Wizard: My Skills Can Infinitely Break Through
Chapter 506 - 359: Rule Reflection, Bloodline Leap
His lifespan had skyrocketed from the original five hundred years to a thousand now, perhaps even longer!
Every cell in his body was now cheering, filled with unprecedented vitality. He had returned to the peak condition of his twenties.
’Ian... A Rule Level bloodline.’
At this moment, Latour understood the reason for the bloodline’s leap.
Though he didn’t fully comprehend the classification of Levels in the Wizard World, a message from deep within his bloodline told him everything.
Ian had crossed that legendary threshold, becoming a being who stood above all of Anoraya.
And as his direct blood relatives, they, his family, had also undergone a fundamental evolution in their very being thanks to the bloodline’s advancement!
In a way he could not comprehend, their family had been transformed from a Level One Mage family into a Morning Star Level Bloodline Warlock Clan!
"Father!" The door to the study was thrown open.
Vincent burst in, his face a mask of panic... and a strange flush.
Ainoya and Lillian followed close behind him, all three having undergone similar changes.
The fine wrinkles at the corners of Ainoya’s eyes had vanished completely. Her skin was now fair and rosy, and a faint golden luster flowed through her hair.
She stood there, her presence as stable as the Earth itself, yet possessing an ineffable purity—the result of the Purification Light now flowing through her bloodline.
The change in Vincent was even more pronounced. Beneath his youthful features, his muscles flowed more smoothly, and faint crimson-gold patterns flickered on the surface of his skin.
He lifted his hand, a small flame dancing in his palm.
"Mother, Brother, you too..."
Lillian was even more excited. The little girl from before had grown into a young woman.
She was now floating half a foot in the air—not by casting any Witchcraft, but because the Gravity Field around her was being distorted by sheer instinct.
"I... I can’t seem to control it..." Lillian said, flailing as she tried to land, her body wobbling uncontrollably.
Latour took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down.
With a mere thought, the distorted Gravity Field returned to normal, and the floating objects slowly fell back to the ground.
"Don’t panic. This is... a tremendously good thing." Latour’s voice grew steady, carrying the authority of the Empire’s founding ruler.
He looked at his wife, son, and daughter, a flash of excitement in his eyes.
"Ian... he has reached a Realm we can’t even imagine. As his blood kin, our bloodline... has evolved along with him."
Ainoya’s eyes instantly welled with tears. Beyond her pride, she felt a deep, profound concern.
She walked to Latour’s side and gently took her husband’s hand. "Where is Ian now?"
"I don’t know."
Latour fell silent for a moment, then gently shook his head. He gazed out the window at the night sky, his eyes seeming to pierce the endless Void.
"But for our bloodline to undergo such a fundamental evolution... he must have reached an incredible height."
Vincent clenched his fist, extinguishing the flame in his palm. His eyes, however, burned with a fervent glow.
"Father, we’re... much stronger than before."
Latour cut him off, his tone stern.
"I know what you’re thinking. But even though we’ve gained greater Power, you must remember his instructions from before he left."
He walked over to his desk, pulled a sheet of Parchment and a Feather Pen from a drawer, and began to write rapidly.
"Vincent."
"Yes, sir!" Vincent snapped to attention, awaiting his orders.
"First thing tomorrow morning, take a squad of your finest men and go to the Shadow Moon Tower."
Latour didn’t raise his head, his voice frighteningly calm.
"Your official reason is to offer tribute. Your actual mission is to gather intelligence. Ian left from there; the High Tower may know his whereabouts."
"I need to know his current status. Even the smallest clue will do."
Vincent puffed out his chest. "Yes! I will not disappoint you, Father."
"One more thing," Latour said, pausing his writing to look up at his son.
"Do your best to hide the changes to our bloodline. You represent the Ratu Empire now, not the Marcus Clan. Understand?"
Vincent nodded firmly. "Understood!"
Latour resumed writing, this time drafting an internal decree for the family.
"From this day forward, the Marcus Clan... no, the entire imperial family of the Ratu Empire... will change its laws of succession."
"Succession will no longer be determined by legitimacy, talent, or gender. The sole priority will be the purity of one’s bloodline."
"We carry the great Sun Bloodline—the name Ian has bestowed upon our new blood."
"In the future, whoever possesses the purest bloodline will be first in line for the throne. As for how to test it..."
With a flicker of his thoughts, a golden speck of light the size of a Rice Grain appeared in Latour’s palm.
"Anyone who can manifest a ’Star Core Mark’ will be qualified to contend for the throne."
Vincent’s eyes narrowed for a moment before wild joy erupted in his heart.
’Though the entire Empire’s future was now tied to bloodline, and the path ahead was uncertain, he was the most direct beneficiary. Among his generation, only he and his sister Lillian had received the bloodline’s gift.’
"Father, there’s something happening outside..." Lillian said softly, pointing to the window.
Latour went to the window and opened it. The Imperial Capital should have been silent in the dead of night.
But now, an invisible Rule Fluctuation was still spreading across the sky above the Imperial Palace.
Though invisible to the naked eye, every Extraordinary Being could perceive that vast, scorching presence, imbued with the majesty of the sun.
All across the Imperial Capital, reclusive Elder Wizards and wandering Extraordinary Beings emerged from their homes.
They looked up toward the Imperial Palace, their faces etched with shock.
"What Level of Power is this... What on earth happened to the Ratu Empire’s imperial family?"
"This kind of fluctuation... it’s likely Level Two!"
"No, it could be even higher..."
Whispers drifted through the night, but no one dared approach the Imperial Palace.
