Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 358: Miona Is Actually Tsundere
Once everyone had returned to the temporary base, Damian glanced around at the exhausted group.
He decided not to force another serious discussion that night and clapped his hands. "Alright, we’ve already dealt with enough shit today. Let’s all get some rest."
His gaze shifted toward Serina and Miona. "As for the Twin Keys, we’ll talk about that tomorrow."
Serina nodded almost immediately. "Yes, Damian. I was thinking the same thing. Everyone is already exhausted."
Miona crossed her arms. "Good. Because I’m not explaining that whole mess again tonight."
Helena was already unconscious, while Linsey looked like she could fall asleep standing up.
Evelyn remained beside Helena with her usual quiet vigilance, and even Cynthia’s normally composed expression showed clear fatigue.
Cassandra stretched her arms above her head and sighed. "Finally. I was starting to wonder if we were going to spend the entire night dealing with one fucking disaster after another."
Damian glanced at her. "You say that like you weren’t enjoying half of it."
Cassandra grinned. "Oh, I enjoyed the killing. The talking part was exhausting."
Cynthia gave her a flat look. "Somehow, that distinction does not make you sound better."
Cassandra only shrugged, completely unbothered. "It wasn’t supposed to."
Damian rubbed his tired face. "Come on, it’s already late. Everyone, just go to sleep. Let’s rest for now. I’ll handle the guard duty tonight."
The women finally nodded and, one by one, returned to their rooms, leaving Damian outside to keep watch.
Serina paused near the doorway and looked back at Damian. "Thank you for not pushing us tonight."
Damian waved lazily. "You’re exhausted. I’d rather hear the story when you’re not half-dead."
Miona stood beside her sister and narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "That almost sounded considerate."
Damian raised an eyebrow. "Almost? Damn, Miona. I was about to guard you all night, and this is the respect I get?"
Miona looked ready to explode, but before she could start yelling, Serina quickly grabbed her and dragged her back inside.
Meanwhile, Cassandra leaned against the doorframe, watching Damian closely. "You’re planning something, aren’t you? That’s why you’re telling all of us to go inside."
Damian looked at her with an innocent expression. "Me? Of course not. I’m not planning anything. Please, just go inside and get some rest, my queen."
Cassandra narrowed her eyes and stared at him for a moment before finally sighing. "Fine, then. Should I keep the others from coming back out?"
Damian turned toward her and nodded. "Yeah, please do. And don’t worry, I’m not about to do anything crazy."
Cassandra gave him one last suspicious look. "Coming from you, that means absolutely nothing."
Damian only chuckled. In the end, Cassandra did as he asked and returned to the room.
Now completely alone, Damian finally grinned and rubbed his hands together. "Alright, let’s check their favorability toward me first."
---
[Serina Favorability: 85]
[Miona Favorability: 80]
---
Damian blinked and rubbed his eyes. "Seriously? Serina having 85 favorability is already pretty damn good, but..."
His gaze shifted to the second number, and he blinked again. "Miona... how the hell is she already at eighty?"
Considering how often Miona cursed at him, Damian had expected her favorability to lag much further behind her sister’s.
Apparently, that wasn’t the case at all. Her favorability had already climbed to 80.
Damian could only chuckle. "Hehe... what a tsundere girl. I like it."
He turned his attention back to the system and immediately said, "Open Serina and Miona’s villainess movie."
Resting one hand on his chin, he muttered, "Rather than interrogating them and getting nothing useful, it’s better to just watch their fucking movie. I have a system for a reason, after all."
The System immediately responded.
---
[Detected: Serina and Miona possess intertwined villainess fate lines.]
[Currently, their original destinies cannot be viewed independently.]
[Fusing Fate Records...]
---
Damian raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "I see. Connected fates... Well, that’s not too surprising. They’re sisters, and on top of that, they’re the Twin Keys."
Soon, the system screen changed, directly revealing Serina and Miona’s fate movie from a different timeline, the timeline where Damian had never appeared.
---
Serina and Miona were born into an ordinary family of wandering cultivators who specialized in water-element cultivation.
They were simply two sisters blessed with good spiritual roots, raised by loving parents who constantly traveled between different cultivation cities.
Their lives were ordinary at first, but one night, everything changed when their family was attacked by a group of wandering bandits for reasons they never understood.
Their parents fought desperately while their mother hurried the two sisters beneath their home and sealed them inside a hidden underground water chamber.
The last thing Serina and Miona saw was their mother smiling at them through the closing formation.
By morning, their parents were dead, and the two sisters were left completely alone.
With no connections, no protection, and nowhere else to go, their future should have collapsed entirely.
Coincidentally, however, the Nether Blood Moon Sect happened to be recruiting nearby, and their requirements were simple: young women with good spiritual roots.
By another stroke of coincidence, both Serina and Miona fit those conditions perfectly.
So, with no better choice left to them, the two sisters joined the demonic sect.
What followed was mostly what Damian already knew. The two sisters trained within the Nether Blood Moon Sect before eventually being sent to infiltrate the Blue Mist Sect as spies.
However, in this timeline, where Damian had never appeared, the war between the two sects continued to spiral further out of control.
Eventually, Serina and Miona decided they had had enough and escaped before the conflict could swallow them completely.
Even so, they did not leave empty-handed.
Before disappearing, the sisters managed to embezzle a large amount of money, pills, and cultivation resources from both sides.
Those stolen resources later allowed them to break through and reach the Golden Core Realm after their escape.
Now that they had finally reached the Golden Core Realm, the sisters were ready to take revenge.
Even after all those years, they had never stopped searching for the truth behind their parents’ sudden deaths.
Eventually, they discovered that the attack had not been random at all.
Someone had ordered their parents to be killed, and they even found the man who had sold out their family’s information: Darrick.
So Serina and Miona hunted him down.
Just like the story Helena had told Damian before, they cornered Darrick and interrogated him, finally learning that the real targets had always been the sisters themselves, the ones known as the Twin Keys.
However, before Darrick could explain any further, a hidden assassin suddenly killed him and immediately turned on both sisters.
From this point onward, Damian leaned forward with a grin. "This is where Helena showed up before, but now that she isn’t here... I wonder what happens next?"
