Who would study psychology unless they had some issues?!

Chapter 1115 - 831: Nan Zhubin’s Aptitude Problem

  • Next Chapter

Jie Nianzhou still had tasks assigned by Bi Yanling to complete today, so the consultation ended very punctually.

Turning off the video call on his phone, Nan Zhubin rubbed his temples and began adjusting Jie Nianzhou’s subsequent consultation plans based on today’s progress. The consultant needs to dynamically adjust the consultation content according to changes in the visitor, but the overall consultation plan framework cannot be lacking.

"Whew—" After a while, Nan Zhubin closed his notebook, finishing his records.

He walked towards his next consultation room, calculating in his mind.

[Bi Yanling’s situation... indeed has significant issues.]

If only Jie Nianzhou could switch to a normal mentor. Nan Zhubin thought this to himself.

But such things are easier said than done.

...

While Nan Zhubin was conducting psychological consultation, Director He’s clinic was also in continuous operation.

Compared to the psychological consultation room, this place was far more chaotic.

Director He glanced at the shadowy figures outside and sighed inwardly.

The numbering for the clinic is sequential, but patients entering might not be orderly. Especially towards the end of the morning, around eleven thirty, a large number of patients who had previously received test sheets would come back with results to see Director He.

Sometimes, it’s not just these patients; a whole swarm can gather suddenly.

"Get someone." Director He rubbed his temples, "Call in those waiting for reports outside. One by one, in order."

The words were directed at the trainees behind him.

The interns exchanged glances, remaining unmoved; the master’s degree interns looked around, their gaze landing on the outermost part of the crowd.

The familiar senior, sitting almost right next to Director He, was the most convenient for entering and exiting. He immediately stood up upon hearing Director He’s words, quickly walked to the door, and opened it: "Anyone here for checking results? If so..."

Before he could finish speaking, three people squeezed through the doorway like water gushing out of a sluice gate, directly bypassing the familiar senior and heading straight towards Director He.

"... if so, line up." The familiar senior blinked, and then his latter half of the sentence slowly came out, blocking the remaining patients and their family members wanting to squeeze in outside.

In the trio, the young man walking at the front immediately quickened his pace like in a race walk, leaving behind a young woman and a middle-aged person in his fifties.

"Dr. He, here’s my report sheet." Subsequently, as if finishing a sprint, he was the first to slap his test results onto Director He’s desk.

"Okay." Director He nodded, taking it.

The two following were momentarily stunned, one opened his mouth as if to speak but was under the guidance of the familiar senior, quietly exited the clinic.

With a ’click’ sound, the door was closed again, and the familiar senior retreated sideways to his seat. He hadn’t had the chance to flip back his notebook to its original page when the clinic door suddenly opened once again.

An elderly woman stumbled in, unsteady in her steps but aggressive in demeanor, like a senile old goose.

She was holding a phone in her hand, its screen lit up, displaying a call interface. Once inside, she ignored everyone, her gaze fixed directly on Director He, pushing the phone towards his ear.

"Doctor. The director downstairs sent me here for an appointment, please add me. You tell him to tell you—"

She spoke while pushing the phone closer to Director He’s ear, forcefully enough nearly knocking the phone against his face.

"I have a patient here, please go queue up." Director He turned his head to dodge the woman’s phone, paid her no mind, and continued speaking to the patient in front of him, "Your ECG has no issues."

"Hey, doctor, add me to the schedule..."

Director He remained focused: "This dosage seems stable, how long do you want the prescription to be?"

"The director downstairs sent me here..."

The patient across from Director He glanced at the elderly woman, opened his mouth, and simply said, "Two weeks then..."

The elderly woman remained still, but everyone present very tactfully ignored her.

The elderly woman stood holding her phone for a moment, seeing no one approaching her, stepped back two steps and loudly spoke into the phone: "Director, this doctor won’t add me to the schedule—"

As she spoke, she surveyed the surroundings and her gaze began darting between the trainees behind Director He.

Meanwhile, because the elderly woman hadn’t closed the door upon entering, four more patients and family members waiting to see reports in the corridor came in, standing against the wall from afar.

Seeing the situation outside, it seemed there were more trying to squeeze in.

The familiar senior couldn’t sit still, stood up and said, "Line up—Line up!"

The four just entered went out again. But the elderly woman remained unmoved.

The familiar senior braced himself and stepped forward: "Ma’am, Director He currently has a patient, let’s queue outside, one by one..."

"I’m here for the appointment." The elderly woman flicked her hand, "The director downstairs sent me, just add me."

"You have the director tell you, you have the director tell you." She spoke loudly, while raising her phone towards the familiar senior’s face.

Appointments require Director He to sign the slip.

The familiar senior blinked, glanced towards Director He—Director He showed no response.

He then turned to the elderly woman again: "Ma’am, please queue. Wait outside a bit, once the current patient finishes, we can talk—"
