"I am ready to sell the land if you listen to me!!"

Amon glanced at Felicia, who only nodded her head.

He drew in a deep breath before looking toward the old woman, who was still breathing heavily after her sudden outburst.

"Alright," Amon said calmly. "I’m willing to hear you out."

Martha slowly calmed down.

She took several deep breaths before clasping her hands together and resting them on her lap.

"My granddaughter was a wonderful girl." Her voice had lost its earlier hysteria, replaced by a deep sadness.

"She was sweet and beautiful, but more importantly, she was always trying to help and protect other people."

"....Even when she knew something was dangerous, she would still put herself in harm’s way if someone else needed her."

Amon listened quietly without interrupting her.

"When she vanished, she was protecting all of us."

Amon frowned slightly. "Protecting us from what?"

Martha shook her head. "I can’t tell you."

Amon’s eyebrows rose. "You can’t tell me, or you don’t know?"

"I know enough to understand that the threat was real." Martha’s fingers tightened around each other.

"Ennesha always talked to herself about things that were beyond anyone else’s understanding."

"She would mention places that didn’t exist, people nobody had ever heard of, and things that no one else could see."

Amon’s expression became thoughtful. ’Was she talking to some kind of ring grandpa or something?’

He immediately realized that his thought didn’t have any basis.

Martha suddenly looked directly at him. "She’s not dead."

Amon blinked. "What?"

"She’s not dead!" Martha’s voice rose again as she leaned forward. "She’s out there somewhere, waiting for someone to help her!"

The nurse immediately placed a hand on Martha’s shoulder, seemingly worried that the old woman would become overwhelmed again.

Martha didn’t take her eyes off Amon. "You are the chosen one."

Amon remained silent, still finding it hard to believe.

"I don’t know why you appeared now, but I know you are the one we’ve been waiting for." Her eyes became filled with desperation. "Please, find Ennesha."

Martha clasped her hands together. "Save her, and I will do everything I can for you."

Amon stared at her for a long time. He didn’t know what to think.

The old woman’s story sounded completely insane, yet something about it bothered him.

There were too many coincidences and abnormal things happening around him.

Before Amon could say anything, a familiar screen appeared in front of his face.

---

[Chain Quest has been created.]

[Previous Quest: The Dungeon Anomaly]

[Objective: Investigate the recent increase in newly formed dungeons and discover the reason behind the phenomenon.]

[Time Limit: 6 Months]

[Chain Quest: Find Ennesha]

[Objective: Locate Ennesha and uncover the truth behind her disappearance.]

[Reward: Inheritance of Sea]

[Grade: Divine]

---

Amon’s breathing became slightly heavier. ’Another Divine grade?’

His mind immediately became much clearer.

Whatever Ennesha was involved in, the System considered it important enough to create a chain quest from it.

More importantly, it connected directly to his previous quest regarding the dungeon anomaly.

’Was her disappearance the reason for the Dungeon Anomaly?’ Amon looked toward Martha.

The old woman was still waiting for his answer.

Amon slowly drew in a deep breath before nodding. "I’ll do my best to find your granddaughter."

Martha’s eyes immediately brightened. "Really?"

"I can’t promise that I’ll find her," Amon replied honestly. "But I’ll investigate what happened and search for her if I find a lead."

For some reason, Martha seemed satisfied with that answer.

"That’s enough." She turned toward the nurse. "Call my lawyer."

The nurse nodded and quickly left the room.

Felicia, who had remained silent throughout the entire conversation, finally spoke. "I’ll call my lawyers as well."

Amon looked toward her.

Felicia met his gaze calmly. "We still have a business deal to complete, after all."

Amon nodded. "Right."

The strange conversation about Ennesha had almost made him forget why they had come here in the first place.

The mana-rich land was still the real reason they were standing inside Martha’s house.

---

The deal was signed not long after.

Several documents were brought into the house, and both sides carefully went through the paperwork before placing their signatures on the necessary pages.

Martha didn’t hesitate once.

She seemed completely determined to sell the land as long as Amon had agreed to search for Ennesha.

Eventually, everything was finalized.

The ownership of the mana-rich land would be transferred according to the agreement, and Felicia’s lawyers handled the remaining legal procedures.

Amon, meanwhile, sat outside on the staircase of Martha’s house.

The afternoon sun had begun to descend, casting long shadows across the old neighborhood.

He rested his elbows on his knees and stared at the street. ’What exactly happened to Ennesha?’

Amon began connecting everything he knew.

The sudden increase in newly formed dungeons and Ennesha’s disappearance inside a dungeon.

Martha claiming that her granddaughter was protecting everyone from something.

And now the System had directly connected finding Ennesha to the Dungeon Anomaly quest.

’There has to be a connection.’ Amon tried coming up with different theories.

Perhaps Ennesha had discovered something beneath a dungeon.

Maybe she had accidentally triggered the creation of new dungeons.

Perhaps she had entered another world.

Or maybe the entire story about her being alive was simply Martha refusing to accept her granddaughter’s death.

Amon considered each possibility carefully.

Then he immediately found problems with them.

’No, that doesn’t explain the System.’ He leaned back slightly. ’And if Ennesha really died inside a dungeon, why would the System create a quest asking me to find her?’

There were simply too many unanswered questions.

Amon rubbed his chin. ’Inheritance of Sea.’

Even the reward bothered him.

A Divine-grade inheritance was definitely not something the System would hand out for a meaningless side quest.

Whatever Ennesha was involved in, it was probably far more important than he currently understood.

The sound of footsteps interrupted his thoughts.

Amon looked up as Felicia walked out of the house and was slowly approaching him.

"The deal is done," she said. "We can go home now."

Amon looked at her for a moment before asking, "Do you think I did the right thing?"

"Scamming an old lady?" Felicia stared at him before a faint smile appeared on her face. "I must say you really do seem to have a thing for scamming old people."

Amon groaned. "I didn’t lie to her."

"That’s true." Felicia stopped in front of him.

She looked down at Amon for a moment before placing her hand on his head.

Amon blinked as she gently patted his hair. "You did a good job."

Amon’s expression became slightly awkward. "Why are you treating me like a child?"

"Because you’re acting like one." Felicia gave his hair one final pat before turning around. "Come on. We have things to do."

She walked toward the car without waiting for him.

Amon remained seated for a few seconds.

He looked toward the house behind him, remembering Martha’s desperate expression.

He let out a long sigh before standing up.

"Six months." Amon looked toward the sky. ’I’ll have to figure this out before then.’

He walked down the stairs and headed toward the waiting car.

But just as Amon arrived at the car, he got another quest.
