Chapter 530 -381: A Match Made in Heaven (Part 2)

But once Wizards reached Tier Four, regardless of their system, no Caster would ever have to worry about their Magic Power again. They had an inexhaustible supply of the stuff!

At the same time, this undying characteristic was also quite beneficial for the others on this battlefield.

After all, it meant they could fight without holding back, free from most worries.

Well, on the condition that they didn’t die themselves…

After reviewing the intelligence from the Crystal Ball, Isaac put it away and fell into deep thought. ‘Should I first learn Temporary Divine Kingdom and Saint Descension before exploring the New World?’ For him, who possessed the [Analysis] Authority, learning a new spell wasn’t difficult, even a Tier Four one.

However, after a moment of careful consideration, Isaac abandoned the idea.

It was unnecessary.

In terms of sheer power, he was already among the absolute strongest at Tier Four. He was certain to win any fight, be it a group brawl or a one-on-one duel. That being the case, he had no need for those spells.

At least, not right now. He would still have to learn them in the future; after all, that combo was truly effective for exploring a New World.

After putting away the Crystal Ball, Isaac picked up the ring and examined it for a moment. He used his Spiritual Power to communicate with the Magic inscribed on the ring, and an ancient, illusory Magic Book began to unfold before him.

This was the Kingdom Alliance’s mission platform. It listed all sorts of missions: collecting materials, posting bounties on certain Knights or Tier Three Mages, requests to purchase items, and so on and so forth.

The mission content was, one could say, extremely flexible!

Isaac even saw a few missions looking for men and women…

‘Seriously, this is blatant discrimination!’

‘Why weren’t there any looking for an attack helicopter?!’

He clicked his tongue.

Isaac shook his head, casting aside the ridiculous thoughts from his mind and flipping to the very end of the mission board—the War missions!

There were a lot of missions, no fewer than all the miscellaneous ones before them, but the overall content was more or less the same. They were basically missions to attack such-and-such location, with the three factions constantly fighting each other. However, they all shared one common requirement—kill the enemy!

Unlike mercenary missions in the Real World, simply conquering territory didn’t count as completing a mission here. You had to achieve a certain kill-to-death ratio, which prevented the three factions from being used as ATMs while people just farmed their KPIs.

After looking over the War missions, Isaac nodded in satisfaction. It was just as he’d thought; they were almost all straightforward combat assignments, with none of the “infiltrate and gather intelligence” type of quests.

This was normal. A mission like that couldn’t possibly be displayed here, or else wouldn’t the enemy know about it too?

But it was for the best that there were none. For Isaac, those kinds of missions were rather complicated. He preferred things to be simple.

A flash of magical light glittered, and a brand-new ring appeared in Isaac’s hand. Isaac had replicated it from the one his father had given him; both possessed the same level of authority.

For Isaac, cracking a Magic Mark of this level wasn’t difficult.

After handing the new ring to the Silver Knight, Isaac thought for a moment, then posted a long-term mission to collect all sorts of materials. The Isaac of today wasn’t short on money; he was short on materials—an unimaginably vast quantity and variety of them!

Here, perhaps, he could collect a small fraction of them.

Immediately after, with another wave of his hand, he summoned the waiting Maxu Kant—but in its Saint form.

That’s right, its Saint form.

As Virtual Deities, they naturally grasped this ability and could use it as instinctively as breathing. However, the consumption was immense, and the cost was not small.

A normal Saint Descension had two methods. The first was to use the highest-caliber Believers as a vessel—such as a Divine Favored from among the fanatics, or a “Walker on Earth”—to bear the Deity’s power in the material world. But this method would greatly consume the vessel’s lifespan; the longer the duration and the more power they bore, the faster they would die!

They might even just keel over and die on the spot!

The alternative was to pay a price of ninety-nine percent of one’s Divine Power and have one’s main body fall into a deep slumber. Then, one could descend without a vessel.

Overall, while this was more practical than the magic spell version of Saint Descension, the cost was also far greater. Deities rarely used this move.

