Chapter 330: Chapter 331: The True Realm of Wisdom, the Not-Quite-Dead Soul Saint Spirit

This wasn’t even the limit of the Realm of Wisdom. The three Divine Arts inscribed on the blade were merely in service of the final one.

This Divine Art was named Realm of Wisdom, just like the sword itself. Its purpose was to unfold a domain, trapping enemies inside for a slaughter.

Yes, that’s right. A slaughter!

The reason for this term was that the Realm of Wisdom acted directly upon the soul—it was a Soul Divine Technique.

It extracted an enemy’s soul to be annihilated, controlled, or thrown into chaos.

’The so-called Wisdom Saint Spirit should actually be the God of the Soul.’

Andre looked at the Realm of Wisdom, then gripped the hilt and gave it a light swing, causing the surrounding space to ripple.

’A God of the Soul posing as a God of Wisdom... The implications of this are huge.’

As Andre stared at the Realm of Wisdom in his hand, a golden light flashed through his eyes.

Soul and wisdom were related, but the connection wasn’t absolute. A stronger soul didn’t necessarily mean greater wisdom; the relationship was merely correlational.

’Did this Wisdom Saint Spirit truly perish?’

After swinging it a couple more times, Andre set the Realm of Wisdom aside.

Next, he examined the third item, which was a circlet.

Andre infused it with Divine Power. When he had poured in a sufficient amount, the circlet suddenly levitated and merged with the Realm of Wisdom.

With a crisp CLICK, a brand-new Divine Sword appeared before Andre.

"Soul Blade!" Andre looked at the transformed Realm of Wisdom and reached out to grip its hilt.

The instant his fingertips touched the hilt, a stream of information brutally forced its way into his mind.

The transformed Sword of Wisdom had also changed its name, now known as the Soul Blade. Its purpose was to sever souls—simple and brutal.

But if that were all, the Wisdom Saint Spirit would have had no reason to split the Soul Blade into two separate items.

Though the Soul Blade had only a single Ability, it ignored all physical protection, as well as defenses from Divine Arts and Divine Artifacts, to strike directly at the soul.

Every swing unleashed a Soul Divine Technique.

’Now *this* is more like it. What was that previous information even about?’

Andre gripped the Soul Blade, nodding in satisfaction.

In his opinion, only this sword was worthy of a Wisdom Saint Spirit who had hidden his true identity.

The Realm of Wisdom had been formidable before its transformation, but it had always felt like something was missing.

But at that very moment, a figure materialized from the Soul Blade.

"Wisdom Saint Spirit—no, I should call you Soul Saint Spirit. What is your real Name?"

Andre’s expression shifted as he saw the phantom.

"You can call me Singe."

The Wisdom Saint Spirit—or rather, the Soul Saint Spirit—regarded Andre and said nonchalantly.

"Why did you leave your soul in this Divine Artifact instead of trying to find a way to revive yourself?" Andre inquired, looking at the Soul Saint Spirit’s remnant soul.

For a God of the Soul, physical destruction was a grievous wound, but by no means an unacceptable one.

All Gods of the Soul shared a common trait: they possessed an endless supply of bodies.

This was because Gods of the Soul collected bodies from various races and with differing Talent.

In this way, they could inhabit these bodies, acquiring the unique traits of those races and physiques, thus making themselves even more powerful.

Thus, any body targeted by a God of the Soul would, one way or another, fall into that god’s hands and become their new vessel.

"Given your status in the Pantheon World Group, you must have had thousands, if not tens of thousands, of vessels at your disposal."

"The instant you ’perished,’ you could have easily transferred your soul to another vessel. There was no need to hide it inside this Divine Artifact," Andre asked, genuinely curious.

Faced with Andri’s barrage of questions, the Soul Saint Spirit was momentarily stunned.

He hadn’t expected Andre to be completely unafraid after seeing his current state; on the contrary, the young man seemed to be questioning him with great interest.

"Aren’t you afraid I’ll take you as my new vessel?" the Soul Saint Spirit asked Andre after a long, stunned silence.

"If you can do it, then by all means, try."

Andre raised an eyebrow at the Soul Saint Spirit. ’My soul is protected by the System, after all.’

’The Dean couldn’t even discover the System’s existence, let alone this mere remnant soul before me.’

Therefore, Andre was certain the ethereal soul before him couldn’t harm his own soul in any way.

He had chosen to provoke the Soul Saint Spirit to learn the identity of the master of the giant golden hand, as well as the true purpose of the great expedition of the All Gods.

Seeing Andre’s behavior, a flash of blind rage flared up within the Soul Saint Spirit, but he immediately suppressed it.

’For Andre to provoke me so brazenly, he must have some way of dealing with me.’

With that thought, the Soul Saint Spirit made a casual gesture, and the Soul Blade, which Andre had been holding, flew into his hand.

"You already gave it to me, and now you’re taking it back?"

Andri casually reached out and snatched the Soul Blade right back.

"You—" The Soul Saint Spirit’s eyes widened as he stared at Andre, unable to believe someone could be so shameless.

"You gave this to me when I found your body in that other world. What, you forgot?"

Andre took a Divine Power Crystal from his Storage Ring and waved it in front of the Soul Saint Spirit.

The Soul Saint Spirit grimaced at the sight of the very familiar Divine Power Crystal but ultimately kept his mouth shut.

"I’ve also seen the scroll you all left behind."

"That great Divine Spirit... why did he use you as a vanguard and then try to refine the entire World Group?"

"Wasn’t he afraid of encountering a being on his own level within this World Group?" Andre asked with a sigh, looking at the Soul Saint Spirit who had clammed up and clearly didn’t intend to say anything.

After Andre posed his two questions, the Soul Saint Spirit couldn’t hold back any longer. "You could actually see that being?" he asked, incredulous.

"He was right there in the scroll, wasn’t he? Why wouldn’t I be able to see him?" Andre immediately shot back.

"That was a Light Origin Deity! The divine radiance emanating from his body is enough to blind anyone."

"If a viewer lacks sufficient strength, a single glance would have burned both their body and soul to cinders. How are you completely unscathed?"

The Soul Saint Spirit stared at Andre as if he were looking at a monster.
