Ancient Tears BloodLine
Chapter 1695: Part 2: 8th Opponent (2nd Challenge)
Night Cell Tower
Luke didn’t know what was going on, but he had some guesses seeing that Zack Lockwood was in the middle of practicing.
He understood that the young man was using the opportunity to train. Luke didn’t know what made him think that, but he made a decision to help the young man.
He understood that if the young man wanted him dead, it would be an easy thing to do. He was getting a terrible sense of crisis.
He had gotten such a sense of crisis from the Quasi-Gods before, but the young man before him was clearly a Red Mark Warrior.
It didn’t take long for him to figure out the reason. The young man had multiple inheritances. That was why he gave off such a threat.
As time went by, the silver arrows were causing terrible injuries to my body. I constantly circulated the ancient healing technique in my body.
The healing force power reacted to the wounds, trying to heal them. On the other hand, I was also waiting to get some inspiration.
At this time, I also got a good understanding of the current strength of my body. After taking so many hits from the sharp silver arrows, I was yet to be grievously injured.
I looked toward Luke and told him to use another element.
Luke heard the request and was dumbfounded. He saw that Zack Lockwood was already doing fine. He understood his intention of getting hurt, so he started using the golden element.
Boom!
A golden ball shot at my body. Seeing that, I got ready to face it. I didn’t evade. In the blink of an eye, the rock-like ball struck my body.
Boom!
The next second, I felt terrible pain. If any average Red Mark Warrior were to face this golden ball, their bones would have been broken and their internals would have been hurt.
But here, my thick layer of flesh took the brunt of the attack.
"What was that?" Luke asked himself.
He had never seen his golden ball attack fail. He was scared right now. He had resigned to his fate earlier.
Now he was looking at the true horror of the young man. He then continued to shoot golden balls at Zack Lockwood one after another.
Swoosh!
The golden balls rushed towards Zack Lockwood one after another.
Boom!
I faced the hits one after another. It didn’t take long for wounds to appear on my body. It started hurting me badly.
Meanwhile, blood was bleeding from the previous wounds. I looked totally bloodied right now.
I was waiting for the tree healing rune in my mind to become stronger, but it was taking longer than I had thought.
On the other hand, Luke saw the bloodied body of the young Red Mark Warrior. He was extremely scared. If it were anyone else, they would have taken the opportunity to kill their opponent.
But he knew that the young man was observing his movements from the beginning. If he had shown different intentions to the young man, he would have died on the spot.
So he continued to help the young man practice his technique. At this point, he figured out that it was some kind of technique.
He saw that the old wounds on Zack Lockwood’s body were actually healing. He was shocked to figure out that it was a healing technique.
"How many elements does he have?" Luke asked himself.
Time passed.
The old wounds were healed, but blood was bleeding from the new wounds. If it continued, I would lose more blood.
So I told Luke to take a break. He had consumed a lot of inheritance force as well. I took this opportunity to spend time understanding the ancient healing technique.
I sat cross-legged on the ground right then and there. I told the ancient spirit to keep an eye on Luke. If he had a change of heart, I would kill him.
Luke was dumbfounded. He hadn’t done anything against Zack Lockwood. He took this opportunity to recover his strength as well.
Time went by.
The bleeding stopped as I focused on healing. I wanted to gain a better understanding of the ancient healing technique.
It didn’t take long for Luke to recover his strength. He stood up and turned toward Zack Lockwood.
His face showed a serious expression. He couldn’t recall seeing anyone like him in his life.
"The young man is a serious threat against the foreign creatures. If he were to appear in the sky battlefield, the foreign creatures would be trembling," Luke said to himself.
"But I hope he won’t fall before that," Luke added.
Next, he shook his head. Most importantly, he didn’t want the young man to end up in his state.
Most of the good warriors had fallen into a trap and were locked up inside the tower.
On the other hand, I opened my eyes after some time. It was time to use the ancient healing technique.
I stood up and looked around the place. All the bleeding in my body had stopped. I looked toward Warrior Luke.
I had never faced such fast-moving metal arrows and strong golden rocks before. The Silver Element and Golden Element Warriors back in the University were nowhere near his level.
Even the Elders of the same faction were weaker than Warrior Luke. During my fighting session with him, I confirmed the fact that he was not bad in nature.
Warrior Luke might have been falsely accused and locked up inside the prison here.
"He is a good warrior. More than the training here, you were able to learn secrets of the world in the night cell tower," the ancient spirit said.
"If possible, try to learn more from him. Especially, get the names of those people; it would be useful to you," the ancient spirit added.
Hearing that, I felt it was the right thing to do.
"Warrior Luke, if possible, can you tell me who wronged you?" I asked him.
Luke was taken aback. He didn’t expect Warrior Zack Lockwood to speak to him all of a sudden.
He knew that Zack wanted more information.
He said, "It’s not good for you to know too many things. But I urge you to become a Quasi-God first. Then you will have more protection."
His face showed seriousness when he said those words.
Hearing that, I was quiet. I didn’t know why I had this feeling that it wasn’t good to know the names right now.
