Chapter 1512: Chapter 1512: Can You Hear Me Speaking?

Olly shook her head, "I think the Young Master is sleeping very heavily, like he’s completely exhausted. I knocked on the door several times, but there was no response."

Scarlett Yates could no longer sit still.

Her expression changed slightly, and she turned to head toward the stairs.

"Wait, Young Madam." Olly chased after her, grabbed her arm, and lowered her voice mysteriously, "Young Madam, it’s better not to wake the Young Master. Let him sleep a bit longer. Um... I heard it from my aunt, in times like this, you should make him some restorative soup. My aunt even has the recipe. I’ll call her right away and have the kitchen make a pot, so he can drink it when he wakes up."

She emphasized, "This restorative soup is really effective, drink it and you’ll feel as good as new."

Scarlett was stunned for a few seconds before she realized that Olly seemed to have misunderstood something.

It was as if a flock of crows flew over her head. Her mouth twitched, "No need."

But Olly continued to eagerly recommend, "Young Madam, it’s really effective. My uncle drinks it every day, and he’s almost fifty and still full of energy."

Hmm, even though the Young Master is still young and full of vigor, if he’s too... frequent, his body can’t handle it well.

Drinking the restorative soup isn’t only good for the Young Master’s health but also beneficial for the Young Madam, right?

At this point, Scarlett had no mind to discuss this further with her.

She was preoccupied with why Matthew Saxon hadn’t woken up yet, anxious to go upstairs to check on him. Seeing how Olly seemed to have so much more to say, she didn’t have the time to explain everything in detail and just nodded, saying, "You handle it as you see fit."

Olly was delighted, patting her chest reassuringly, and smiled, "Don’t worry, Young Madam. I’ll call my aunt right away and make sure the Young Master drinks it after he..."

She raised her eyebrows slightly with a meaningful smile and a knowing look on her face.

--

Scarlett hurried up the stairs, almost jogging the entire way.

She pushed the door open and walked in. The room was just as quiet as when she left, with no sound except for her own footsteps.

As she walked further in, she saw that the large bed in the middle of the bedroom still had someone lying on it, Matthew Saxon, who remained in the same sleeping posture as before, seemingly having not moved at all.

The gentle light of the bedside lamp was still there, with heavy curtains blocking out the light, making the room as dim as it would be at night.

"Matthew Saxon, wake up."

She wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but after having breakfast, looking at Matthew now, she felt like his complexion seemed worse.

His face was even paler, with no color on his lips at all, and because the air was dry in the heated room, his lips were slightly chapped.

She called out to him, but Matthew showed no reaction, still fast asleep, his eyelids not even twitching.

Scarlett’s heart tightened, her feeling of unease growing stronger. She sat down by the bed, pushed his body, and called out again, "Matthew Saxon, wake up, stop sleeping."

He still didn’t move, as if this deep sleep would last forever.

A chill crept up from her feet to her heart.

Scarlett’s expression changed again, this time she pushed him harder and raised her voice, "Matthew Saxon, Matthew Saxon, wake up, can you hear me?"
