Chapter 507: Chapter 495: Purification Fleet

Allen did not act rashly.

He controlled Gabriel, standing his ground and maintaining the exact same alert posture as the other two ancient war machines.

One minute, five minutes, ten minutes passed.

There was no sign of anything unusual. The two Ancient Golems paid him no mind, treating him like a properly functioning "colleague."

Allen understood.

After overwriting Gabriel’s core, the authority level inherent to this body had automatically earned him the "trust" of the entire logic virus network.

Moreover, Gabriel was one of the strongest units in his legion. Within this rigid hierarchical order, it was automatically classified as a "high-privilege unit."

Allen turned his gaze to the silent Teleportation Star Gate.

The Runes on the semi-circular structure had dimmed. Its Magic Power supply had been cut for three years, but the structure was intact. All it needed was to be reconnected to a Magic Source to activate again.

He strode directly toward the Star Gate.

The two Ancient Golems behind him remained perfectly still.

Gabriel quickly reactivated the Magic Power supply interface at the base of the Star Gate.

One by one, the Runes lit up, brightening from a dull glow. Within the gate’s frame, the deep darkness was illuminated, transforming into a splendid, swirling vortex of iridescent light.

The Star Gate was restarted.

The passage to the central hub of the Great Library Plane was now open before him.

Escape was just one step away.

Allen paused. He glanced left and right; the surrounding Golems still showed no reaction.

’Returning to the Association, reporting the situation, and requesting support is the optimal choice.’

’Safe, reliable, rational.’

But the image of that colossal structure under construction surfaced in his mind. ’This is no ordinary enemy stronghold.’

’Tens of thousands of Golems have been serving it for three whole years, transporting and assembling parts day and night. What exactly is hidden inside?’

’Leaving is easy, but coming back will be difficult. This is a rare opportunity for reconnaissance; if I miss it, I won’t get another.’

Allen hesitated for only a moment before making his decision.

SWOOSH!

Eight wings of light unfurled.

Gabriel transformed into a streak of white light, shooting straight toward the magnificent structure at speeds far exceeding the sound barrier.

The closer he got, the more Allen could feel an immense "order," like an invisible gravity pulling all mechanical creations into precise, operational orbits.

The density of Golems along the way increased dramatically. Thousands of them moved in orderly lines, transporting cut metal components.

Peacekeepers and Spider Slayers stood guard in formation. Occasionally, a few war machines emanating Level 2 Magic Power fluctuations would fly overhead—perhaps the "management" of this area.

They all paid Gabriel no mind.

No, it wasn’t that they paid him no mind.

When Allen passed a squad of Factory Servants carrying metal plates, they uniformly halted and cleared a path for him.

’It seems I hold a rather high "social status" in this kingdom ruled by the logic virus.’

Allen suppressed the sense of absurdity rising within him and maintained a silent, steady flight speed—not too fast, not too slow, like a general on a routine inspection.

He was getting closer.

Allen brazenly flew directly into an entrance at the top of the massive, mysterious structure.

The scene inside the mysterious building finally unfolded before his eyes.

This was not the temple or altar he had anticipated.

It was a shipyard.

A colossal shipyard, beyond all imagination.

Countless Engineering Golems of all shapes and sizes were cutting, smelting, shaping, and assembling pieces of various supernatural metals salvaged from the ruins—metals Allen had never even heard of.

And in the very center of the shipyard, a massive war machine was nearing completion.

It was a warship.

A warship at least 1,500 meters long.

Its streamlined hull resembled a silver longsword forged to perfection, hanging silently on its keel frame. The main cannon at the bow had a caliber of over one hundred meters, and its sides were densely packed with hundreds of weapon launch ports. Over ninety percent of the outer armor plating was already in place.

’So these Golems, controlled by the Mechanical Realm, have spent three years building a warship?’

He retracted his wings of light and silently moved beneath the warship.

