Chapter 737: Real Boss Fight - 1

1] Aurelius Beast Academy - 360 Points -> 403 Points

2] Sunborn Royal Academy - 326 Points -> 370 Points

With that, Phase 4 ended.

And, as Fruder had guessed, the remaining two strongholds couldn’t attack each other.

The Strongholds can no longer be destroyed...

Highest-scoring academy: Aurelius Beast Academy.

Winners of the Strategic Warfare: Aurelius Beast Academy.

They have scored 1 Master Point.

The next event will begin in 48 Hours; students can use this time to rest and prepare for the upcoming challenge, which will award the winning Academy 1 Master Point.

The first academy to score 2 Master Points will be declared the winner of the competition.

A structure has appeared in the stronghold vicinity, which can be used to spend the points scored in the 4 phases.

The announcement ended, leaving the students of both sides hanging.

But this was actually better for them, because everybody was indeed tired.

2 days would be enough to bring them back to top condition, while they had ample time to decide what they could buy.

While the others rested, Leo, Lily, and Fruder went into the structure that had appeared right beside the cliff.

It was the same stony structure as the ones at the flag locations, but slightly larger, and it had a digital screen displaying various items for sale along with their prices.

First was, of course, the revival card for 1 person.

Revive 1 Person = 50 Points

While Fruder’s expression hardened and he grimaced, Leo only narrowed his eyes.

This meant that, with the 370 points held by the Sunborn Royal Academy, they could revive all 7 dragons they had eliminated, leaving them with only 20 points.

As for Aurelius Beast Academy, only 1 person had been eliminated from their side, and that person was a scout.

Both Leo and Fruder looked at each other.

Yeah... he was not needed now.

With that done, they started to browse.

And they realised that, along with high-grade consumables costing 10 to 20 points—including healing and temporary stat-boosting items—there were single-use artefacts with almost the same effects as the ones obtained from the flags, including area-of-effect ones, as well as some weaker single-use items with personal, one-man effects.

Area-of-effect artefacts started at 50 points and went up to 250 points, while single-person ones ranged from 20 to 50 points.

The first ones that Leo ruled out obviously included the ones he already knew.

[Frostfall Domain] - Single Use Artefact - 50 points

[Voidshade Veil] - Single Use Artefact - 50 points

It seemed the artefacts obtained from the flags were worth only 50 points, since Leo observed 8 other 50-point artefacts like—

[Heavenfall Ruin] - Lightning-based

[Ironroot Cataclysm] - Wood-based

[Great Meteor Fall] - Earth-flame based

[Blazing Cyclone] - Fire-based

[Scorching Sandstorm] - Wind-earth based

And others.

Then Leo started seeing the higher-cost artefacts, priced at 100 points.

1] [Crimson Meteor Field - Single Use Artefact] - 100 points

Range: 5 km diameter

Duration: 10 minutes

- Summons a gigantic crimson storm cloud above the region, continuously generating burning fragments of extremely dense titanrock.

- Random Intervals: Small meteors fall upon random enemies from the sky.

- Every 5 Minutes: A massive meteor crashes into a random location, creating a devastating explosion and shockwave.

Allies remain completely unaffected.

---

2] [Solar Grave - Single Use Artefact] - 100 Points

Range: 5 km diameter

Duration: 15 minutes

- Creates a miniature artificial sun above the battlefield, flooding the entire region with intense heat and blinding golden light.

- Random Intervals: Concentrated beams of solar energy descend upon random enemies.

- Every 1 Minute: The artificial sun releases a massive wave of scorching energy across the entire region.

Allies remain completely unaffected.

---

3] [Gravitational Calamity - Single Use Artefact] - 100 points

Range: 5 km diameter

Duration: 10 minutes

- Increases and constantly fluctuates the gravitational force throughout the entire region.

- Random Intervals: Random enemies are suddenly subjected to extreme gravity, crushing them toward the ground.

- Every 3 Minutes: A massive gravitational pulse erupts from the centre, violently forcing all enemies toward the ground.

