10,000x Rebate System: Every Return Makes Me Stronger
Chapter 92: Acquiring the Land [1]
Amon got inside the car and sat opposite Felicia.
The lady had her arms crossed as she looked at him with a slightly tired expression.
Amon looked at her with a slight smile. "We meet again."
Felicia groaned. "Don’t talk as if we like each other."
Amon sighed. "What happened this time?"
The car started moving, and Felicia placed the tablet on her lap before answering. "I got all the information about the old lady who owns the mana-rich land."
Amon’s expression immediately became more attentive. "Really? What did you find?"
"Her name is Martha Elenor." Felicia paused for a moment before continuing.
"She’s an elderly woman who has lived in an old town just outside the city. She has no family left, and according to the information I gathered, she doesn’t have any close friends either."
Amon blinked. "So she’s completely alone?"
"Pretty much."
Amon thought about it for a moment before asking, "Did you meet with her?"
Felicia nodded. "I spoke with her yesterday."
Amon’s eyebrows rose. "And she rejected the deal?"
Felicia nodded again. "She explicitly told me that she would only sell the land to a young man, and she wanted to meet him herself before making any decision."
Amon blinked several times, and a look of horror slowly appeared on his face.
"Wait." He leaned forward slightly. "Is this old woman going to ask me to fuck her?"
Felicia immediately made a disgusted expression. "What is wrong with you?"
Amon looked genuinely confused. "What? You don’t explain things properly, and then expect me not to make assumptions."
"Why do your thoughts always go there?" she asked, still holding her disgusted expression.
"Because you keep giving me suspicious information without explaining the important parts."
Felicia glared at him for several seconds before she simply closed her eyes and leaned back against the seat.
Amon stared at her in confusion. ’Did I actually make her speechless?’
He decided not to say anything else.

The car eventually arrived in an old neighborhood not too far from the city.
The buildings here were much older than the modern structures surrounding the central districts.
Many of the roads were narrow enough that only one car could comfortably pass through at a time.
Felicia stepped out first, and Amon followed her.
He looked around curiously as they walked down the quiet street.
After a short while, Amon glanced at Felicia. "Is there anything I need to keep in mind before we meet her?"
"Yes." Felicia stopped walking and looked at him. "Just shut your mouth."
Amon stared at her. "Then how am I supposed to talk?"
Felicia’s eye twitched. She slowly turned her head toward him and gave him a cold glare.
Amon immediately understood that continuing the argument probably wasn’t worth it. "Alright, I’ll be quiet."
"Good."
They continued walking until they reached a small house surrounded by a short stone wall.
The house itself looked old but well-maintained, with several potted plants placed near the entrance.
Felicia walked toward the door and rang the bell. They waited for several seconds, and eventually, the door opened.
A young woman stood there wearing a simple white nurse’s uniform.
She appeared to be in her late twenties, with brown hair tied into a neat ponytail and a calm expression that immediately became cautious when she saw Felicia.
Felicia nodded toward her. "We’re here to meet Martha."
The nurse looked at Amon before looking back at Felicia. "She told me you might come."
"Then can we see her?"
The nurse stepped aside. "Come in."
Amon entered behind Felicia.
The nurse’s eyes briefly lingered on him as she followed them inside, studying him with interest before quickly looking away.
The interior of the house was surprisingly cozy.
Old wooden furniture filled the living room, while several framed photographs covered the walls.
The nurse led them toward the sitting area.
An elderly woman was sitting on a large sofa near the window.
Her white hair was neatly tied behind her head, and although her face was covered with wrinkles, her sharp eyes showed that her mind was still perfectly clear.
The moment she saw Felicia, her expression became annoyed. "You again."
Felicia didn’t seem bothered, as if she was accustomed to dealing with grumpy people. "Good afternoon, Martha."
"What do you want now?"
Felicia gestured toward Amon. "I told you that I would bring a young man."
Martha’s eyes immediately shifted toward Amon.
She slowly looked him up and down.
Amon suddenly felt uncomfortable under her gaze. ’Why does everyone keep staring at me like I’m some kind of product?’
Martha eventually smiled. "Sit down."
She invited them further inside the living room and gestured toward the sofa.
Felicia and Amon sat down.
Martha took the seat opposite them. "Do you remember what I told you yesterday?"
Felicia nodded. "You said you wanted to examine him yourself."
"Correct." Martha looked toward the nurse. "Bring me the box."
The nurse nodded before leaving the room.
Amon became slightly confused as he whispered to the lady beside him. "What exactly is she going to examine, my dick?"
Felicia completely ignored him.
A few moments later, the nurse returned carrying a small wooden box.
She carefully placed it in front of Martha. The elderly woman opened the box and took out a thick stack of cards.
Amon’s eyebrows rose as he saw a familiar item. ’Tarot cards?’
Martha separated the cards and placed thirteen of them on the table, keeping their faces hidden.
She then looked at Amon. "Pick three."
Amon glanced toward Felicia, but the mature woman merely shrugged.
With no other choice, Amon reached forward and selected three cards.
He placed them on the table, and Martha picked up the first card and slowly turned it over.
’Please be a Fool, please.’ Amon thought inwardly as he stared at it.
...It was The Emperor.
Amon raised an eyebrow. ’Well, it’s not that bad.’
She picked up the second card, and it was... The Wheel of Fortune.
Martha’s expression immediately became strange, and she flipped over the third card.
...The Lovers.
For several seconds, nobody said anything as Martha stared at the three cards.
"Finally." Her trembling voice came to Amon. "Finally!"
She suddenly began laughing hysterically, the sound echoing throughout the room.
Amon’s expression became completely confused. "What the hell?"
Martha suddenly pushed herself out of her chair and lunged toward him. "You need to find Ennesha!"
Amon barely had time to react before the elderly woman grabbed his shoulders.
"You have to find Ennesha!"
"What?"
Amon was completely confused and, frankly, more than a little creeped out.
The nurse immediately rushed over and pulled Martha away from him while Felicia grabbed Amon’s arm.
"Calm down!"
Martha continued struggling as she pointed toward Amon.
"These people don’t understand!" Her voice became increasingly frantic. "He is the chosen one! He is finally here!"
Amon stared at her. ’What the hell is wrong with this lady, and did she just guessed about the System?’
The nurse managed to settle Martha back into her chair.
Amon slowly turned toward the nurse. "Who is Ennesha?"
The nurse’s expression immediately became complicated.
She looked toward Martha before answering. "Ennesha was her granddaughter."
Amon frowned as he slowly asked, "...Was?"
The nurse lowered her gaze. "She died inside a dungeon."
Amon’s face turned blank when the old lady yelled again. "I am ready to sell the land if you listen to me!!"
