But as the blue lightning shattered, the Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel flickered and vanished. The next instant, it reappeared behind Shen Daoxing, opening its massive jaws to bite down on his head.

At the same time, its tail moved stealthily from below, snaking up to wrap around Shen Daoxing’s body.

Shen Daoxing merely smiled. ’Perfect timing,’ he thought.

BZZZT!

Suddenly, black lightning sparked beneath his feet. He stomped down, sending the eel’s ambushing tail flying with a BANG. Using the momentum, he shot upward, soaring high above the Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel’s head.

At that moment, Shen Daoxing spun around. His powerful fist descended once more, smashing viciously onto the top of the Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel’s head.

BOOM!

A massive shockwave erupted through the water.

The Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel’s head was slammed down with such force that it plunged straight into the lakebed, its body going rigid and standing vertically in the water.

Instantly, Shen Daoxing wrapped his arms around the Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel’s tail.

The Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel sensed the danger and thrashed wildly, trying to coil around Shen Daoxing’s body.

But Shen Daoxing had already lifted it by its tail and begun to swing it rapidly. He spun it round and round in the water, and the eel’s twisting body was pulled taut.

Then, Shen Daoxing dropped to the lake floor and slammed it down with both hands.

BANG!

A tremendous sound shook the entire lake bottom as the Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel’s body smashed onto the lakebed, stirring up clouds of silt.

Then, Shen Daoxing heaved it over his shoulder, swinging the entire Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel up and slamming it down on the other side of the lakebed with another BANG.

The Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel, a demon beast at the Ninth Layer of the Earth Profound Realm and the overlord of this region, was now like a toy in Shen Daoxing’s hands. He swung and smashed it around the lake at will, giving it no chance to resist.

Deciding that was enough, Shen Daoxing spun the Extreme Thunder Ancient Eel around a few more times with a SWOOSH, then released his grip and flung it away.

It then tilted its head back and sniffed the water, as if catching a scent. A moment later, it leaped up and swam off into the distance.
