A God Killed Me By Accident, But I Reincarnated As The 4th Son Of The Marquis
Volume 16 Chapter 35: Enjoy Your Date
Keith practiced his swordsmanship in the barracks; as the blade descended, a powerful sound of wind being cut was heard. A thunderous sound of something akin to a scream escaped as a barrage of sounds were slashed down.
The knights practicing were scooting away with each slash increasing in volume. No one wanted to get close; getting close would spell their death. After what happened in the town, he needed to let off some steam. Keith stopped swinging and got himself a drink. However, the cup broke in two seconds.
May let out a weary sigh as she cleaned up the cracks: this was not the first cup he broke today...and it would not be the last.
“Keith, forget about it; the incident is over.” It had been a few days since the incident with the baron, yet Keith was still enraged. This was not even the worst of it: upon hearing the news, William and the others went berserk as well! They even planned to storm the baron’s home and destroy everything! Ultimately, Julius and the rest had to hold them back, though it was almost not enough.
“No way! That little brat dares act entitled!” Keith clenched his fist tightly; blood almost dripped. The thought alone was enough to make him explode. Did that brat really think he was some king?! Heck! Even princes wouldn’t be this unruly! Keith was so close to spanking the child in front of the citizens. The only thing stopping him from doing this was May and Carolyn, who held him back.
May sighed, “Come on now, there’s no need.” She continued to pat his head, trying her best to soothe him before he exploded another time.
“Let’s head out and take our minds off it.” May grabbed his hand and dragged him off.
Keith’s expression softened, “Fine.” He needed to take his mind...I can use this to look for any more of them! It was the perfect chance to take out the stragglers.
“Young Master, the expression you’re making?” May paused as her eyes narrowed.
“It’s nothing; let’s go, shall we?” A refreshing smile appeared on Keith’s face as he held her hand. When they were going to leave, “Wait a moment, I’m going to come with you.” Michael called, but Keith responded with silence as his head tilted; his eyes were filled with confusion as he asked,
“Why are you dressed up?” The commander of the knights was dressed in a tuxedo.
“What? Can’t I wear something nice?!”
“For you, no.” Never once did Michael and fashion have anything to do with one another. Actually, it was next to impossible given this guy’s rough nature.
“…”
“You cannot scold someone who is trying, Keith.” With a glance, May added, “You should wear something more casual, Michael. It is too formal.”
“Really, May? Shouldn’t I be formal?”
“Not to this degree. You look like you’re going to get married.”
“Then I will change!” Michael quickly changed his clothes. Keith turned to May, “You know something?”
“Hmm?”
“Ever since I got back, it feels like something’s been missing.” It was a powerful sensation; William and his brothers didn’t say anything as they looked away. When he asked Sophia, she returned with a coy smile. Everyone seemed to know, except for him.
“You will know.” Keith sighed as Michael returned, “How is this, May?”
“Better.” May nodded with approval as they headed out. The first location they went to was the center of the city. May knew if she didn’t allow him to come, he was at risk of exploding. The worry he had for the children was not needed.
Beside the cart were Eric and Derek; the customers fell in line as they waited patiently. Who in their right mind would cause trouble in front of the 1st and 3rd young masters of the Marquis? It was asking for death!
Keith nodded as he watched, but that was when May pulled his hand, “Let us be off now.”
“Alright.” The two were going to have their own date. It was simple and refreshing. The two had gotten some cake, walking as they ate.
“Young Master, your cheek.” She gently wiped the crumbs off.
“Thank you.” Keith smiled.
While he was doing this, he heard a familiar voice.
“Here.”
“You didn’t have to bring anything on our date.”
“I thought you would like it. Is it wrong?”
“No, it’s fine.”
…Isn’t that? Keith turned to May, who let out a helpless nod, “You were going to find out about it eventually.”
“Michael?! Sarah?!” Keith’s eyes widened as he stared at them.
“...” There was a strange silence between all of them. Keith then pointed and then jolted to May, “Is this the reason?” Is this the reason everyone was smiling?
May nodded.
No wonder! This was explosive news!
“...” Sarah was flushed while Michael looked away.
“Well, you guys enjoy your date.” Keith waved, with May holding his hand as they walked away.
