What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1507: It’s Just The Fourth Day Of School

  • Next Chapter

It was my fourth day of school at this point and somehow, it felt like I’ve been through a few weeks instead of a few days with what has happened in just these past few days so far.

For today, I had Geomancy and Hydromancy in the morning which was followed by Aeromancy and Lumenmancy after lunch.

Geomancy class was... Interesting... The class was taught by a male Rejmar named Professor Starner who had a really impressive looking beard which I was quite sure he spends his mornings styling.

I could tell he was quite dedicated to this subject and he was very passionate about it as well.

We had to create a rock platform that we had to maintain and control to lift ourselves up into the air in order to listen in on the class.

If you don’t maintain your stone platform, you will just fall back down towards the ground which was designed to cushion your fall. But if you were not above the ground, you would be unable to listen to the class.

The interesting part was that you could make the platform as big or small as you wanted so technically... You could make your platform big enough for other students to use as well, so some students got the bright idea of combining their rocks together to form a large platform where several of them controlled it together to maintain their levitation.

Of course, I did mine alone without any problems and no one wanted to share a platform with me anyway, considering my current status as a villainess.

Hydromancy class was, in my opinion, quite brutal.

Our professor for that class was a mermaid who introduced herself as Professor Oceianne who floated into class where her lower half was submerged in a pool of water.

I understood that she was using her Hydromancy to control where the water ball was headed to which in turn helped transport her.

That was quite an interesting idea and I wondered if Delmare ever thought of doing something like that?

Though I doubt she would want to change her current way of doing things because she quite clearly preferred having my legs on her.

As for why the class was brutal... The doors shut themselves and the entire hall got flooded with water, where the only way for you to stay dry was to control the water to form a bubble around you which you would use to keep the water away from you.

Failure would mean you get instantly submerged inside the water and your notes will get wet, and this was already not considering the fact that you would probably be drowning as well...

As for my Aeromancy class, I was not even surprised to see a literal mini tornado burst into the hall and introduced herself as professor Windia, a Fuelite who was made out of wind.

Yeah, I couldn’t have guessed either... Would have been funny if a Fuelite made of another element was teaching the class.

As for what was expected of us... It was kind of the same with Hydromancy class but instead of being submerged in water, we were constantly being battered by the winds that blew through the class and the only way to stop it was to control the air around us to form a barrier to protect ourselves from it.

My Lumenmancy class was taught by Professor Leanarios who had professed herself to be a priestess of Isre and is also working as a priestess in the temple within the city.

She didn’t actually do anything special that would hinder us from listening to her lesson and she actually conducted it like a ’normal’ lesson.

By normal, I meant that she was just teaching us the lesson standing in front of us like the teachers from history and maths classes without using any magic that would require us to split our attention.

But after experiencing all the different classes and how the lessons were being taught by those professors... I actually think that more students would fail this Lumenmancy class than all the other classes.

The reason being that the other professors who would put up these hindrances to make learning difficult would lower the difficulty of understanding the lesson itself. They would basically give you the answer to advancing your proficiency in that particular magic step by step so all you needed to do was to follow the plan they had laid out for you and you should be able to advance.

That is, of course, considering that you are able to even grasp the steps they have given despite all the hindrances thrown at you to begin with...

But for Lumenmancy class, I realised that the professor was not doing that at all. Her lesson plan was that she would not give us everything we needed, but just enough that we would understand what we might need.

Under the best circumstances, the students would then go on to experiment and practice what they learned in order to figure out the next steps that they would need to take to advance, but well...

There was just one problem with that...

Looking at my classmates for that particular class, I could already tell that a lot of my classmates were just glad that they did not have to do anything extra just to listen to the class so they were completely relaxed.

And because of that... I can see a lot of them weren’t really paying attention to the class and most likely, they will also never go out of their way to learn and experiment on this magic on their own either.

So by the time they realised that just being in the class was not enough to actually advance their proficiency in this magic, it would probably be too late for them to pass the class.

I’m pretty sure Professor Leanarios was also doing this on purpose and she knew exactly what she was doing here... But this was her way of weeding out the students who she believes are not good enough for her class.

Additionally... She did give us a big clue that we were supposed to figure things out on our own when she mentioned that this magic she was teaching required us to learn and experiment on our own.

I guess some of my classmates just took that as the standard words a teacher would tell their students and paid no attention to it.

After all... They did very clearly tell all the students that their entrance to the school was only the beginning and whether we succeed or not was entirely up to our ability to grasp said success ourselves.

I will just say though... I don’t think the Chancellor had told anyone else about my connection with Isre but I realised that Professor Leanarios was shooting glances at me throughout the lesson specifically.

And no, the glances she was giving me were not the bedroom kind but more of the zealous kind... So I suspected that she might have felt I was connected to her goddess somehow.

At least she didn’t ask and the lesson ended without much fanfare.

As I gathered my things to leave the class, a group of seniors came in and their gazes swept through the lecture hall before stopping on me.

I then realised that they were the student affairs members that I beat up the other time.

The girl with the twin drills hairstyle spotted me and walked directly up to me, her expression neutral and betraying no emotion.

I did not try to leave and simply waited for her to approach me, watching as she stopped just a step away and wondering if she came here to fight again or something.

"Student Aster," She greeted me with a curt nod. "Might I have a little bit of your time?"

I maintained my facade of being a noble and lifted my chin slightly at her, "You may."

Neither of us moved and I realised that she wanted to take me somewhere else to talk but because I did not move, I was basically telling her that she could tell me what she wanted without moving anywhere else.

Sensing the tension, a few of the other students that were in the class quickly made an exit while the others opted to stay and watch instead.

I could move now and let her guide me away but I think that would look pretty lame so I doubled down and stayed where I was, my chin still tilted up at her so I was ’looking down’ on her.

She hesitated for a moment before she let out a breath to resolve herself.

"Student Aster. If you are interested, we would formally like to extend an invitation to let you join us as a member of the student affairs committee."

...

What?

Wait, wait... You guys remember... I beat you guys up pretty handily the last time right?

Are you guys actually serious?!
