The hall of living flowers occupied the highest terrace of the citadel.

Vines covered the walls and ceiling in thick, deliberate patterns. Blossoms of soft pink and deep violet opened and closed in slow rhythm, responding to the cursed energy of anyone who entered. The air smelled of rain and crushed petals. Low tables of pale wood held bottles of clear wine and open charts of the nearer Expanse. No attendants waited inside. Lian and Mei had chosen privacy for the conversation they wanted.

Lian poured the wine herself. Mei watched my hands when I accepted the cup, measuring the control in the small movement the same way Lady Sable measured combat sequences. We drank. The wine was light and cold and carried a faint floral edge that matched the room.

They began with questions.

How the residual network in the north had truly fallen. What remained of the Cursed Nebula Physique after the final collapse. How the original circle functioned without residual claims binding them. I answered what I chose to answer and left the rest in silence. Lian accepted the boundaries without visible offence. Mei pushed harder on the gaps, testing whether pressure would open them. It did not.

When the wine was half gone the questions shifted toward the Mirror Expanse itself — which reflection belts the Twin Petal Pavilion had already stabilised, which ones still killed explorers, and what the sisters intended to do with a gate that now answered to a physique they did not control. I gave them the same measured honesty I had given Lady Sable. Information for information. No more.

Mei set her cup down and looked at her sister. Something wordless passed between them through the dual physique they shared. Lian's expression softened by a fraction. Mei's sharpened.

"The charts are useful," Lian said. "But charts will not tell us how that physique moves when it is not being used to open gates or close residual wounds."

Mei rose and crossed the space between us without hurry.

"We prefer direct measurement."

She kissed me first. There was no hesitation in it, only the same precise intent she brought to every test. Lian joined a moment later, her mouth finding the side of my neck while her sister kept my attention. The dual physique they shared resonated immediately with the Cursed Nebula. Every point of contact carried an extra weight of sensation, as if the energy between us had decided to amplify itself without being asked.

Clothes came away in stages. The living flowers on the walls opened wider as the density of cursed energy in the room increased. Lian's body was soft where Mei's was lean, pink-trimmed curves against violet-edged muscle, but the way they moved together spoke of long practice in sharing whatever they decided to take. They guided me to a wide couch of the same pale wood as the tables and continued the measurement with deliberate slowness.

Mei took me into her mouth while Lian kissed me and watched every reaction. When Mei finally sank down onto my cock she did it in one controlled motion, eyes open, dual energy flaring along her skin in visible violet lines that matched the ones rising across Lian's arms as she pressed close beside us. The resonance made every thrust land harder and deeper than the physical motion alone should have allowed. Lian's fingers worked between her sister and me, then between her own legs, keeping the circuit of their shared physique open and feeding it back into the places where we were joined.

They switched without needing to speak. Lian rode me with slower, heavier movements while Mei straddled my face and let me taste the evidence of how strongly the resonance affected her. The flowers on the walls bloomed in waves that matched the rising intensity. When Lian came it triggered Mei through the dual link, and the feedback loop pulled my own climax out of me in a long, hard pulse that left all three of us shaking.

They were not finished.

The night continued in the same measured rhythm. Sometimes both sisters worked on me together with hands and mouths until I was ready again. Sometimes one held me inside her while the other directed the pace and the depth. The dual physique never stopped amplifying the contact. Every release landed heavier than the last. Mei preferred control and eye contact. Lian preferred to lose herself in the sensation and trust her sister to keep the structure intact. I gave both of them what the resonance demanded and took what they offered in return.

By the time the reflected sky outside the terrace began to lighten, the living flowers had closed into tight buds again and the three of us lay tangled on the wide couch in the pleasant exhaustion that followed honest excess. Mei's head rested on my chest. Lian's leg was thrown across both of us. The dual energy between the sisters had settled into a low, satisfied hum that still brushed against the Cursed Nebula Physique like a cat testing a new source of warmth.

Mei spoke first, voice roughened by the night.

"The Twin Petal Pavilion will share every stable chart we currently hold of the nearer Expanse. In exchange you will give us priority access when the deeper belts are opened. And you will accept that my sister and I intend to claim a permanent place in whatever circle you are building."

Lian lifted her head enough to meet my eyes.

"We do not ask for the centre. That already belongs to the woman who waited on the other side of the gate. We ask for space inside the pattern. The resonance between our physique and yours will not be a temporary curiosity."

I looked at both of them. The night had been a test on both sides. They had measured the physique. I had measured the women who carried a dual power clean enough to match it. Neither side had been found wanting.

"Agreed," I said. "Charts for priority. And a place in the circle under the same rules that already govern the rest of it. Elizabeth sets those rules. You will follow them or the place disappears."

Mei's thinner smile returned, sharper than before but no longer purely competitive.

"Acceptable."

They dressed with the same unhurried precision they had used to undress. A fresh set of charts was placed in a sealed case and given to me. The small vessel of living vine and pale stone waited at the landing platform to return me to the camp.

Elizabeth stood at the edge of the reflective stone when the vessel descended. The rest of the circle was awake and waiting behind her. Lady Sable watched from a short distance away, expression unreadable. I stepped off the vessel carrying the sealed case of Twin Petal charts and the clear knowledge of what the night had produced.

Elizabeth walked to meet me alone. She looked at the case, then at my face, then at the distant shape of the floating citadel where two banners of pink and violet still hung.

"They asked for a permanent place," she said. It was not a question.

"Yes."

"And you accepted under the existing rules."

"Yes."

She nodded once, calm and certain.

"Then the circle continues to grow. I remain at its centre. They will learn that the same way the others have."

She turned and walked back toward the others without further comment. Vale's eyes tracked the floating citadel for a moment longer before she followed. Seraphina, Lydia and Feng Lan accepted the news with the same practical silence they had given every previous expansion. Lady Sable received her copy of the new charts and gave a short nod that might have contained approval or simply calculation.

The Mirror Expanse stretched around us in every direction, full of reflections that still needed mapping. The Twin Petal sisters had joined the pattern. The sealed case under my arm carried the first real charts of a region the great clans had never owned. And Elizabeth stood at the centre of a circle that had just grown wider without losing its shape.

The wider cursed world continued to open.
