Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon?
Chapter 1806 - 1061: This Is Sain!
Walking into the Underground City Teleportation Gate felt routine for Onora.
Yet this time as she stepped into the Teleportation Gate, she was filled with a sense of wonder as though it was her first time, her heart brimming with anticipation for the unknown—not that saying it this way would reflect the great extent of her expectations.
On the other side of the Teleportation Gate was the Sain Dungeon!
Since learning that the Abyss came from the Sain Dungeon, Onora had often thought about going there, but she had never succeeded once due to her identity and various other reasons; it was difficult even to leave the Great Demon City.
But now, the Sain Dungeon had come to her!
How lucky could she be, luckier than winning billions in a lottery.
In retrospect, it seemed like her routine life had taken a turn when the Great Demon Tree was burned.
The Mad Fire burned the Great Demon Tree and the Great Demon City to the ground, the barely consolidated Demon Clan split apart once more, and she was booted out of her daily life, leading the army to battle across north and south.
Such a life, however, brought more joy, filled with unknowns, making each day worth looking forward to.
Onora felt that nothing in the future would ever bring as much anticipation as this moment—something she had dreamed of was now right before her.
She stepped inside, her figure vanishing beyond the Teleportation Gate.
The gathered Demon Clan members turned to look at Chrono, but he appeared lost in thought on different matters, only noticing their gaze after some time, shaking his head and saying:
"Let’s wait half an hour before we go in."
Who would dare interrupt Onora now—anyone could see she did not want anyone near at this moment.
Could this mean that Onora is going to face the Abyss alone for our safety?
Chrono was momentarily touched by the scenario he imagined.
Meanwhile, Onora had successfully arrived in the Twilight Dungeon.
She was in the thick darkness that all first-time entrants would encounter, but her demeanor was superb.
Instead of panicking at the sudden darkness, she seemed intrigued, observing her surroundings, though all around was dark.
"Still, the most comfortable place is in the night."
The dense darkness involuntarily reminded her of the Abyss, creating a familiar sensation with the darkness.
At this moment, the Dark Ring ignited within the darkness, illuminating the pitch black, forming a visual impression comparable to the Sun’s dark ring before Onora.
Having learned of this from Chrono, Onora was not surprised by the appearance of the enormous ring of fire.
She admired the Dark Ring with eyes appreciating art.
Other members of the Demon Clan were clueless about this, but she knew—it’s the Dark Ring, the mark of the curse on the Undead Man.
"Indeed, it is the authentic Sain Dungeon."
Suddenly, the ground beneath Onora’s feet fell away, causing her to plummet downward.
She beckoned, and a thick stream of Black Mud surfaced on the skin, rapidly expanding in mass and accelerating downward.
Finally, beneath her feet formed a column piercing straight into the Ash, stabilizing her entirely.
Onora stepped forward into the air, Black Mud flowed beneath supporting her soles, allowing her to descend step by step while observing her surroundings.
The view was foreign, yet several areas looked familiar, as she knew the characteristics of various regions in the Sain Dungeon through countless Demon Clan reports, even as she had never seen it firsthand.
Now looking at it, these areas looked almost identical to her imagination, Sain truly fulfilled her expectations!
On this Demon Continent, if Onora claimed she had the second most intelligence on the Sain Dungeon, nobody would dare to claim first.
She personally dispatched numerous Demon Clan spies, reporting exclusively to her, their numbers exploding recently... although spies were constantly dying.
The abundant intelligence brought back by spies was mostly kept to herself.
This intelligence from the Sain Dungeon was meant for her sole enjoyment!
The gap between the two continents led to the inevitable disparity in intelligence transmission speed; human events would take months to reach the Demon Clan, yet Onora could compress this time to one or two weeks, naturally possessing a strategic advantage in intelligence.
Due to some personal interest, Onora did not share this intelligence with her fellow Demons.
Certainly not out of a desire for monopoly, certainly not but merely a normal retention of one’s side’s advantage.
Thus she finds herself allied with Chrono, who barely had a blurred impression of Fran Fort, whereas Onora knew the latest on Ulashiro by heart.
This woman had hidden a great deal even from her comrades!
She did have reasons for this though; sharing intelligence with other Demon Clan members seemed futile, even if disclosed—would they go? Ninety-nine percent would likely not.
