"Let’s just forget about meeting. After all, I can’t provide much help. However, I can give you the ingredients for the Awakening Potion and Purification Potion. Whether or not you can find the raw materials or substitutes is none of my business."

When he first heard Moira Lynch’s refusal, Mark Rhodes thought, ’As expected. How could anyone casually give away the formulas for something as important as the Awakening Potion and Purification Potion?’

Then, Moira Lynch’s next words sent his emotions on a roller coaster ride.

"Are you really willing to give us the formulas for both potions?" Mark Rhodes asked again to confirm.

Moira Lynch nodded. "I can give them to you, but to avoid exposing our identities, I’ll give you the formulas before we leave."

Mark Rhodes could understand. At worst, it just meant waiting a few more days.

While Moira Lynch, Shane Rhodes, Kai York, and Hugh Finch were adapting well to their new environment, things at Dawnlight Base were not going so well.

Without Moira Lynch, the place where she used to hold her consultations was swarmed by angry protesters.

Feeling deceived, they angrily tracked down Moira Lynch and Shane Rhodes’s residence. After trashing the place in a rage, they stormed the Base Commander’s home. The massive, intimidating protest was enough to make anyone’s heart race.

Everyone was shouting for the Base Commander to hand over Moira Lynch to treat them.

However, the Base Commander was completely bewildered by the sea of people. ’Moira Lynch? Hasn’t she been at the base this whole time? How could she be gone?’

After asking those around him, he learned that someone had tried to cut in line for treatment the day before. When stopped, the person had thrown a tantrum on the ground and even verbally threatened Moira Lynch.

"Something like this happened, and no one stepped in to stop it?" the Base Commander raged.

’Are these people idiots? Moira Lynch is our base’s cash cow! Do they think she’s some ordinary person they can just push around?’

The Base Commander’s expression turned ugly. He wasn’t blind to their motives. They were just trying to test Moira Lynch’s limits and force her to compromise. After all, one hundred Crystal Cores was still too expensive for an ordinary person.

Their ideal price was like that Miss White’s—free was best.

In their eyes, only then would she be considered a qualified healer worthy of their respect.

Clearly, they had picked a fight with the wrong person this time.

If Moira Lynch knew what these people were really thinking, she would surely regret her decision from a few days ago. What a bunch of ungrateful wretches.

"Find her! Send people to find her immediately! No matter the cost, you must bring Moira Lynch back to me!" the Base Commander roared.

He had spent the last few days showing off in front of the other base commanders, all thanks to Moira Lynch. He had even gotten them to send injured Superpower Users from their own bases to him for treatment, and he had already collected the benefits.

That was why the Base Commander was so desperate to find Moira Lynch and bring her back.

「Meanwhile, at the Western Base」

Moira Lynch didn’t know the exact impact her departure would have on Dawnlight Base, but she could guess the gist of it.

After the incident at Dawnlight Base, Moira Lynch felt that collecting Crystal Cores by treating people was a bit too slow. It would be much faster to sell the medicine directly.

Of course, that didn’t mean she would stop saving people altogether. She would still save those who needed saving; she just wouldn’t be saving just anyone anymore.

「The next day, the twelfth day of the game.」

First thing in the morning, Mark Rhodes arrived with his men, bringing everything Moira Lynch had requested.

They had learned that this world’s developmental trajectory was similar to Caelus’s, so they didn’t need any weapons. This time, Mark Rhodes delivered a large quantity of positively mutated plants and animals, as well as a large number of Crystal Cores.

"These Crystal Cores are from the base for Miss Lynn to recover her energy."

Apparently, Mark Rhodes had taken Moira Lynch’s words from yesterday to heart.

Moira Lynch appreciated his proactive attitude.

Shane Rhodes walked up to a wilted plant. "This looks like an orchid. Why does it look like it’s about to die?"

Hearing this, Mark Rhodes explained, "It is indeed an orchid. According to our research, when this orchid is in full bloom, it can keep nearby food from spoiling. We just don’t know why it hasn’t bloomed again since the first time its flowers withered."

It wasn’t just the orchid; most of the other plants were the same, looking half-dead.

Moira Lynch glanced at the orchid and said, "It’s malnourished. It’s barely surviving, so of course it won’t bloom. Didn’t you fertilize them?"

"I don’t think so. We hired a dedicated Wood Ability User to care for these plants."

"I’m talking about fertilizing with Crystal Cores," Moira Lynch explained. The fertilizer needed by mutated plants is definitely different from that of ordinary plants.

As she spoke, she picked a Water Element Crystal Core from a pile, applied a bit of pressure with her palm, and with a CRACK, the Crystal Core in her hand shattered.

She slowly sprinkled the white crystal fragments into the orchid’s pot.

Almost instantly, the Crystal Core fragments in the pot were absorbed by the orchid. With enough nutrients, the entire orchid straightened up considerably.

Mark Rhodes watched this scene and exclaimed in amazement, "I never thought Crystal Cores could be used like this."

After Mark Rhodes left with the one thousand Awakening Potions and one thousand Purification Potions, Moira Lynch and the others began to organize and pack up the things in the courtyard so they could take them when they left.

"I get the Crystal Cores, but Moira, why are you collecting so many plants? You can’t even eat them," Kai York said, confused.

From what he knew of Moira Lynch, she should only be interested in plants that were edible or had medicinal value.

"That’s where you’re wrong. These positively mutated plants fetch a very high price in the interstellar market.

Besides, it’s easier to cultivate new species from positively mutated plants. This stuff is all good."

Shane Rhodes glanced at her and said, "Even if it’s good stuff, this is way too much. We have a limited number of Space Buttons, and this is just the first batch. How do you plan to take it all with you?"

"I’ve already thought about that. I plan to use my Space Talent to open a Subspace. The last time was too rushed, which is why all those problems occurred. This time, I’ll reinforce the Subspace. It should hold up until we leave the game without any issues.

Besides, practice makes perfect. With the experience from the first time, the second time will be much easier."

"As long as you have a plan. Also, I heard from Mark Rhodes that someone found a plant in the forest that can grow five ears of grain and brought back a sample.

But the sample wasn’t mature yet, so it couldn’t be cultivated or planted. They decided to go back in a few days. Should we go with them and check it out?"

"Of course, we’re going," Kai York said without hesitation. "Five-Grain Rice—just from the name, you know it’s gotta be good stuff."
