Chapter 802: Chapter 801: Mommy Is a Big Dummy

After dinner, they left the restaurant.

Bella said, "President Sinclair, we can take a taxi back, no need to trouble you to drive us."

"Mommy." The little girl gently shook Bella’s hand.

Why does Mommy want to drive Daddy away like this? Daddy looks so pitiful.

Bella squeezed the little girl’s hand, signaling her to temporarily stay quiet.

Though usually a little bootlicker and somewhat cheeky and cute, the little girl listened to Bella’s words at crucial moments.

Receiving Bella’s hint, even though she felt Daddy being driven away like this was pitiful, she didn’t say anything more. She just looked pitifully at Damian, silently praying in her heart, hoping Daddy wouldn’t leave so easily.

Damian looked at her and nodded after a while, "Alright, that’s fine." He then got into his car.

Bella’s heart slightly ached, but she managed a smile. Only after watching Damian drive away in his own car did she finally hail a taxi.

The little girl thought Daddy leaving alone like this was truly pitiful and suddenly broke free from Bella’s hand, crying and shouting, "Mommy is a fool!"

After cursing, she ran alone towards Damian’s car.

"Talia!" Ethan wanted to chase after the little girl.

Bella’s face darkened, "Do not go!"

Ethan had to stop in his tracks, and Sharon sighed, "Bella, whatever the matter is, let’s discuss it when we get back, okay?"

Bella looked at the little girl and said, "Talia, today you either go with him or with me. If you choose him, then don’t come to find me in the future."

"Mommy is a fool, Talia never wants to like Mommy again!" The little girl cried sadly, wiping her tears, and rushed into the arms of Damian who had already gotten out of the car.

Damian picked up the little girl to console her, looking at Bella expressionlessly.

Bella also looked at him, finally biting her lip, opening the taxi door, and getting in.

Sharon and Ethan were in a difficult position.

Ethan really wanted to go and bring Talia back, while Sharon didn’t want to see Bella and Damian become so estranged.

"Talia, come back quickly, okay?" Ethan asked.

The little girl shook her head, "Mommy is a fool! Mommy is a fool! Wah wah!"

Sharon bent over and said, "Bella, look how sad Talia is crying, don’t be so stubborn."

"If she wants her Daddy instead of her Mommy, then let her follow her Daddy!" Bella gritted her teeth and turned away, wiping the tears from her eyes with her finger.

Sharon sighed, patted Ethan’s shoulder, and said softly, "Ethan, you get in the car with your sister first. I’ll go over and talk."

"Alright." Ethan nodded and got in the car.

Sharon walked over, sighed, and said, "Talia, what your Mommy just said was all in anger, don’t take it seriously, okay?"

The little girl cried very sadly, holding Damian’s neck tightly, not letting go.

Sharon said, "President Sinclair, then I’ll trouble you to take care of Talia today. She is very obedient; at eight-thirty in the evening, give her a cup of warm milk, after washing up, she’ll go to bed."

"I will take good care of Talia," Damian nodded.

Sharon sighed again, "Bella has been hurt before; it’s impossible for her to quickly recover, so don’t rush or blame her."

"I understand," Damian said, "She’s feeling sad, please comfort her more."

Seeing Damian still caring about Bella, Sharon finally felt a bit relieved.

The two chatted for a couple more minutes before Sharon went back and got in the taxi.

The taxi drove away, and Bella kept turning her face to look out the window, her eyes red.
