Chapter 763: Chapter 762: Oh My Sweetheart (6)

A little girl of three or four years old, playing the violin and able to express such rich emotions through it—this is a truly shocking talent.

The old man gradually listened more intently, the smile on his face also faded.

No longer smiling, the old man was no longer just a pitiful elder—his entire being unconsciously exuded the aura of a leader.

Bella and Sharon heard the little girl playing the violin and also put down what they were doing to stand by the kitchen door and listen quietly.

As the piece ended, the little girl opened her eyes, instantly bending her round eyes into a smile. "Great-grandpa, did it sound good?"

"It was wonderful, really wonderful! Our Talia is amazing." The old man immediately gave a thumbs up, "Number one in the world!"

"Hehe, does great-grandpa like it?"

"I love it." The old man said, "Talia, have you learned other pieces?"

"Yes, there’s a really fun one." The little girl nodded, positioning the violin back on her shoulder and beginning to play again.

Music started again, but unlike the previous soft melody, it was a lively nursery rhyme.

As the little girl played, she also sang, "Under the bridge in front, there’s a group of ducks swimming, come quickly, count them, two, four, six, seven, eight... hehe..."

The little girl thought it was fun herself and laughed as she sang.

Sharon looked on and said, "Bella, find Talia another top-notch violin teacher. She is so talented in this area."

"Okay." Bella smiled, "But children are fickle, and I don’t want to force her to learn things she isn’t interested in. Let’s ask for her own opinion first. If she wants to learn, I’ll find a teacher."

"That’s a good idea. Don’t look at Talia being so young; she’s actually very opinionated." Sharon said, "You have no idea how much more joy she’s brought to the family."

"Godmother, I was just going to talk to you about this." They returned to the kitchen to keep busy. Bella put down the yam in her hand and said, "I’ve found a house and plan to move there with Ethan and Talia in a while."

"Why the rush?" Sharon seemed a bit reluctant, "Once you move out, it’ll be so lonely for me to live in such a big house alone."

Bella gave an ambiguous smile and whispered, "With us there, it’s always inconvenient for Director Ford to come over. Plus, when you two get married, you’ll live together, and Director Ford will have to keep you company, won’t he?"

"You cheeky girl, you’re teasing me." Sharon’s face flushed, and she gently tapped Bella.

Bella didn’t dodge, replying with a laugh, "Godmother, I found that after you got together with Director Ford, you became a bit like a young lady—easily blushing and shy."

"If you keep teasing me, I’ll really hit you." Sharon feigned annoyance, giving Bella a reproachful glance, then focused on washing vegetables.

Bella chuckled and dropped the subject, switching to other topics.

They started preparing lunch quite early, but it was still noon by the time they finished.

Bella carried the last bowl of stewed chicken soup to the table, and the four of them sat down to eat lunch.

The little girl very thoughtfully picked up a piece of chicken and placed it in the old man’s bowl, "Great-grandpa, have some meat."

"Alright, alright, alright, our Talia should eat too." The old man immediately picked up a drumstick and placed it in the little girl’s bowl.

"Mommy says, good things are meant to be shared with everyone." The little girl divided the meat from the drumstick and gave it to the three others.

The old man couldn’t help but be fond of her, "Young Acker, you’ve taught Talia really well."

Should we tell the old man that Talia just doesn’t like chicken meat?
