Subconsciously, everyone looked in Alex’s direction, expecting some kind of terrible response.

Instead, Alex smiled.

"Do not worry. I will not send you all directly to the administration of hell. Rather, I will throw all of you into prison first, and then your punishment will be decided."

Ivy finally looked directly at him. "Aren’t you worried that I will shout and tell everyone about my real identity?"

Alex stared at Ivy.

There was an intense fire burning in her eyes, a kind of determination he had rarely seen even among the royalty of the superior beings. However, there was one fact he could not deny.

Ivy alone could not change anything. He therefore mocked her directly to her face.

"You are dreaming far too much if you think revealing your identity will change anything. You can never compare yourself to our princess, Rayami."

Hearing those words, Ivy chuckled. Alex frowned at the sound.

"What is the meaning of that? Are you not worried that we might deal with you harshly?"

Ivy continued smiling.

"No. I have already realized who might be behind all of this. Your princess, Rayami, ordered you to do this, did she not? She is trying to kill me before anyone else gets the opportunity to see me."

The moment Ivy said those words, Alex’s expression changed. His eyes flashed with murderous intent, and the atmosphere inside the hover car instantly became tense.

Before he could act, however, Silas, Jade, and Bella simultaneously stepped in front of Ivy.

All three of them stared at Alex and the other superior beings with cold expressions, their bodies positioned protectively around Ivy.

Their meaning was obvious. ’If you dare touch Ivy, you will have to get through us first.’

Alex’s arrogance immediately subsided. He knew that Ivy could not be killed.

After all, his employer had already made it very clear that Ivy had to be preserved for a greater purpose. Her body was supposed to be delivered to Rayami, while her soul would also be absorbed by Rayami.

Rayami wanted both of them intact. There was therefore no way in hell that she would allow Ivy to be killed.

Knowing this, Alex took a deep breath and looked toward Ivy. "I am not going to argue with you about this."

He calmly closed his eyes and leaned back. Everyone noticed that he had backed down. They immediately understood something.

Even though Alex had been ordered to deal with them, they would not be killing Ivy anytime soon.

For the time being, however, Ivy became much more cautious.

She had said those words out of anger, particularly because the thought of Princess Rayami disgusted her so much that she had momentarily lost control of her emotions.

Silas gently patted Ivy’s back and leaned closer to her ear. "Do not worry. We are here."

Ivy gave a faint nod.

She knew that Silas’s hand was not merely comforting her. The gentle rhythm of his fingers against her back was actually a secret signal.

He was telling her to remain calm and not act recklessly.

’Stay calm. Do not rush. If we provoke them now, they might resort to an extreme method, and you could end up being the one who gets hurt.’

Ivy understood his meaning and immediately softened her expression. Eventually, they arrived at the prison.

However, the prison looked nothing like what Ivy had imagined.

It had apparently been built beside a massive mining mountain. If she was not mistaken, the mountain contained some kind of precious minerals because numerous people were working throughout the area, mining the strange ores and forging various artifacts from them.

What stunned Ivy even more was the diversity of the people working there. They belonged to completely different races.

Some looked almost identical to humans, while others had obvious beast-like characteristics. A few appeared to belong to entirely different civilizations, with unusual skin tones and physical features.

There were even several dwarfs. Ivy’s eyes widened when she saw them.

She subconsciously turned toward Silas as though silently saying, ’See? Dwarfs truly exist!’

Silas’s lips twitched. Even in such a dangerous situation, she was still thinking about something like this.

He decided not to comment and instead looked toward Alex. "Where is the prison? I do not see one here."

Alex smirked but did not answer. Instead, he opened a door. The moment they stepped through it, they were led underground.

The temperature immediately became unbearable.

The deeper they went, the hotter the air became, and before long, Ivy was already sweating. The oppressive heat clung to her skin, making every breath feel heavier.

By the time they were thrown into their respective cells, Ivy, Silas, Jade, Bella, and Alana had been completely separated from one another.

Silas was particularly worried about Ivy.

She was already pregnant, and now she had to endure this kind of harsh environment on top of everything else.

’I should never have let her travel in this condition.’

For the first time, he regretted that they were having this child at such an unfortunate time.

’If anything happens to Ivy because of this pregnancy, I will be the first person to regret everything.’

With that thought weighing heavily on his heart, Silas walked toward the bars of his cell.

The prison itself resembled an ordinary human prison. There was only one major difference. Their vision was completely obstructed.

Even after entering his cell, Silas could not see what was on the other side.

Before he had entered the cell, he had seen Ivy being placed somewhere to his left. Therefore, he instinctively turned toward the left and called out.

"Ivy, do not worry. I am here."

However, Bella’s voice immediately answered from that direction.

"What the fuck are you saying? I am on your left."

Silas frowned. He turned toward the opposite side, trying to locate the voice.

Then he heard Jade’s voice coming from somewhere that seemed completely different.

For a moment, Silas was utterly confused.

Ivy, on the other hand, noticed the strange phenomenon and immediately began considering the possibilities.

"Are we being spatially separated? Or could these cells look ordinary from the outside while actually storing people in completely different dimensions?"

Jade shook his head. Although nobody could see him, his voice remained calm.

"I think we are most likely being deliberately misled. There does not appear to be any special spatial power involved. Instead, our voices are being transmitted toward different directions, creating the illusion that the people we are speaking to are located far away from us."

Ivy immediately understood. "That makes sense."

Silas clenched his fists. He realized that this was most likely another method used by the superior beings to prevent them from communicating properly.

’If they can keep us separated like this, things could become extremely ugly.’

He began wondering what they should do next.

Just as the silence was beginning to settle over the cells, Ivy’s voice suddenly echoed through the strange prison.

"Guys, let us all sleep. We are already exhausted from the journey. Rather than wasting our energy guessing what the superior beings might do next, let us simply enjoy ourselves while we still can."

Hearing those words, everyone quickly nodded.

They were already physically and mentally exhausted from the journey, and constantly worrying about what might happen next would only make things worse. Therefore, they decided to follow Ivy’s suggestion and sleep peacefully.

The entire conversation had actually been part of Ivy’s original plan.

Ivy had already told them that she had once seen a dream in which she had been warned that they would most likely end up imprisoned.

She had also explained that if they truly ended up in prison together, she would repeat a particular line to signal everyone to fall asleep or at least pretend to.

The purpose was simple.

They would pretend to lower their guards and act as though they had genuinely fallen asleep. The people monitoring them would eventually become convinced that they were no longer a threat and reduce their surveillance.

Once that happened, Ivy would use the opportunity to find the brick mentioned in her dream and use it to help them escape.

After all, according to the dream, this was advice given to her by her own blood siblings. Therefore, Ivy waited patiently.

She waited through the quiet hours of the night, listening to the faint sounds of movement beyond the cells while pretending to sleep.

Eventually, she found the brick. Honestly, the very existence of the brick was strange.

’This wall should not even have been built with bricks.’
