"Scarlet Queen," Marius murmured, and unlike the others, there was almost reverence in his eyes when he spoke those words, because if someone was going to be called a queen, then naturally, she needed a legion worthy of standing beneath her.

Seeing the Scarlet Queen once again, Marius had already forgotten the embarrassing incident from earlier, and his eyes had regained that familiar, almost frantic fascination.

He knew that Selene was a Perfect Vampire, someone born with the potential to rule over the Vampires, and now the awakening of her Demi-God-level innate ability served as further proof of that belief.

From the side, Luke noticed Marius staring at Selene with a foolish smile and couldn’t help feeling confused.

He glanced at Marius for another moment before deciding to ignore him, because even Luke’s attention had been captured by the spectacle unfolding below.

Selene remained completely focused on her Blood Legion, paying no attention to the spectral serpent hovering behind her throne, whose size continued increasing with every passing moment, growing by another foot each time it absorbed the energy being fed into it.

Brynessa, meanwhile, had no intention of standing still and allowing the Blood Warriors to surround her.

She moved her thousand-foot-long serpent body through the blood pool and began thrashing from side to side with tremendous force, using her long body and tail to crush the Blood Warriors whenever they came within reach.

The battlefield immediately became filled with repeated explosions and collisions as her body displaced the surrounding blood, sending waves of crimson liquid surging through the domain while sections of the ground beneath the blood pool were also blasted apart by the force of her movements.

Yet the Blood Warriors continued coming.

They showed no fear and possessed no instinct for self-preservation, rushing toward Brynessa like undead soldiers whose only purpose was to obey Selene’s command, and whenever they reached her enormous body, they drove their blood-forged spears directly into her thick scales.

Several spears plunged deep into Brynessa’s body.

"Hiss!"

Pain crossed Brynessa’s expression as she realized that these Blood Warriors were not merely Early B-rank beings in name, because Selene had reinforced their weapons with the authority of her domain, allowing their blood-forged armaments to gain an advantage over Brynessa’s physical characteristics that their raw cultivation alone shouldn’t have provided.

Her naturally powerful body, which should have been capable of resisting attacks from beings of the same rank, was unable to completely stop those spears from piercing through her scales.

"Damn this domain!"

Brynessa immediately understood where the problem came from, because inside Selene’s Blood World, the Blood Warriors were not fighting as ordinary summoned creatures anymore; they were extensions of the domain itself, and the surrounding blood allowed Selene to continuously reinforce and replace them.

With that realization, Brynessa suddenly twisted her entire body and unleashed a violent thrashing motion, driving her enormous form against the blood-covered ground with such force that more than a hundred meters of the battlefield were destroyed beneath her body while dozens upon dozens of Blood Warriors were crushed in the same movement.

The impact sent blood surging into the air, and Brynessa emerged from the disturbed pool with her body covered in blood, some of it belonging to the battlefield while the rest came from her own wounds.

She looked around.

"Damn it."

Her expression became increasingly grim as she saw what had happened, because although she had destroyed a large number of Blood Warriors, the blood pool around her immediately began moving again, and new Blood Warriors started rising from it to replace the ones she had just killed.

Selene simply kept replenishing her army.

At this rate, Brynessa would eventually lose through exhaustion alone, because every movement she made consumed stamina and Origin energy, while Selene could continue drawing upon the blood within her domain to restore her legion.

And above her, the crimson sigil created by Crimson Throne’s Judgment was still present, constantly pressing down on her body and making her movements even more difficult.

Brynessa’s serpentine eyes turned toward Selene.

The Blood Sovereign still sat calmly upon her Crimson Throne, with her posture carrying the composure of a true queen who had no reason to rise from her seat while an entire army fought on her behalf.

Her internal energy circulation also slowed, and several other subtle changes began occurring throughout her body.

But one of the most noticeable changes was happening behind her.

The spectral serpent had already grown far larger than before, and its body was now nearly one hundred feet long.

Selene remained confused by the strange creature, but before she could focus on it, she felt another disturbance.

Her connection with the Blood Legion suddenly began weakening.

It felt as though something was trying to sever the link between herself and the army she had created.

For a brief moment, it actually succeeded.

All around Brynessa, the Blood Warriors suddenly became directionless, their crimson heads turning and moving without any clear focus as the connection controlling them weakened, and several of them even began attacking one another instead of continuing their assault on Brynessa.

Brynessa released a breath of relief as she saw the effect, although the relief did not last long because her Origin energy was rapidly decreasing.

Even though Sevenfold Omen worked indirectly, she was still forcing a curse onto Selene’s Blood Sovereign body, and the resistance generated by Selene’s awakened inheritance was far stronger than she had anticipated.

The evidence was visible in the six purple symbols themselves, which were flickering repeatedly as they struggled to maintain their influence, with the sixth omen in particular trembling more violently than the others as it attempted to suppress Selene’s connection to Blood Legion.
