Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 319 - 320: Barbaric Universe World
Chapter 319: Chapter 320: Barbaric Universe World
But just as the Dean was about to traverse space and summon his avatar...
The fluctuations from the Witchcraft caught the attention of a being dwelling on a floating mountain range.
After sensing the anomaly, this being sent a message to its friends.
Then, the being unfolded wings that seemed to blot out the sun. With a single, gentle flap, it arrived at the world’s barrier.
It then prepared to cross the barrier into the Star Realm.
Just as the winged being was about to cross the world barrier, three black dots appeared in the blink of an eye, speeding toward it.
Soon, the three other beings arrived beside the winged one.
Then, they began to cross the world barrier together.
As these beings prepared to cross the barrier, the Dean spotted their figures.
The Barbaric Universe World had been radiating an endless light.
But now, four black dots suddenly appeared in the space directly before the Dean. This made him, in the middle of preparing his Summoning Technique, instantly become vigilant.
He then waved his hand, casting a spell of Witchcraft upon his eyes to get a better look at the black dots.
The moment he saw them clearly, the Dean vanished from his spot.
Just after the Dean left, the beings instantly passed through the world barrier, arriving at the exact spot where he had just been.
"A strange scent!"
A being with two tusks protruding from its mouth surveyed the area and began sniffing the air repeatedly.
As its nostrils flared, numerous scents from the void were drawn into its nose.
"Is it those guys from before?"
The being with the sun-blotting wings asked the tusked one with a frown.
"No, it’s the complete opposite. This scent doesn’t contain that many Souls."
The tusked being shook its head at the winged one.
"In that case, this being might just be passing through."
A being with antlers, dressed in a light purple leather skirt, observed its surroundings.
As its light purple eyes scanned the area, the surrounding space began to ripple, revealing everything the previous being had done.
"Mmm, spatial fluctuations, indeed. It seems they were just in a hurry to get somewhere."
The antlered being nodded at its friends.
"Yes, but we can’t let our guard down. We absolutely cannot allow the tragedy that happened one hundred thousand years ago to befall our world again."
A bewitching woman, her forked tongue constantly flicking, spoke with a very grave expression.
After the snake-tongued being spoke, the winged, tusked, and antlered beings all nodded in agreement.
Before, the arrival of those so-called Divine Spirits nearly severed the lineage of the Barbaric Universe World, which had only just managed to develop its civilization.
Although their side won the war against the Divine Spirits with the help of the world’s consciousness and the support of resources from surrounding worlds...
...the price of that victory was too painful. Even after 100,000 years, the Barbaric Universe World has yet to fully recover.
It has only just regained its vitality and is still a long way from returning to the golden age it enjoyed 100,000 years ago.
That was precisely why the winged being had refined its original home into an artifact, moved it into the sky, and constantly monitored the movements within the Star Realm.
"Let’s head back now."
After searching the area around the Barbaric Universe World once more, the four of them returned inside to protect its safety.
And as the four returned to the Barbaric Universe World, in the very spot where the Dean had been, space began to flip open, page by page like a book.
When the thirteenth layer was turned, the Dean slowly stepped out of the spatial fold, his face showing a trace of fear as he looked at the Barbaric Universe World before him.
He hadn’t expected that simply trying to summon his avatar from the Main Institute...
...would cause these Level 6 Creatures from the Barbaric Universe World to charge out and hunt for him.
’Aren’t these guys a little too vigilant?’
’And what was that they said? A tragedy from one hundred thousand years ago?’
’What tragedy?’ the Dean pondered. Then, he recalled the aura of Divine Power he had sensed.
’Could it be that the Divine Spirits previously discovered this world and tried to conquer it, but failed?’
’If that’s the case, I’ll have to raise our assessment of the Barbaric Universe World by one or two Levels.’
As the Dean thought of this, his face turned grim. His figure then slowly faded, and he departed.
Right now, re-evaluating the situation inside the Barbaric Universe World was the top priority. As for rescuing Andre, that would have to wait.
If the true situation within the Barbaric Universe World exceeded the reconnaissance of the vanguard legion and the first Expedition Squad...
...then the operations of their three Wizard Academies in this World Group could very well be completely overturned by these beings from the Barbaric Universe World, causing all their efforts to be for naught.
’Andre received the blessing of the Wizard Civilization Will. Besides his own efforts and the unique path he walks, luck is also a crucial component.’
’Otherwise, with so many unique paths in the Wizard World, why is it that only Andre and a few others have received the favor of the Wizard Civilization Will?’
’I hope Andre’s luck can still pull him through.’
At that moment, the Dean entrusted Andre’s life to the whims of elusive luck.
He then sped away. He needed to discuss how to deal with the Barbaric Universe World with the deans of the other two Wizard Academies.
The sudden appearance of these Level 6 Creatures from the Barbaric Universe World had completely upended the three academies’ previous plans for it.
They had to formulate a new plan!
Meanwhile, after passing through the Space Gate, Andre tumbled across the ground a few times before getting back to his feet.
When he stood up, he saw the Morning Sky not far from him, half-buried in a deep crater it had gouged into the earth.
Andre immediately walked over, woke up Wei Xing, and went into the Morning Sky’s Central Control Room.
"Wei Xing, run a diagnostic on the ship’s hull."
Andre issued the command the moment he entered the Central Control Room.
Wei Xing’s projection appeared before Andre, nodded at him, and began inspecting the hull. The results came back quickly.
"Aside from some minor damage to the hull’s surface, all other functions are normal."
Wei Xing’s answer made Andre breathe a sigh of relief.
At the same time, he began to wonder. Just what kind of Power, what kind of being, had brought him to this world?
He had wanted to leave the Cosmic Sea World, but he never said he wanted to leave like *this*.
