Chapter 318: Chapter 319: Barbaric Universe World

"What’s happening?"

The Dean’s eyes flew open as he watched Andre get sucked into the portal. He immediately shot out his right hand, trying to pull Andre back.

But the pull from the other side was immense. In the blink of an eye, Andre was yanked into another world, taking the Morning Sky with him.

The Dean panicked. Andre was blessed by the Wizard Civilization Will and had a history of accomplishing the impossible.

Now, he’d suddenly been thrown into a world even the Dean didn’t recognize. Leaving aside the question of whether Andre could even return,

if anything happened to Andre, the Academy couldn’t afford such a devastating loss.

But the portal closed quickly. The moment the Morning Sky was pulled through, it slammed shut.

Slicing off half of the Dean’s finger in the process.

The Dean stared at the severed part of his finger on the floor, his face turning grim.

Just as his finger was passing through the portal, he had felt a faint trace of Divine Power emanating from the other world.

He didn’t know the specifics, but for a Wizard like Andre, this was certainly not a good thing.

Divine Spirits and Wizards had always been mortal enemies. Whenever the two sides met, they would inevitably end up in a desperate struggle.

"This is trouble. Notify the mothership. Use the most powerful means at your disposal to find the Morning Sky’s signal. We absolutely cannot let anything happen to Andre."

The Dean gestured with his hand, and the severed piece of his finger on the floor flew back to him. It seamlessly reattached to the stump, looking as good as new.

"Yes, sir." The Captain nodded. Then, with a sweep of his hand, a spatial passage opened before him.

The Captain stepped inside. When he emerged a moment later, he was already back on the mothership.

He then issued the order: the mothership was to use its most powerful sensor arrays to find Andre at all costs.

They had to know which world Andre was currently in.

Soon, an extremely faint signal appeared on the projection.

"This is...?" When the Captain saw the location displayed on the projection, his pupils instantly contracted to pinpricks.

It was because this world was the only Level 6 World in this entire World Group.

After this Level 6 World was discovered by the vanguard, the three Wizard Academies had come to a joint decision.

When the time was right, they would concentrate the full power of the three Wizard Academies to conquer this Level 6 World.

But now, Andre had somehow ended up in that very world. This was a true disaster.

The Captain immediately used Witchcraft to report Andre’s location to the Dean.

Upon receiving the message, the Dean’s face went from grim to utterly black. He immediately departed the Cosmic Sea World and headed for the Level 6 World.

The three Wizard Academies had jointly named this Level 6 World the Barbaric Universe World, as the world inside was still in a very primitive and savage era of its formation.

A few breaths later, the Dean’s figure appeared outside the Barbaric Universe World.

The Dean gazed at the Barbaric Universe World, which radiated a dazzling light, a look of deep apprehension in his eyes.

The Barbaric Universe World was a Level 6 World, and according to the definitions used by both the Wizard World and the Endless Star Realm,

a Level 6 World could give birth to Level 6 Creatures—powerhouses equivalent to a Red Sun Great Wizard.

This was the absolute limit for beings that could be naturally born from a world.

But that wasn’t the full extent of a Level 6 World’s capabilities.

A complete Level 6 World could support a Level 6 Creature’s ascension to become a Truth Great Wizard, or an Origin Deity of equivalent power.

But that wasn’t what worried the Dean. What truly concerned him was that when he had tried to pull Andre back, he had sensed the aura of Divine Power from within the Barbaric Universe World.

This inevitably brought some very unpleasant possibilities to his mind.

’Don’t tell me there are Deities inside the Barbaric Universe World?’

’But that can’t be right. When the vanguard squad entered the Barbaric Universe World, they didn’t detect any traces of Deities. So what is going on?’

’Could it be that, like with the Multi-Body World, the remains of several Divine Spirits fell into the Barbaric Universe World?!’

The Dean gazed at the Barbaric Universe World before him, his eyes thick with apprehension.

He wanted to enter the Barbaric Universe World to find Andre and bring him back.

However, the suppression from the world’s consciousness was a problem he could not ignore.

A Level 6 World was certain to have Level 6 Creatures. If he forced his way into the Barbaric Universe World, he would inevitably be targeted and suppressed by the world’s consciousness.

Suppression alone would be one thing, but the world’s consciousness would also notify the Level 6 Creatures within the Barbaric Universe World, directing them to either expel him or kill him.

Without the world consciousness’s suppression, dealing with two or three Level 6 Creatures by himself would be no issue.

But under its suppression, he would be at a disadvantage when encountering the Level 6 Creatures native to the Barbaric Universe World.

Although he could rely on the sheer strength of the Wizard Power system to face a single Level 6 Creature even while his own abilities were restricted...

The problem was, a Level 6 World would never have just one Level 6 Creature.

If he were surrounded by Level 6 Creatures, he would be grievously wounded even if he managed to escape. He could even perish there.

Perishing itself wasn’t what the Dean feared. Ever since becoming a Morning Star, he had periodically set up contingencies for his resurrection in many places across the Endless Star Realm, including several avatars kept in a state of suspended animation.

Even if he were to perish in the Barbaric Universe World, he could rely on these contingencies and avatars to return to the Academy.

But the price of perishing was, for the Dean, extremely hard to bear.

Because the price was paid in Power and Realm.

He was currently a Red Sun Great Wizard. If he were to perish in the Barbaric Universe World and revive through his contingencies, his Realm would plummet to that of a newly advanced Level 6 Witch Vision—Klein’s current level. It might even drop further, reducing him to a Moonlight.

This was because every time he was resurrected, his Soul would suffer a grievous blow.

’This is real trouble!’

The Dean frowned at the sight of the Barbaric Universe World, but for him, the situation was not entirely without a solution.

The Dean began to wave his hands and chant a Spell, preparing to summon one of his spare avatars directly from the Main Institute.

He would then have this avatar infiltrate the Barbaric Universe World and bring Andre back.

Although, if the avatar were to perish or suffer a near-death experience after he activated it, his own Soul would still be damaged.

But at most, it would only cause him to lose a portion of his Soul Power for a short time.

This lost Soul Power could be gradually recovered through Potions and practice.

Compared to the price of his Realm falling, this was a cost he could accept.
