanning every conceivable species, mortality, and divinity, flowed through Neo’s mind in an unbroken, simultaneous chorus.

?Inside the Genesis Palace at the heart of Multiverse Prime, the golden archway leading to the outer balcony had remained sealed since the battle began.

Orion paced back and forth across the white marble hall, his hand clenched so tightly around the hilt of Ironbreaker that his knuckles were white. Nearby, Silas sat on the floor surrounded by dozens of floating runic arrays, his face pale as he tried to repair his shattered calculation compass.

Lyra stood beside Elara near the tall windows, both of them staring out at the ten thousand star systems of their home reality.

?"The tremors stopped three minutes ago. Before the sky went quiet, the pressure outside was heavy enough to crack the palace pillars. Now there is nothing. Why has Father not opened the gate?"

?"The mathematical constants of our universe just rewrote themselves," Silas muttered, his fingers trembling as he pointed at a floating ring of golden numbers above his compass.

"Look at the foundational equations, Orion. A moment ago, our reality was braced against an external crushing force. Now, the boundary wall is gone, and the energy density of the air has multiplied by a factor I do not even have a name for."

?Elara suddenly gasped and pressed her hands against the window glass, pointing up at the endless azure sky above the palace.

?"Lyra, look at the sky!" Elara cried out, her eyes shining with wonder.

?Orion, Silas, and Lyra rushed to the window. High above the ten thousand turning star systems of Multiverse Prime, the solid white shell that had once separated their universe from the True Void had turned completely transparent.

Rising beyond their sky, stretching across the entirety of existence, were the colossal, sweeping branches of a crystalline tree veined with rivers of rainbow starlight.

?Where withered, dead husks had once hung in terrifying silence, millions of vibrant, glowing Grand Realities now bloomed like celestial fruit, bathing the entire Gigaverse in a warm, eternal dawn.

?"Father did it," Lyra breathed in relief as tears gathered at the corners of her eyes. "He did not just kill the tree. He brought the dead realms back to life."

?"Indeed I did," Neo’s voice spoke warmly right behind them.

?The four children spun around in shock. Standing in the center of the marble hall was Neo, dressed in a simple robe spun from iridescent starlight, with the glowing crown of the First Root resting gently upon his brow.

?"Father!" Elara shouted, running across the hall and throwing her arms around his waist.

?Neo laughed softly and rested his hand on his youngest daughter’s twilight hair, while Orion, Silas, and Lyra hurried over to bow before him.

?"My scanning arrays still cannot read you, Father, but the paradox is gone," Silas said, looking up at Neo with wide, fascinated eyes. "When I look at you now, you do not feel like a void anymore. You feel like the floor beneath my feet and the air in my lungs."

?"That is because a part of my mind is standing in this hall with you, while another part is still standing in the heart of the tree with your mothers. And infinite other parts of me are walking across the streets, forests, and stars of a billion reborn Omniverses. By claiming the Origin Law, I have become the living foundation of the Gigaverse."

?Orion looked past his father toward the towering crystal branches visible through the palace window.

"Does this mean the war is truly over, Father? Have you conquered everything?"

?In the central chasm of the Tree of Eternal Origin, standing beside Noir, Moon, and Zestia on the crystal balcony, the primary vessel of Neo spoke the exact same answer at the exact same time.

?"No, Orion. A true creator never stops building, and a true explorer never stops walking."