He didn’t approach the working Golems, nor did he attempt to destroy anything. Any action unbefitting his "status" could alert the "master" behind this entire system.

A colossal shadow loomed over him. Above was the warship’s silver underbelly, making it feel as if he were walking beneath an inverted city.

Allen moved deeper along a maintenance passage on the ship’s outer hull.

The temperature inside the ship was considerably higher than outside. The low hum of a power preheating system, still active somewhere, vibrated through the thick metal walls, like the breathing of a waking behemoth.

Golems were busy around every corner, and every corridor exuded a sense of advanced technology.

Allen proceeded unimpeded. His infiltration was surprisingly smooth, but he couldn’t help feeling the anxiousness of a thief.

Allen found an open hatch amidships and went inside.

Inside was a wide main corridor, likely leading toward the bow.

The compartments on either side of the corridor were mostly complete—the outlines of an armory and an engine room were clearly discernible.

He explored in the direction of the bow.

Finally, he found himself standing in a hemispherical chamber.

A 180-degree panoramic observation window offered a view of most of the shipyard. The circular control console below had no buttons or gauges.

There was only a single, fist-sized crystal embedded in a raised platform at the very center, glowing with a faint, bluish-white light.

Allen looked around but found no other equipment, not even a single seat.

He turned his attention back to the crystal.

’Intuition told him that crystal was probably a huge prize.’

’I’ve come this far. Hesitating now would be a crime.’

Allen stepped forward, and Gabriel’s fingers touched the crystal.

In an instant, information flooded into him like a tidal wave.

[Welcome to the—Purification Technology Core Database.]

[Current Project: Purification Fleet · Capital Ship.]

Allen was stunned. ’This is...?’

He quickly browsed the project files.

They actually contained the warship’s complete structural diagrams, power system designs, weapon module blueprints, armor alloy formulas...

After a moment’s thought, Allen immediately issued a command: ’Request full data backup.’

[Request Received.]

[Transfer Commencing.]

’There isn’t even a firewall.’

The first thing Allen transferred was the weapon blueprints.

["Zero-Out" Antimatter Annihilation Main Cannon charging and firing theoretical model]

Peak output equivalent to the full-power strike of a Morning Star Wizard! Capable of sinking a continent!

["Plasma Bombardment Cannon" secondary battery], a single shot can annihilate an island!

["Anti-Witchcraft Field" Force Field construction plan], based on a Force Field generation principle he had never seen before.

Transfer! Transfer! Transfer!

Allen’s very soul was trembling.

He felt like a mouse that had snuck into a granary, only to discover an endless supply of food!

Judging by the descriptions alone, every single one of these weapons was Morning Star-level technology. Of all the top-tier weapon blueprints he had seen in his life, none were on this scale.

And right now, they were pouring into his mind like water from a tap.

It took a full hour for all this knowledge to finish transferring.

Allen eagerly scrolled down.

[Dimensional Navigation Engine Manufacturing Instructions]

[Alpha Level Intelligence "Holy Cabinet" · Base Logic Code]

There were thirty-two unheard-of alloy formulas, thirteen of which had a theoretical strength exceeding the Earth Vein Tempered Steel he had developed.

And over 3,700 derivative application technologies...

Allen was dazzled. This sudden windfall of fortune was so overwhelming that, for the first time ever, he found himself paralyzed by choice.

After a moment’s thought, Allen locked onto the [Dimensional Navigation Engine Manufacturing Instructions]—from the name alone, he knew what a trump card this was.

Transfer progress: 47%... 63%... 78%...

’Hm? What’s this?’

Allen came across a file labeled "Mechanical Realm · Base Protocol."

Its classification level was a full two tiers higher than any other file he had seen, and its encryption level was on par with the base commands of the entire Purification network.

He opened it and was about to take a look.

Suddenly, all the lights in the shipyard went out at once.

When they came back on, they were all a blinding, scarlet red.
