Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 363: The Fruit Finally Ripens
Once the servants left, Damian turned toward Serina and Miona again. "Alright. Since we’re basically inviting your enemies to come find us, there’s another problem we need to fix."
Damian pointed toward the sisters before lowering his hand. "There’s still one problem. You two are way too weak right now."
Miona’s eye immediately twitched. "You really know how to say things nicely, don’t you?"
Damian completely ignored her and turned toward Cynthia. "Cynthia, your Qi is mostly water-aligned anyway. Train these two for now, will you?"
He rolled his eyes toward the sisters. "At least until you two are strong enough that I don’t have to worry about you getting kidnapped the moment I look away."
Hearing Damian’s words, both sisters immediately glared at him with obvious hostility, but Damian ignored them as usual.
Cynthia nodded calmly. "Don’t worry, Master. I’ll make sure to train them properly and help them grow stronger."
Damian then turned toward Evelyn. "Can you help too? More teachers are better, right?"
Evelyn remained silent for a moment before giving a small nod. "Fine. They’re harem candidates, after all. We can’t have our future sisters being too weak."
Hearing Evelyn say that only made Miona even more irritated, but there was little she could do. Compared to the Dragon Sisters, the two of them really were still far too weak.
Miona could only curse under her breath, while Serina eventually let out a helpless sigh, already accepting that the two of them were probably about to be trained brutally from now on.
As the sisters were led away for training, Cassandra suddenly stepped closer to Damian and lightly tugged on his sleeve.
Her crimson eyes were already glowing faintly as she licked one of her sharp fangs. "Master... I’m feeling quite thirsty and hungry today."
Damian stared at her for a second before immediately understanding what she meant.
Before he could answer, Cassandra’s smile turned predatory. "Let’s continue this conversation in bed, shall we?"
Damian looked at her eager expression and could only sigh, though a grin still appeared on his face. "Fine, fine. I’ll let you have your fill."
Cassandra’s fangs slowly extended as she happily followed him toward the room. "Hehe... good."
Damian glanced back at her. "Just don’t fucking drain me dry again today."
Cassandra’s smile widened. "No promises."
---
Several days passed, and just as Damian intended, news concerning the Twin Keys began spreading alongside the growing reputation of the [Forbidden Immortal Harem].
Naturally, almost nobody actually knew what the Twin Keys were, and some cultivators even assumed they were special artifacts.
Others believed they were fragments of a map, ancient formation keys, or perhaps some mysterious cultivation inheritance.
The fact that the [Forbidden Immortal Harem] had openly announced that the Twin Keys were under their protection only made people even more curious.
"If those lunatics are protecting them, they must be valuable."
"Could they be another pair of King Grade treasures?"
"Who knows? That faction already has several ridiculous weapons. Maybe they discovered another inheritance."
Rumors quickly became increasingly exaggerated, and before long, several factions had already sent people to investigate.
However, far away from the temporary base, there was one faction that reacted very differently.
Inside the headquarters of the Blackwater Shadow Pavilion, Pavilion Master Corlan was calmly reading through intelligence reports when his hand suddenly froze.
His eyes locked onto two words: Twin Keys.
For several seconds, he simply stared at them as memories from decades ago slowly resurfaced.
Back then, Corlan had only been an Early Golden Core cultivator struggling to establish his own faction.
During that time, one of his closest friends, Lenox, who was now the master of the Hidden Abyss Hall, had discovered something unbelievable.
Lenox had unexpectedly discovered an ancient ruin, but what he found inside wasn’t treasure. It was two living babies and that alone was enough to shock them.
If those infants had truly been sealed inside the ruin since ancient times, then they were ancient humans who had somehow survived until the present era.
The two of them also uncovered several damaged ancient records near the babies.
The moment they read through them, they were stunned. According to the records, the infants were known as the Twin Keys, living beings required to unlock a certain ancient inheritance.
Corlan could still remember Lenox excitedly spreading the damaged records across a table.
"From what I can understand, the Twin Keys are currently dormant," Lenox said. "They can’t truly awaken until they reach a certain age."
He pointed toward another damaged section of the record. "And there’s more. They also need to experience an extremely powerful emotional stimulation before the Twin Keys can fully awaken."
After reading the records, the two of them quickly understood what kind of emotional stimulation would be easiest to create: fear, despair, hatred, revenge, and even life-and-death situations.
From that moment on, they began planning everything meticulously. Corlan himself had personally helped arrange several parts of the sisters’ lives from the shadows.
That even included allowing their adoptive parents to discover that the two babies possessed extraordinary talent, then deliberately letting them take the infants away and raise them normally.
Years gradually turned into decades, and Corlan became increasingly occupied with building the Blackwater Shadow Pavilion.
Eventually, the matter of the Twin Keys faded so far into the back of his mind that he almost forgot about it entirely.
If news about the Twin Keys hadn’t suddenly resurfaced, Corlan might have continued ignoring the matter for several more years.
Corlan slowly lowered the intelligence report and grinned. "So the Twin Keys are inside the Forbidden Immortal Harem, huh..."
His smile didn’t fade as he continued reading through the information on this newly emerged faction.
Strange name aside, they were clearly powerful. Even the forces of the Morath Clan had been wiped out by them, and more importantly, the faction possessed two King Grade weapons.
That alone was enough to place them among the top factions in the region.
With this information, Corlan knew taking the Twin Keys wouldn’t be easy.
In the end, he reached into his storage ring and pulled out a communication jade he rarely used.
He stared at it for a moment before smiling. "It seems the time for us to work together again has finally come..."
Corlan turned toward the window, his grin slowly widening. "Let’s harvest the fruit we’ve been cultivating for all these years."
