If Landuin’s swordsmanship emphasizes speed and ferocity, with hand-to-hand displays of his peak mastery, then in his grasp, the Unbreakable Lake Light brings forth an endless sense of bravery and dominance.

The knight’s long spear twirled in the air, its attack range so vast that Laine couldn’t get close to Landuin at all. He wielded the Unbreakable Lake Light with one arm, sweeping it across and tearing a black rift through space, the twisted spear tip like a giant beast devouring all. Surrounded by the sacred light of the Lake Fairy, that sharp spear tip became Laine’s nightmare.

No matter how he tried to approach, Landuin’s spear swept and slashed, forcing Laine to retreat repeatedly. The sound of their weapon clashes became less frequent yet more heavy.

It was only then that the onlookers realized the Lake Knight was merely testing Laine earlier, and only now was Landuin showing his full strength!

Despite its incredible speed, the Knight’s Sword, when wielded by hand, became overwhelmingly swift after Landuin was injured, leaving Laine breathless against his fierce assault.

The knight’s long spear, Unbreakable Lake Light, was slow but possessed an immense attack range. Once Landuin continuously swung the spear, Laine had to choose between being pierced by the spear or struggling to get close to Landuin.

Left hand holding a sword, right hand wielding a spear, the Lake Knight dual-wielded weapons, engaging directly with Laine move by move: "Come on, Laine Macado!"

"I will not fail!" Laine too felt his blood boiling, the advancement bringing even greater strength to the Divine Chosen Champion of the Lake Fairy. Facing Landuin’s leaping chop, Laine quickly sidestepped and unleashed his own sword strike: "I must defeat you here, Sir Landuin!"

"Haha! Very well, such beautiful determination!" Landuin laughed heartily, his voice filled with deep pleasure: "Then, defeat me!"

"Ding!"

"Clang!"

By this time, the battle had lasted from noon to dusk, but the crowd was so captivated by this championship showdown that no one had the inclination to eat.

At this moment, Red Dragon Duke Bohemond spoke, his voice filled with indescribable sorrow.

"Sir Landuin was a close companion of my ancestor Arthur, his best friend, a perfect man in every way." Bohemond gazed at the battle over the marsh before the graveyard and softly spoke to Francois: "He dedicated his entire life to honing his martial arts, his strength. After being bestowed the Holy Grail by the Lady, Landuin’s achievements in twelve great battles even earned Arthur’s admiration and the Lady’s astonishment."

"He was a pure martial artist, his sole pursuit was to become stronger and to win." Francois nodded: "I think, when he joined Arthur’s alliance to fight against the Green Skins, it must have been due to his noble nature as a martial artist, as well as his responsibility as a leader."

"But in the end, Landuin fell out with Sirulf." Bohemond shook his head with deep sadness: "Sir Landuin, he was a pure martial artist, a noble knight, but he was not an excellent ruler or minister of internal affairs... much like myself."

Hearing this, Francois nodded, knowing well that among the Holy Grail Knights, few like himself and Laine had excellent abilities in internal affairs; most were lacking in understanding of governance and diplomacy.

Landuin’s tragedy lay in this fact.

After going through several great battles with Arthur and returning to Musillon, Musillon had already been destroyed by the Undead Army of an Undead Mage. Although the Holy Grail Companions fought fiercely and killed the Undead Mage, Musillon had already been ravaged.

Landuin’s problem was found here—he could defeat the Undead Mage, he could destroy every enemy, but he did not know how to restore production, how to return Musillon to its former glory. All he could do was devote all his energy to might, making himself even stronger.

"After Landuin and Sirulf’s relations deteriorated due to a series of emotional conflicts and territorial disputes, since Arthur had already passed away, no one had the prestige to mediate between these two first-generation Holy Grail Knights." Francois continued: "Thus, Sir Landuin was plunged into extreme pain. On one hand, he and Sirulf were close friends, partners who founded a nation together, trusted battle companions."

"On the other hand, Landuin was the Duke of Musillon and a noble Holy Grail Knight. He was obligated to clear his name, he had to take responsibility for his people and his territory. The chivalric spirit and responsibility made him aware that he had to stand up against Sirulf’s impeachment and questioning. Landuin was conflicted; he found that whatever he did went against the rules he had set for himself, leaving only pain."

"The Lake Knight, after all, was a martial artist. He chose to defeat Sirulf through a championship duel and left an ugly scar on his former friend’s face." Bohemond nodded, an endless sorrow on the face of the Red Dragon Duke: "Afterwards, Landuin returned to Musillon and never left his castle again, until his passing."

"Ding! Clang!" The battle between Laine and Landuin continued, with no signs of stopping or a victor emerging. The Revenge Goddess Sword in Laine’s hand whirled like the wind; Landuin’s spear and sword swept across, the duel between two Holy Sanctuary Holy Grail Knights unknowingly carried on under the full moon’s radiance.
