"That’s not a bad idea," Wang Chenning nodded, then immediately shook his head. "But I don’t feel like doing that right now. You can get someone to write the script first. Maybe I’ll give it a shot someday when I’m in the mood."

"Alright!" Yang Xiaomi agreed at once. "I’ll have a few other good scripts prepared and submit them to Young Master Wang for review."

"Stop with the ’Young Master Wang’ this and ’Young Master Wang’ that. I’m not some pampered heir," Wang Chenning said with a wave of his hand. "Just call me Brother Ning."

"Yes, Brother Ning!" Yang Xiaomi replied instantly. "Should I call them in and get their contracts signed, then?"

Wang Chenning nodded.

Yang Xiaomi immediately went to the next room to bring the actors in. Meanwhile, Wang Chenning sent a text to Li Mingchao, telling him to come over right away.

*I’ll go with you to see your grandfather in a bit and help treat him.*

"I’ll have it sorted out in the next couple of days!" Yang Xiaomi promised at once.

Wang Chenning then mentioned to Li Mingchao that Yang Xiaofei was planning to invest in Cyan Bird Media. He didn’t ask for Li Mingchao’s opinion, simply informing him that for Cyan Bird Media, he himself would be the majority shareholder, and Yang Xiaofei would be the third-largest.

Li Mingchao was quite surprised that Wang Chenning had left the position of second-largest shareholder to him.

"Brother Ning, just tell me what you need me to do for Cyan Bird Media!" Li Mingchao declared, thumping his chest in front of the women.

When Wang Chenning also entrusted her with overseeing Cyan Bird Media, Zheng Qiuhang was both daunted and incredibly thrilled.

"I’m going to assign your former assistant, Lv Qinglan, to help her," Wang Chenning replied with a smile. "They’re all people I recruited when they were in trouble. As long as they’re not fools, their loyalty and hard work won’t disappoint me. I’m not after them for their looks; this is all based on human nature. My trust in Li Mingchao is based on the same principle. I’ve studied a bit of psychology, you know."

"Who’d believe that!" Yang Xiaofei huffed. "You’re protesting too much. If it were true, you wouldn’t feel the need to explain it."

"Believe what you want."

Zhao Xiao’an couldn’t resist asking, "So you trust women more?"

"It’s not about trusting women more," Wang Chenning explained with a grin. "I’ll make good use of anyone, man or woman, as long as I have the chance. Someone who wants to achieve great things can’t get bogged down by such details. Besides," he added, "I have no intention of lowering my standards."

Wang Chenning’s smug remark earned him simultaneous, cold huffs from both Yang Xiaofei and Zhao Xiao’an.