Allies remain completely unaffected.

---

There were a few more, but Leo found these the best. However, even among these, he, Lily, and Fruder collectively decided to eliminate [Solar Grave].

Somehow, it felt like a kick to their intelligence to even put it on the list when it would directly benefit the dragons, especially Azrakar and Vorthak, as sun-flame variants.

The next ones were worth 150 Points.

[Magma Burst Field - Single Use Artefact]

Range: 2 km diameter

Duration: 25 minutes

- Superheats the ground throughout the region, causing cracks...

---

[Falling Flame Rain - Single Use Artefact]

Range: 3 km diameter

Duration: 30 minutes

- Creates a burning cloud above the region that continuously rains flaming projectiles onto the battlefield.

...

---

[Earthspike Domain - Single Use Artefact]

Range: 3 km diameter

Duration: 60 minutes

- Causes the ground throughout the region to become unstable...

---

Before Leo could read further, he promptly scrolled away. Any fire- and sun-based artefacts were useless, and so was anything that affected ground units.

Their opponents were flying flame-dragons. Those were useless.

Only a fool would select those.

With that done, Leo continued scrolling and finally found the 250-point artefacts. He had to admit, even if only 3 were present, all of them were the best kind.

[Dragonfall Cataclysm - Single Use Artefact] - 250 points

Range: 5 km diameter

Duration: 10 minutes

- Summons dozens of enormous spectral dragon heads above the battlefield.

- Random Intervals: The dragon heads unleash devastating elemental breaths upon random enemy groups with guaranteed-hit effects.

- Every 2 Minutes: All dragon heads simultaneously fire their breath attacks, covering huge portions of the battlefield.

Allies remain completely unaffected.

---

[Heaven’s Wrath - Single Use Artefact] - 250 points

Range: 5 km diameter

Duration: 10 minutes

- Covers the entire sky with enormous black storm clouds filled with golden lightning.

- Random Intervals: Massive lightning spears descend from the clouds and strike random enemies with a guaranteed-hit effect.

- Every 1 Minute: Hundreds of lightning bolts rain down simultaneously across the entire region.

Allies remain completely unaffected.

---

[Meteor Apocalypse - Single Use Artefact] - 250 points

Range: 10 km diameter

Duration: 10 minutes

- Tears open a massive rift in the sky, allowing burning space meteors to continuously descend upon the battlefield.

- Random Intervals: Several meteors crash into random enemies, creating enormous explosions.

- Every 2 Minutes: A gigantic meteor descends from the sky, causing a massive impact capable of destroying everything within hundreds of meters.

- At the End: The rift releases dozens of massive meteors simultaneously.

Allies remain completely unaffected.

---

Leo noted down the important artefacts, then proceeded to see the list of single-person artefacts.

[Beastcall Horn - Single Use Artefact] - 40 Points

- Releases a supernatural roar that can be heard across 5 km.

- All allied beasts within range instantly receive a temporary boost to their physical abilities.

[Heaven’s Eye - Single Use Artefact] - 50 points

- Creates a massive eye-shaped projection above the battlefield.

- Reveals all living beings for a few seconds within a 10 km radius, including those hidden underground, invisible, or concealed by ordinary illusions.

- Marks a designated target for 30 minutes.

[Phoenix Ember - Single Use Artefact] - 30 Points

- Instantly restores a severely injured individual’s body.

- Reconstructs damaged flesh, bones, and organs.

[Mana Spring Crystal - Single Use Artefact] - 50 Points

- Releases a massive wave of pure mana upon activation.

- Instantly restores a great amount of the individual’s maximum mana.

- Also temporarily accelerates mana recovery for the next 10 minutes, which doesn’t depend on surrounding mana density.

[Soul-Lock Chain - Single Use Artefact] - 20 Points

- Marks the targeted enemy.

- Suppresses their soul-based abilities and prevents teleportation or spatial escape for 10 minutes.

...

---

After they finished reading through it all, they went back to the stronghold to hold a discussion.

And just like that, 48 hours were already coming to an end.
