Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things
Chapter 487 - 244: Holy Land Qualification Battle
Chapter 487: Chapter 244: Holy Land Qualification Battle
Time flew.
In the blink of an eye, a year had passed.
Back from another Blood War, Pei Ze had just returned to the Pallid Bone Inn and was preparing to enter the Thunder Elemental Plane to condense the Power of Rules when he received a message from Annie.
"Has the Divine Blood been extracted?"
Pei Ze turned around and left Broken Domain Town again, heading for the designated meeting spot.
Over the past year, he had poured all his energy into increasing his strength, either condensing the Power of Rules in the Thunder Elemental Plane or participating in the Blood Wars on the first layer of Hell.
Although the rate of his soul fusion had slowed considerably, it was still increasing steadily.
It had now reached 96.29%, just a step away from the 100% breakthrough point.
’At most, another four or five months, and I should be able to reach one hundred percent fusion.’
To be on the verge of completing his breakthrough goal in less than five years since entering the Abyss made Pei Ze feel quite pleased.
’The Blood Wars truly are the fastest way to increase one’s strength in the Multiverse.’
’As long as you have a way to eliminate the Spirit pollution, raising your strength is almost too fast.’
’I just wonder if I’ll be able to maintain this rate of improvement after advancing to a Level 6 Wizard.’
Pei Ze figured the chances were slim.
Level 5 and 6 combatants were few and far between on the Blood War battlefields. For a Level 6 Wizard, simply relying on killing Middle and Low-tier Demons wouldn’t be very effective.
It was possible that even a Blood War lasting decades or even a century might not be enough to achieve a breakthrough.
’But no matter what, the Blood Wars are ultimately much faster than normal cultivation.’
’If there’s no better way by then, I’ll have to keep participating in the Blood Wars.’
While lost in thought, Pei Ze arrived at the banks of the River of Blood. It didn’t take him long to find Annie and Gu Lin.
The Vampire Wizard stood on the bank of the River of Blood, her calm gaze fixed on the wailing souls that churned within it.
Gu Lin stood to the side, looking utterly bored. It wasn’t until she saw Pei Ze that a smile broke out on her face, and she raised a hand in greeting.
"Huh?"
Pei Ze looked Gu Lin up and down, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
"You’ve advanced to a Level 3 Wizard?"
"That’s right." Gu Lin lifted her chin, a bit smugly. "I’m at the Level 3 liquefaction stage now."
Not only had she advanced to a Level 3 Wizard, but she had even reached the liquefaction stage. To have such a huge increase in strength in just one year made Pei Ze immediately suspect that Gu Lin had also been participating in the Blood Wars.
After all, with Annie around, eliminating the Spirit pollution would be incredibly easy.
Despite his suspicions, Pei Ze didn’t press the matter and simply offered a smiling congratulations.
Gu Lin quickly reined in her smug expression. After all, the person standing before her was a peerless genius of the same age who was about to advance to a Level 6 Wizard.
Her accomplishment was enough to crush others her age, but it was nothing worth mentioning compared to Pei Ze.
After a few more words and some light chatter, Pei Ze turned his gaze to Annie.
The Vampire Wizard turned at the right moment and tossed a dimensional bag to Pei Ze.
"The Divine Blood and the Cyan Flame are in here."
Pei Ze caught the dimensional bag and put it away directly without inspecting it.
"Thanks."
"Don’t mention it. You’ve earned it."
Annie waved her hand dismissively.
"What are your plans now?"
Pei Ze answered without hesitation, "Continue participating in the Blood Wars."
Annie wasn’t surprised by this answer. She nodded slightly and said, "It’s fine to increase your soul fusion rate, but for the breakthrough itself, it would be best to wait until you’re back in Chenxi City. The Abyss is no place to advance."
"Indeed," Pei Ze said, in full agreement.
The process of converting Soul Power lasts for a very long time, and during this period, the Wizard themselves is left defenseless. If attacked at such a moment, the consequences would be unimaginable.
And the Abyss, if nothing else, was teeming with villains.
If he really tried to break through in the Abyss, it was highly likely a few Great Demons would pop up to cause trouble midway.
Of course, Pei Ze had no intention of putting himself in such a dangerous situation.
"Coincidentally, the qualification tournament for the Holy Land is in three years," Annie said suddenly. "Once you break through, you’ll be able to participate."
"The qualification tournament for the Holy Land?" Pei Ze was taken aback for a moment.
Annie glanced at him, surprised. "You don’t know?"
Pei Ze shook his head. He really hadn’t heard of it.
Annie thought for a moment, and then a look of realization dawned on her.
Pei Ze’s strength had increased too quickly. He had gone from a Level 1 Wizard to his current Level 5 in just over ten years—a fraction of the time it took his peers. It was normal for him to be unaware of many things.
"You know about the Realm of Truth, right?"
Pei Ze nodded.
The Realm of Truth is a unique secret realm created by a Great Wizard based on their own understanding of rules. It contains a Great Wizard’s insights into truth and rules, and coming into contact with these insights can enhance one’s strength.
When Pei Ze was still a Wizard Apprentice, he had entered the Realm of Truth twice and gained a great deal.
After becoming a Wizard, he had also entered the Realm of Truth controlled by the Council, which was said to be the most complete one. He was more familiar with such places than many other Wizards.
Annie continued, "The Realm of Truth is a man-made place of enlightenment, but the Holy Land is a place that naturally contains countless insights into rules. It’s one of a kind in the entire Multiverse."
"Legend has it that every blade of grass, every tree, every rock, and every speck of soil in the Holy Land contains the most fundamental rules. Elements, shadows, death, decay... as long as a rule exists, you can find it in the Holy Land."
Pei Ze’s expression shifted.
’A place that naturally contains countless truths about the rules... Wouldn’t that be the dream destination for a Level 6 Wizard?’
After all, upon advancing to Level 6, a Wizard would begin to interact with the Power of Rules and attempt to comprehend them. Only by completely mastering a rule could one advance to become a Rule Wizard.
