Chapter 290: The Harem Demands Voting Rights

Cynthia looked between the three women before finally getting straight to the point. "I invited Esmeralda to join the [Forbidden Immortal Harem]."

Silence.

Before any of them could respond, Cynthia became analytical again. "She’s quite talented and intelligent, and her background is also extremely good."

Linsey leaned back in her chair and shrugged. "Well... it doesn’t really matter, right, Cynthia?"

The others looked toward her.

Linsey continued casually, "This harem group belongs to Damian, after all. Whoever he chooses to bring into it, we can only accept her."

Helena tilted her head slightly before giving a reluctant nod. "True... but still, this group is basically his private organization, so we should at least make sure anyone who joins is useful."

She shrugged. "We can’t just let Master Damian bring in every woman he wants without thinking about it. We don’t want the harem to become filled with useless members, right?"

Evelyn finally sighed and spoke. "If that’s the case, then let’s meet this Esmeralda first."

She turned toward Cynthia. "You said there was a time limit for her to decide whether she wants to join this harem. When is it?"

Cynthia answered, "After the festival."

Evelyn nodded once. "Then that settles it. We’ll just watch how she behaves during the festival and decide afterward."

She paused before adding, "And Cynthia, tell Damian something for me. From now on, if he wants to bring another woman into the harem, he needs the agreement of the current members first."

Cynthia stared at her for a moment before letting out a helpless sigh. "Fine."

---

The next several days passed surprisingly peacefully, as Damian spent most of his free time doing exactly what he enjoyed most.

He stayed inside the courtesan house, either eating good food, listening to beautiful women playing music, or naturally... giving away some ridiculously fucking expensive gifts.

Every Gifting Day, he selected one of the more talented courtesans and casually handed over pills, talismans, cultivation resources, or whatever else he had accumulated.

To those women, even a Noble Grade gift was already enough to leave them speechless.

To Damian, however, they were simply investments.

Especially when the system occasionally rewarded him with Top-Rank Royal Grade items like pills or talismans, which were extremely useful to him.

Damian practically treated the entire courtesan house like a fucking treasure farm. "Hehehe..."

He didn’t stop there either.

During those days, he also met with Linsey, Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn several times and handed them useful gifts whenever the opportunity appeared.

Their multipliers were far better than those of ordinary women, and their high favorability made the returns even more absurd.

As a result, Damian’s stockpile continued growing, making his grin widen even further every time he checked his storage rings.

By the time several days had passed, Damian had accumulated far too many treasures.

Almost everything valuable inside his storage rings was now at least Top-Rank Royal Grade.

Even many Golden Core elders would probably want to fucking rob him if they knew how wealthy he had become.

Naturally, Damian kept all of it hidden.

Eventually, the day before the Valeria and Valehart Families’ festival arrived.

Damian had just finished eating inside his private room at the courtesan house when someone suddenly knocked on the door.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Damian glanced toward it and casually called out, "Just come in. It’s not locked."

The door soon opened.

Surprisingly, Cynthia and her three friends were the ones who entered.

Damian leaned back slightly, clearly surprised. He hadn’t expected all four of them to come together.

Still, considering the festival was tomorrow, he immediately assumed they had discovered something important.

Damian looked between them. "Why are all four of you here? Did you find some new information you need to tell me?"

A troubling thought suddenly entered his mind.

His expression changed. "Don’t tell me... did something happen that caused the festival to suddenly get canceled?"

Helena’s eyebrow twitched. "Please be serious, Master Damian. We’re here for another matter."

Damian stared at her. "So if that’s not the case, then what are all of you doing here?"

Cynthia could only sigh. "Don’t worry, Master. It isn’t bad news or good news. There’s just something we need to tell you."

Damian raised an eyebrow, his expression becoming increasingly suspicious. "Hm..."

His gaze moved slowly across all four women. "You four came here together just to talk to me... suspicious."

Evelyn frowned. "Just hear us out first, Master Damian. Don’t suddenly start making strange ideas in your head."

Damian sighed and raised both hands in surrender. "Fine, fine, Evelyn. I’m all ears."

He leaned back comfortably in his chair. "Tell me. What do you four want?"

Cynthia glanced toward Linsey, Helena, and Evelyn one last time before turning back to Damian. "We’ve made a decision regarding the [Forbidden Immortal Harem]."

Damian raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Cynthia folded her hands in front of her. "From now on, if you want to add another woman as an official member of the harem, she’ll need the approval of the current members first."

Silence filled the room.

Damian stared at the four women for several seconds before slowly leaning back and sighing. "So... that’s what you four came here to talk about?"

The four women nodded almost simultaneously.

Damian blinked before casually nodding. "Okay."

Silence.

This time, the four women stared at Damian in shock. None of them had expected him to accept their demand so easily.

Damian looked between them with a confused expression. "What the hell is with those faces? Isn’t that what you wanted?"

Helena immediately spoke. "It’s not that we don’t want you to agree, but... isn’t it a little too simple? You just accepted it without arguing at all."

Damian tilted his head. "Huh? What do you mean? Isn’t this exactly what you wanted?"

He shrugged casually. "Besides, it’s actually a pretty good idea, isn’t it?"

Linsey blinked repeatedly. "I thought you were going to argue. You know... considering you’re quite a pervert."

Damian looked genuinely offended. "Come on! You know me better than that."

He placed a hand against his chest. "Although I might be a pervert, I’m still a smart cultivator, okay?"

Linsey stared at him.

Helena stared at him.

Cynthia quietly covered her mouth.

Even Evelyn’s expression became slightly strange.

Damian quickly waved his hand dismissively. "Anyway, the rule is approved. Congratulations. You four now officially have voting rights over my fucking love life."

Cynthia smiled faintly.

Damian immediately changed the subject. "Now can we please talk about something actually important?"

He pointed toward the window. "The festival is tomorrow, so tell me what your plan is."
