Warhammer Divine Throne
Chapter 1244 - 535: Legacy of the Dwarves and Elves (Part 3)
Laine wanted to say something, but the two women shot him a glance to indicate that this was none of his business.
On this matter, the female sorcerer couldn't outtalk the Lake God Witch. The two women discussed privately for a few moments, and after agreeing on the terms, Teresa got up to leave.
As soon as the female sorcerer left, Mogiana immediately nestled into Laine's embrace. She sat on Laine's lap, her beautiful feet wrapped in white stockings swinging back and forth under her skirt, her face flushed: "What would you like to eat tonight? I'll make it for you."
"Anything is fine." Laine smiled as he hugged Mogiana's waist to make her sit more comfortably, secretly feeling troubled. Ever since they conquered Sharp-Top Palace, Mogiana arranged for herself and Laine to stay in the room at the top of the castle. Ostensibly they were separated, but during the day it was bearable. At night, she clung to Laine and almost never let go, insisting on him fulfilling his duties before she fell soundly asleep.
As the First Divine Chosen of the Holy Sanctuary level Lake Fairy, Mogiana naturally had great stamina. If it weren't for Laine's exceptional physical strength and amazing energy, he might not have been able to handle her. Even so, Laine was experiencing both pain and pleasure.
Having a harem is truly not something done casually.
Mogiana and Laine cozied up on the chair for a while, then the room door was knocked on. Laine gently gestured for Mogiana to get up: "It's Juan, the goods have arrived—I'll head out for a bit."
"Alright, I'll wait for you to come back." Mogiana knew about the matter. With a flushed face, she let the skirt down from her waist and smoothed out the wrinkles in her stockings on her beautiful legs before turning into the inner room.
The room door opened, revealing Juan's youthful face: "Lord Laine, the transportation team's wagon has arrived!"
"Great, let's go take a look together then."
The two walked down the tower together. Outside the window, the golden sunset enveloped Sharp-Top Palace's streets. In the beautiful twilight glow, even the streets of the palace were coated in golden hues.
In the distance, melodious chanting seemed to drift over, praising the Lake Fairy.
Along Sharp-Top Palace's broken streets, Laine and Juan walked outside, as the new transportation team had delivered a hundred fire cannons, and Laine intended to inspect them.
Juan was fully armed, wearing the full armor of the Flame Sun Knight. He looked at the setting sun and twilight, suddenly speaking.
"Feels so quiet, there aren't any Vampire armies around—very different from Margaret."
"Yes, probably moved all of Musillon's forces to the Richard Castle side." Laine replied casually.
"But that no longer matters!" Juan said enthusiastically.
"You're in a good mood!" Laine teased, looking at the young man full of spirit.
"Of course! Musillon is about to be saved, and everyone is working hard for it!" Juan answered happily: "That's why I need to give it my all!"
"Ah~ yes." Laine lowered his head, pondering.
He had been planning the attack on Musillon for many years, and now just waited for the spring plowing to finish—then he would summon the army and completely eradicate this poison that had plagued the Knight Kingdom for nearly three hundred years.
Juan's words were true; my efforts haven't been entirely in vain. Now the whole of Brittania is revitalized under my endeavors.
In the future as well, as long as we don't halt, the path will keep extending...
Laine still had more to contemplate; meanwhile, the wagons from the transportation team suddenly burst out from the forest trail at an extremely fast speed, followed by a piercing braking sound.
"Hmm?!"
