Chapter 125: Chapter 101: Visiting Members and Red Flame Realm

Olivia turned to look at Zhong Kui. "A Demigod Level Armor, and you completed it independently? This proves your talent in Biological Runes is no lesser than it is in Elements.

"How did you come up with this idea?"

Chen Shang answered frankly, "While handling a plague mission, I encountered a Demon that had accidentally invaded the Plane. I drew inspiration from it."

Olivia said nothing more. She retrieved a silver-white emblem from her robes—an invitation badge featuring an extra ring of gold patterns compared to those of ordinary members. "Are you interested in joining Elemental Storm?"

"Master, I am already a member of Elemental Storm. I passed the assessment." Chen Shang couldn’t quite grasp her intention.

"I’m not talking about the Elemental Storm Association, but becoming an Official Member of the academy under Elemental Storm."

Chen Shang’s eyes widened. She was asking him to switch allegiances. He quickly shook his head. "Master, I’m very sorry, but I have already begun the Cultivation of the Starfall Legacy."

Olivia was not particularly surprised. "Alright, then I invite you to become a visiting member of the academy. You don’t need to leave Star Fall, nor do you need to change your Cultivation. It’s just for academic exchange and attending lectures. In addition, you can use our laboratories.

"Your Water-Fire Fusion model needs a higher precision testing environment, and Star Fall’s equipment is not enough. Elemental City has what you need."

Chen Shang looked at the badge on the table but did not take it immediately. He knew there was no free lunch in the Wizard World.

"Master, you’ve only mentioned the benefits. Do I not need to take on any obligations?"

"Of course there are obligations," Olivia nodded. "First, you need to submit high-quality papers every five years.

"Second, you must acknowledge your status as a visiting member of Elemental Storm."

Chen Shang frowned. He understood submitting papers; Elemental Storm was a very ancient and powerful organization, but it was not rigid, and it constantly needed a stream of fresh blood.

But what kind of obligation was acknowledging his status as a visiting member?

Seeing him deep in thought, Olivia smiled. "You don’t need to overthink it. It’s just like in Star Fall. Haimer needs to produce teaching results, and naturally, Elemental City needs to as well. Visiting members make up a certain percentage of that.

"Of course, it would be even better if you were willing to officially join us."

Chen Shang let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you for your favor, Master. I am willing to become a visiting member."

"Alright. Come directly to Elemental City if you need anything. The address is on the back of the badge." Olivia turned and walked out of the laboratory. A flash of white teleportation light flared at the end of the corridor before dissipating.

Standing before the Recording Platform, Chen Shang picked up the badge and flipped it over to check the back.

Engraved in a line of silver-white text were the coordinates of the seventy-third branch of Elemental City. He put the badge away.

The Red Flame Realm, Elemental City, the Fire Element puzzle piece of the Eye of True Sight... Zhong Kui’s recording, the Cultivation of the Repulsive and Attractive Dual Force—tasks were piling up one after another.

"Why does it feel like I’m getting busier and busier?"

Chen Shang put away the badge and opened the internal database of Elemental City on his Crystal Plate. He selected the Plane information section and typed "Red Flame Realm" into the search bar.

A detailed Plane archive popped up on the system. He spent nearly the time of one Hourglass extracting the key information onto his own Crystal Plate.

The Red Flame Realm, designated FE-036, was a High Magic Plane. The Plane’s structure consisted of a single continent, its surface divided into several regions by magma rivers. It had no oceans and no atmosphere.

However, the Fire Element concentration was extremely high, capable of sustaining respiratory needs in a non-gaseous environment. Temperature range: 300 to 800 degrees Celsius on the surface, reaching over 1500 degrees Celsius inside the magma rivers.

Primary biological classifications: The first category was Flame Sub-humans, who called themselves "Iliet."

They possessed humanoid forms, standing two to three meters tall. Their skin was dark red or dark gray, covered with fine, dense scales, and flame-like manes grew around their joints.

As an intelligent race, they possessed complete tribal structures and language systems. They excelled at forging and smelting, and they had a natural affinity for and control over the Fire Element.

They were also Official Members of the Pan-Wizard Alliance and maintained a long-term cooperative relationship with the Elemental Storm Association. They could be communicated and traded with, but they held a cautious attitude toward outsiders.

The second category was Fire Elemental Spirits, which were Elemental Aggregations. They were non-flesh lifeforms naturally condensed from the pure Fire Element in high-concentration environments.

Their forms varied; Low Tier ones took the shape of fireballs or flaming humanoids, while High Tier ones mimicked mountains, giant beasts, and other shapes. They had low intelligence and were driven by instinct, surviving by devouring the Fire Element, and they exhibited intense aggression toward non-Fire Elemental Creatures.

They possessed extremely strong territorial instincts and became denser the closer one got to the core region.

Danger level: Low Tier individuals ranged from approximately Tier One to Tier Three, Middle Tier individuals were around Tier Four, and High Tier individuals could reach Tier Five or above. Lord Level individuals might exist in the core region.

Chen Shang lifted his head. If he was going to the Red Flame Realm, the greatest danger would come from these Fire Elemental Spirits.

Although they were broadly categorized under similar names, these were not the Natural Spirit Elves derived from the World Tree, but pure Fire Elemental Bodies... Perhaps calling them fire fairies would be more fitting.

Moreover, this kind of lifeform was different from Surtr. Strictly speaking, Surtr was considered part of the Titan System—a Flame Attribute creature. These beings belonged to the Elemental System—Flame Attribute creatures.

Facing such irritable entities, Chen Shang needed to make at least two preparations: first, securing the corresponding protective Witch Artifacts, and second, mapping out a clear route to avoid wandering blindly.

Based on the information, Chen Shang circled four areas on the map of the Red Flame Realm where the Fire Elemental Eye might exist.

The first region: the Molten Lava Lake. The Iliet had several tribes nearby, as they forged in the Molten Lava Lake long-term. According to Elemental Storm’s records, an Apprentice had once discovered fragments of a Fire Source Crystal Core at the bottom of the lake.
