Chapter 801: Chapter 800: He Actually Reached This Extent (3)

Damian Sinclair didn’t deliberately restrain her this time.

Bella Acker pushed Damian aside, not even glancing at him, opened the cubicle door, and quickly walked out.

Damian wiped a bit of blood off the corner of his mouth with his thumb, stood with deep eyes for a moment, then walked out.

Bella Acker returned to the booth after touching up her makeup. The dishes were already on the table, but none of the three had started eating.

Bella sat back and asked, "Why haven’t you eaten?"

"Waiting for Mommy and Daddy," the little girl looked at the dishes on the table, her mouth watering, "Mommy, can we eat?"

Bella picked up chopsticks to put food into her bowl, "Eat." She then picked some food for Ethan and Sharon as well.

Sharon glanced at her expression and knew Damian’s persuasion mostly hadn’t worked. But with the two kids present, it was not appropriate to ask in detail.

The four of them started eating, and after a while, Damian returned.

Bella acted as if she didn’t see him, just eating her meal, occasionally picking some food for the two kids.

Even the little girl could sense the unusual atmosphere between them. She sneaked glances at each of them, biting her chopsticks without eating.

Bella gently tapped her chopsticks, "Don’t bite your chopsticks while eating."

"Oh." The little girl opened her mouth to catch the piece of meat she was fed, chewing while her eyes continued darting between the two adults.

Ethan picked up some food for her and softly said, "Talia, be good, eat well."

The little girl seized the chance to grab him, putting down the chopsticks and whispered into his ear, "Uncle, did Mommy and Daddy have a fight? They were just fine when they went out, but after seeing that lady at the door, Mommy seemed upset. Now she seems unhappy with Daddy."

"I don’t know. Kids shouldn’t worry about adult matters, okay?" Ethan poked her cheek, "Eat well, Uncle will tell you a story tonight."

"Okay!" The little girl was instantly happy, immediately forgetting about Bella and Damian’s issues, and returned to her seat to eat obediently with big bites.

After the meal, Bella called the waiter in to bill them. She first took the receipt, handed over the money, and said, "Thank you."

The waiter took the money and left the private room.

Damian looked at Bella without saying a word.

Bella smiled slightly and said, "President Sinclair, I should be the one to treat you today, thank you for being willing to sell the house to me at such a low price." Her expression seemed normal, as if there was no displeasure at all.

But Damian could sense that the little bit of closeness they had managed to achieve was once again blocked by her erecting high walls.

The more polite she was, the more distant she became.

Damian was almost suffocating from the frustration, and after a while, he said lightly, "I am Talia’s father, it’s the least I can do."

Bella smiled, "Talia, shouldn’t you thank your godfather?"

The little girl tilted her head, "Mommy, what should I thank Daddy for?"

Bella was taken aback by the question and then said, "Because of you, President Sinclair sold the house to us cheaply, so we have our own home now."

"But why be so polite with Daddy?" the little girl was still puzzled.

Bella’s expression froze.

Sharon smiled and changed the subject, "Why are you looking for a house so soon? Staying with me a bit longer isn’t a bad idea."

"It’s okay, it’s still not too far away, and Talia, Ethan, and I can visit you anytime." Bella smiled back, "Besides, we won’t move until after the New Year anyway."
