Aksai decided to start with the best option and made his choice. “This one,” he said softly, holding the vial in his palm. “This should take me past the last wall.”

He stored the remaining vials neatly into a cold storage ring before leaving the lab. As he stepped into the open courtyard of the Everwood Farmhouse, the warm air greeted him.

The entire place was glowing faintly green. The flow of ambient Spirit essence was shifting slightly, moving like gentle waves through the trees and plants.

Aksai could tell she was doing something that affected the entire farm’s energy field, but he didn’t interfere. He knew Yelia wouldn’t do anything that could harm the balance of his sanctuary.

He walked to the middle of the courtyard and sat down by a long stone table. From one of the nearby trays, he picked up several small pieces of finely chopped Flesh Pumpkins — fruits with pulp that looked like flesh and blood in color. They also had a bit of silver mixed into them. It was as if fresh red fleshly muscle was sewn with a silvery thread.

He ate the fruits raw, one after another. After another upgrade, the taste of the Flesh Pumpkins was slightly bitter, but he didn’t mind. Soon, he felt the familiar surge of pure, silvery Qi flooding through his Qi Pathways, refining his energy reserves even more.

After eating his fill, Aksai leaned back and allowed his body to rest. He lay down under the child tree of the Demon Tree in the courtyard and fell asleep almost instantly.

When he woke up a few hours later, his mind felt clear and light. He stretched, rolled his shoulders, and went to eat again — this time consuming a mix of Spirit herbs and Qi-rich fruits that he had cultivated within the farm. His body soaked up the Qi like a sponge.

Then, he walked to the training ground inside the farmhouse. The ground here was reinforced with various types of Essence Equation runes complete with layers of spectral barriers.

“It’s time,” Aksai thought to himself before taking out the vial of the Golden Rebirth Elixir. In one gulp, he drank the content of the vial.

He then took a deep breath and began practicing the Celestial Unity — a body cultivation technique he had built himself. It was something born out of his research on Reymon’s data and Zinnia’s training results.

The Spirit farmer had improved it again after analyzing Zinnia’s breakthrough event and her stats, adapting every movement to his own needs and druidic physiology.

As he moved, his body glowed with faint silver light. Each stance was firm, fluid, and perfectly timed. The Neural Link Fabric projected faint guiding lines into his vision, helping him adjust the flow of Qi with precision.

Step by step, his Qi circulation grew faster. His movements blended martial precision with artistic rhythm — a seamless flow of Qi and motion. The silvery Qi inside him pulsed, and then he shifted to a new phase.

He activated a new Martial Intent Diagram — one designed specifically to help him break through the barrier between the Argent Body Realm and the Aurous Body Realm.

The rhythm of his breathing deepened. The ground under him trembled slightly. His blood ran hot, and soon his body turned reddish, as if his flesh was on fire.

Aksai immediately sat cross-legged and focused on the breathing sequence of Celestial Unity. His heart pounded as waves of silvery Qi rushed through him.

Suddenly, pain exploded in his body. His skin cracked open in several places, small implosions bursting under his flesh. Blood spilled out, but he didn’t stop. He gritted his teeth, his eyes flashing with determination.

The process had begun — the destruction before rebirth.

Unlike Zinnia, Aksai’s body was not purely human. His druidic lineage made his vitality immense but also made the transformation more violent. His Qi Shell — a dense layer of energy within his body — made the refinement even harder. To evolve, his body needed to destroy itself from within and rebuild again with stronger, denser vitality.

His bones began to crack and mend, over and over, like metal being reforged. His organs ruptured and healed, infused with new golden energy drawn from his druidic essence.

The pain was almost unbearable, yet he kept his breathing steady, his focus sharp.

The sound isolation barrier he had set up kept his agonized roars from echoing outside.

Hours passed. His body was now covered in layers of dried, dark-red skin — hardened shells of old flesh that peeled and broke away as new, glowing skin formed beneath. The old skin shattered like eggshells, falling to the ground in flakes.

By this point, Aksai’s silvery Qi had turned completely golden, a sign of a perfected Aurous Body breakthrough. Even his Qi Shell Tattoo had changed significantly in shape, size, and more.

At this point, the Qi Shell Tattoo on Aksai’s back had a bit of golden hue mixed into its original dark green color. The Tattoo had become even more complex with more runes added to it.

Much of the added potency of the Golden Rebirth Elixir was directed for the Qi Shell. As such, it seemed that the Verdant Elder had gone through a similar process of the breakthrough as well.

When the process ended, Aksai sat motionless. His breathing was calm again. The golden light around him dimmed. His skin had regained its normal color, but there was a faint golden hue that seemed to come from within when he clenched his fists.

Aksai slowly opened his eyes. They gleamed faintly, brighter than before — calm, sharp, and filled with vitality. He had crossed the boundary. His body now radiated the aura of someone who had stepped into the early stage of the Aurous Body Realm.

He looked down at his hands and clenched them into fists. The strength within him pulsed like a living flame. A small smile formed on his lips.

“It’s done,” he whispered. “Reymon… I sure hope you don’t disappoint me.”