Isaac’s Virtual Deities, however, could normally enter the material world on their own and exert their power to the fullest. Thus, they had never used such a method before. This was a first.

This was also possible because Maxu Kant’s main body was currently stationary in the Dimension World, acting as a data center. It had no need to move and was also extremely safe.

“You are responsible for providing intelligence support to the Silver Knight and the others. At the same time, use this place as a center and roll out the Demonic Puppet Workshops as quickly as possible.”

“Yes, Divine Master!” Maxu Kant nodded silently, its figure slowly fading away.

At the same time, illusory streams of data began to spread out from the Mage Tower. A purple-black domain formed, and then, one after another, Demonic Puppet Workshops emerged from within the illusory purple realm.

This was the Imaginary Number Domain, Maxu Kant’s signature move after changing its Divinity. It could freely convert matter between virtual data and physical substance. These Demonic Puppet Workshops were compressed packages it had prepared in advance, ready to be deployed anytime, anywhere, to provide the most effective support for the Demonic Puppet Legion!

Once the Demonic Puppet Workshops were decompressed, the Demonic Puppet Legion, led by the Silver Knight, could begin to move. However, they didn’t head straight for the battlefield. Instead, they entered the Demonic Puppet Workshops one by one, including the Silver Knight himself.

This was because before the war officially began, they still needed to undergo a few minor modifications—a few highly targeted ones.

This was one of the greatest advantages of an army of artificial constructs like Golems and Demonic Puppets: they could be flexibly equipped with different configurations depending on the enemy. A simple modification might enhance special warfare capabilities; a more extreme one…

…could change the entire fighting style of a legion!

In theory, this was possible, but it was rarely done in practice. Intelligence was notoriously difficult to gather. In this world of Magic, there were too many ways to interfere with or obscure information.

Therefore, despite its many advantages, few factions aside from the Arcanist nation that housed the Truth Association’s headquarters ever chose to do this. Most simply used standard, conventional loadouts for their legions.

In fact, very few territories equipped them even as conventional legions, because Demonic Puppets and Golems…

…were true money pits to operate!

Some armies could get away with not paying their soldiers, forcing them to serve at their own expense. In extreme cases, they could even make the soldiers take out loans to serve!

But you couldn’t do that with Alchemy Creatures. Without energy, the damn things would just shut down!

The Solomon Territory, for example, had developed its Demonic Puppet Legion into a core military force for two reasons. First, the Demonic Puppets Isaac provided were “alive.” They still required energy, but not an excessive amount, and the expense was completely acceptable considering their significant potential for growth.

Second, they had the Grand Arcanist Cheryl Solomon. With her, they didn’t have to rely on others for the relevant technology. Even the energy supply wasn’t a major issue, as her Mage Tower could produce the necessary Energy Crystals at cost.

And compared to any of those other factions, Isaac’s Demonic Puppet Legion was even more formidable!

This was because Maxu Kant was a Virtual Deity of an extremely high standing. As long as the source was correct, the authenticity of any intelligence it gathered and synthesized through its Authority was practically guaranteed.

A powerful intelligence network, combined with the exceptionally productive Demonic Puppet Workshops…

…gave Isaac’s Demonic Puppet Legion an incredible degree of tactical freedom!

But compared to the Demonic Puppet Legion, Isaac’s own plan of action was much simpler: identify a target, then go kill it.

Being strong meant he could be that brazen.

As for intelligence…that wasn’t important. Gathering intelligence on Tier Four entities wasn’t that easy, not even for Maxu Kant. After all, it was only Tier Four itself.

Besides, even if he were successfully ambushed, the worst that could happen was a serious injury. Escaping with his life was practically guaranteed.

So, after arranging everything, Isaac slipped the ring onto his left index finger. Three streams of divine light flew back into his body. He then took Liu Li, Shushu, and the Saint Master and transformed into a streak of rainbow light, flying off into the distance.

He was heading toward…

…the direction of the Terra Kingdom’s faction!
