What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1236: Can’t Run When There’s No Space To Run

Chapter 1236: Can’t Run When There’s No Space To Run

My Shadow Guards popped out from the ground, their numbers no less than the skeletons that surrounded us.

The Lich obviously wasn’t amused by this sudden change and pointed its staff at our direction again.

This time, he shot a beam of light directly at me but another [Laser] was shot from Lisa’s palm, accurately intercepting it and deflecting the attack to the side.

’Everyone! Concentrate on the Lich! My Shadow Guards will deal with the other skeletons!’ I ordered through our telepathy.

The girls needed no other encouragement as they all charged towards the Lich.

The skeletons tried to get in their way but my Shadow Guards jumped out and blew through the skeletons that were in the way, clearing the path for my girls.

They rushed through the gap right as the Lich tried to cast another spell again, its palm pointed towards them while embers seemed to gather in front of it.

Katsuki and Emilia jumped ahead of everyone else and struck the Lich, attempting to interrupt its spell casting.

Unfortunately, it seemed like the Lich’s barrier had regenerated as it appeared once again, blocking the strikes from Katsuki’s dagger and Emilia’s katana.

Lisa shot another [Laser] at the Lich but once again, the shield deflected the spell away from the monster, not even leaving a scratch.

Odeta then reached out her hand and Delmare grabbed onto her, allowing my Amrap to swing her forward and throw her in the direction of the Lich.

I watched as my Siren flew through the air with her rapier held in front of her, the enchantment of her weapon activating as water coated around her blade.

She struck against the shield with enough force to create a small shockwave, her sword piercing through the barrier and striking against the Lich in the ribs.

The Lich ended up getting thrown backwards a few steps and Delmare flipped herself back to land on her feet, stumbling for a moment as she had to recover from getting thrown at that speed.

I healed her up with a quick cast of [Heal] and she was immediately back on her feet, joining the rest in closing in on the Lich.

Gunshots rang out as Minnera fired several shots at the Lich, the bullets exploding on it and forcing it back a few more steps.

Emilia did not waste any time as she struck the back of the Lich with her blade, slashing through its robes to smack her blade against the spine of the Lich.

I had expected the monster to be cut in half but it seems like the Lich still had some kind of defensive magic around it as the strike made a metallic ’clang’ sound and deflected Emilia’s sword away.

The Lich raised its hand and a shockwave blasted out from it, throwing all my girls away from it.

It then spun around and swung its staff in a circle, causing some kind of star shaped object to appear on top of its head, the object itself giving off a rather ethereal light.

Not liking the object at all, I tried to shoot at it with a [Spark Strike] but the moment my spell materialised to rush towards the Lich, it immediately shifted its head away and avoided the bolt of lightning that was shot at it.

Odeta and Katsuki leapt towards the Lich, my Amrap attacking it from the front while my Inugami snuck up from behind.

The Lich swayed to the side, letting Odeta’s punch sail through the space it had just vacated before it ducked its head to avoid the slash that Katsuki sent it its way.

It then raised its staff and a beam of light was shot out again, this time to intercept Lisa’s arrow of light that she had fired at it.

Emilia and Delmare jumped in at the same time, my Siren coming in from the side while my Nekomata coming in from above the Lich.

Without even needing to look at them, the Lich swung its staff to deflect Emilia’s blade away and leaned back to let Delmare’s rapier pass through the space in front of her.

The Lich then let out a blast of fire at Emilia, sending her flying back as it exploded against her.

Even as the spell left its hand, the Lich blinked away and the bullets shot from Minnera’s pistols completely missed their target.

Crap… I think whatever that star thing was… It’s allowing it to see into the future or it somehow helps the Lich predict our moves before we even do them.

This is so unfair.

The Lich raised its hand again and purple orbs began to gather above its palm once more, looking just like what it was trying to do the first time we managed to stop it.

’We need to stop that!!’ Lisa cried out through our mental link, projecting the same thought to the other girls as well. ’That spell is going to draw us into an illusion that we won’t be able to escape from!’

Spurred by her revelation, everyone converged on the Lich once again.

A flurry of attacks were launched at the Lich from all directions by my girls and I, but despite the fact that it was trying to cast a spell, the Lich still managed to move around and avoid our attacks or block it with his barrier that had been recharged once again.

Even when I tried to fire a charged [Laser] at it, the Lich simply teleported itself somewhere else right as I shot the spell, completely avoiding it.

Alright, screw this…

Eins! Go!!

The hall seemed to darken as my shadow extended outwards, covering almost all the ground that was inside this hall.

As though that wasn’t enough, my shadow continued to cover the walls and even the ceiling, turning this entire hall black.

And from the blackness, my Shadow Guards rose from within, occupying every single available space that wasn’t already occupied.

Then, all at once, all of them shot towards the Lich.

The skeletons that the Lich had summoned were still locked in their own battles with the Shadow Guards I summoned earlier so they couldn’t even help their summoner if they wanted to.

The Lich started teleporting around, trying its best to avoid the barrage of attacks that was being launched at it from all directions.

Even if it could predict the attack, as long as we fill up all the space that it can go with our attacks, it wouldn’t even matter.

And sure enough, with my Shadow Guards synchronising with each other, the Lich eventually ran out of places to escape to and was hit with a barrage of spells that struck it down at the same time.

The Lich fell to the ground, only to have everyone around it jump on it and start beating it up while it was still on the ground.

There was no way we were giving it another chance to recover after the annoying fight it just put us through.

My girls joined in as well of course, all of them kicking and punching the Lich like it was just a pile of trash and I even spotted Odeta using the Lich’s staff to smack it over its head.

Be careful with that thing, Odeta… We might even get that as loot later so don’t break it…

They continued to wail at it for a while and I would have felt pity for the Lich if it wasn’t for the fact that this monster was the cause of everything that had happened today.

And also the fact that it was even acting smug earlier when it managed to use whatever magic that was to avoid our attacks.

Eventually, the girls were satisfied and I stepped forward to give the Lich the final blow.

The monster looked up at it, its once pristine robes were tattered and torn and even its bones showed cracks which was honestly surprising since a normal skeleton would most definitely have been pummeled to bone dust by now.

Guess this wasn’t a boss monster for nothing.

Now I kind of want to learn Clairvoyance since it looked pretty OP when this Lich used it. Hopefully they teach that magic at the Academy.

Anyway, time to end this~

I raised my Light Sword and brought it down on the Lich, only to hear a metallic clang as something suddenly popped out in front of my sword to block it.

Looking at the object, I realised that it was an umbrella and it was even a familiar looking one too.

Following the length of the umbrella, my gaze rested on its owner, someone that I didn’t think would appear here of all places.

“You…” I muttered, prompting everyone to go back into their battle stance as they pointed their weapons at the girl who started a cult of Off-Worlders to overthrow the gods.

She gave me a wave, “Hello there~ Long time no see~”

What the hell are you doing here?!
